The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. Dating back to 1890, this mansion was romantically constructed by John Mouat as an ode to his beloved wife, Amelia. After more than a century, it now operates as a luxurious Bed and Breakfast as well as an attractive event destination. The mansion has been beautifully restored to its original floor plan. The spacious third floor ballroom gives access to the top of the turret with great views of Downtown Denver and the surrounding Potter Highland neighborhood. In the 1890s, the ballroom originally hosted teas, dances and social functions for the elite of Denver through the 1890s continuing on into the early 1900s. Behind the mansion, is our amazing spacious garden. It is an oasis in the city. The oldest remaining structure in Denver’s iconic Union Station neighborhood, historic Hose House No. 1 was one of the first fire stations in Denver. This fire station preceded paid City of Denver fire departments and began as a volunteer fire station in 1881. Now, it has been lovingly restored and re-imagined as an iconic, inclusive kitchen and bar. Located in the heart of the newly thriving Union Station neighborhood, Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar is an icon for its history and legacy. This neighborhood, formerly known as The Bottoms represents both Denver’s oldest and newest districts and Woodie Fisher serves as a metaphor for the City of Denver and the Bottom’s history.
