Avery House

The Avery House was built in 1879. It served as the family home of Franklin and Sara Avery and their three children. The home was built of sandstone from local quarries and includes a carriage house, large yard, gazebo, and fountain.

    We are so happy we picked the Avery House for our wedding. It is absolutely 100% the best bang for your buck venue in Northern Colorado. The communication with the Poudre Landmarks Foundation team was fast, easy, and reliable throughout the planning process. We loved the home's unique, historic architecture, and the venue offered special touches like vintage lawn games and tours inside the beautiful house. Our photos look straight out of a fairy tale. The quality of the Avery House's work and value was truly clean, historic, and unique - it was the perfect setting for our special day.
