Congratulations on your upcoming event, and thank you for considering booking with The Barrel! If you are looking for a non-traditional event venue, well then, you have found it! The Barrel offers Bavarian-style Outdoor Beer Garden and a rustic Indoor Beer Hall. Our cozy mountain hideaway is nestled on Moraine Ave., giving us beautiful views of Prospect Mountain, as well as a central location to RMNP and Downtown Estes Park. We want to make sure you are able to host your dream event at The Barrel. Whether that be by hiring a food truck or caterer, hiring a DJ, band or creating your own Spotify playlist, etc., we are happy to assist in making your vision a reality. We would love for you make yourself at home in our mountain hideaway!

As a planner, I just did my first rehearsal dinner/welcome party at The Barrel. My clients were very happy with the results. It's a casual atmosphere, and the bar remains open during your event, but there is some separation between your event and the open bar area. Food trucks are welcome or we had a caterer set up a lovely buffet. It's a very "Colorado" experience ...don your cowboy boots and jeans and kick back the night before your wedding.

Warning: Ingrid, the owner of the Barrel, makes it clear—this place is NOT for events. Avoid at all costs. Ingrid's incompetence knows no bounds. She showed up two hours late to set up for our event, then had the nerve to scream at us when we expressed our frustration. Her utter lack of professionalism and respect for our contract turned what should've been a joyous occasion into a nightmare. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay far away from the Barrel and its despicable owner, Ingrid.

No. It is illegal to bring in alcohol and will be disposed of immediately when found.

No. However there is plenty of street parking along Moraine Ave. and two parking lots on either side of The Barrel.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

We do not set the start time and/or end time of your event, except for 11pm being the latest. We do not book multiple events in the same space/tables on the same day, unless one is in the morning and ends early afternoon and the second one starts in the evening. We also do not allow events to reserve the space/tables for the entire day. Typically, events are 3 - 5hrs.

No, our venue is fully insured.

Yes, dogs are welcome in our Beer Hall and Beer Garden.

We love food, we just don't make it here. Everyone is welcome to bring their own packed picnic, order from the rotating food truck onsite, have food delivered or bring in food from any of the Estes Park restaurants. For your event, you are welcome to bring in food, hire a cater and/or have food delivered.

Yes, we are family friendly. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

No, we are not, but we have the largest variety and best selection in Northern Colorado.

We do not allow smoking or vaping on our property. Additionally, smoking is not allowed on or within 20 feet of outdoor patios abutting a public right-of-way or sidewalk.

Yes, water is complimentary and we have a wide selection of non-alcoholic beer, Colorado craft sodas, CBD drinks, kombucha, and lemonade available for purchase.
