We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

The staff, especially Dan, the events coordination, was incredibly friendly and willing to work with us for our wedding here. The price is also relatively cost effective, especially if you book on Sundays and get the entire venue!! I would highly recommend this venue if you like the overall vibe of the restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night. Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision. We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!

This venue allowed us the space to create a 70s basement. We loved being able to change the ceiling lighting. Bekkah our coordinator was the first person we talked to. The groom said yes to the venue, specifically for the groom’s suit. They had a great time in there before the wedding. Bekkah was on board with every idea we had, she truly allowed me to feel like I had the freedom to run with my ideas. She was so helpful with the set-up of the wedding and her presence really put everyone at ease. She paid attention to our color scheme and it was awesome to get the chair upgrade. She was organized with some great layouts and spread sheets that were even colored coded using the colors of the wedding! Being out of state and a majority of our meetings happening through zoom calls, she made sure I was always involved. Mckiah the banquet captain, seemed to be right there every time we needed anything. She was very attentive, always keeping our drinks full. The serving staff worked quickly and quietly. They were very efficient and discreet. The bartender was everyone’s favorite person. He was very kind by expressing his appreciation for being included with the “tiki” theme. He remembered people drinks and got them ready before they asked. The guard was also just a pleasant person to have around. He was approachable and seemed to enjoy talking to everyone. My brother had his wedding at the Ken Carl location in December of 2022 so we knew the food was going to be good. The family and guests had a lot of dietary restrictions. The vegan/gf peppers were fantastic and having so many salad options was a great way to help accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. The tortellini and the prime rib were tied for everyone’s favorite. However, as there was no prime rib left over, I think it has to be the winner. Bret and Chris, the chefs, did not disappoint. Elizabeth the DJ, truly set the vibe for our 70’s wedding. She found every specific song we asked and check in on us all night. She always made sure we were ready to move on to the next thing and double check to make sure we were all on the same page. Once Tom from Love & Lense, heard about our wedding theme, he was completely on board. Chelsea stopped by the venue early, where she took pictures of each individual table decoration because each setup was different. They were great to have around all evening. They paid attention to my Pinterest board and made sure to incorporate pictures that I had asked for. We won a portrait during the food tasting extravaganza, which was very exciting. I can’t wait to see how all the pictures turn out.

The Chateaux At Fox Meadows was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The event space features gorgeous natural lighting from the large windows and a spacious patio that was ideal for our outdoor cocktail hour. Our event planner(s), Sarah & Kayla, were extremely prompt, professional, and friendly in all of our communications leading up to the big day. They were very accommodating with any special requests we had to personalize the space and make it our own. The staff the day-of was also incredibly helpful, working seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure everything flowed smoothly for us and our guests. We received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful venue and exceptional service from the Chateaux team. They were affordable and have an In-House Vendor Package you can choose that includes pretty much everything you need for your wedding day! We had our wedding at The Ramble and stayed for multiple nights leading up to and after the special day. I have zero complaints about our whole stay, everything was perfect. The venue is stunning. The food and drinks were delicious. The rooms were very cute and comfortable. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful to us and our guests. They went out of their way multiple times to ensure our comfort and it was so appreciated. Leading up to the day, they were very communicative and so welcoming with each visit we made. Planning the wedding from out of state, they truly took so much pressure off our plate. Tessa and her team absolutely killed it, and it shows in how smoothly they are able to run an event. We’re so thankful they helped create a special day for us.

Our wedding on July 27th at The Simon was nothing short of perfection! From the stunning location to the impeccable service, everything exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with our wedding at Upper Larimer. The owners, Chad and Sonia, were professional and stayed in constant communication. They were there the day of the event to make sure everything went smoothly. We appreciated the clear outline of the contract, what was included, what we needed to provide and staying on top of the details and ensuring that the day was a success. Out of all the vendors, our venue was the best experience! Highly recommend working with them :)

The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. Dating back to 1890, this mansion was romantically constructed by John Mouat as an ode to his beloved wife, Amelia. After more than a century, it now operates as a luxurious Bed and Breakfast as well as an attractive event destination. The mansion has been beautifully restored to its original floor plan. The spacious third floor ballroom gives access to the top of the turret with great views of Downtown Denver and the surrounding Potter Highland neighborhood. In the 1890s, the ballroom originally hosted teas, dances and social functions for the elite of Denver through the 1890s continuing on into the early 1900s. Behind the mansion, is our amazing spacious garden. It is an oasis in the city. Shaded by enormous narrow leafed cottonwood trees and filled with a variety of flowers, and fountains, the garden is amazing.

We were very particular about what we wanted from our wedding venue and the Lumber Baron delivered on everything. We wanted a Denver venue that you could stay at both the night before and the night after, a place in a cool neighborhood for the guests to be able to explore, with an outside area for the ceremony and reception, that was also gorgeous to take pictures in and around. The staff were super accommodating and Elaine, Joel, and Sasha are a great team. While we had a more laid-back wedding in terms of organization, flowers, etc, Sasha made everything so easy! The food was fantastic, we were able to special request specific beer that we wanted at the event, and they were awesome at setting up Sunday Brunch for the morning after for our guests as well. Could not recommend this place enough!

I've worked with Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar and Chef Franco was so easy to work with along with being flexible and creative for menu offerings. The space is bright and yet has that industrial and eclectic feel to it with the glass ceiling and historic brick. Not only are there inside options, but we can also spread to the outside.

When we were looking for a wedding venue, finding one with a functional Organ was at the top of our list. From our initial meeting with the venue to the walk-through, to even the rehearsal we were strung along under the belief that the organ was functional, and had recently been tuned. A matter of fact, when we went to one of our meetings at the venue we asked directly the girl we were working with this question to make sure it was working, she said that it was completely functional and they recently had someone come in to turn it in and that it played regularly. Sadly, that was not the case. It was a complete lie so here we are as brides panicking when our first musician to play it came down with Covid, we found a back up that they came down with Covid, less than 48 hours before the wedding, we found a third person to play it, who was on their way to the venue when I was notified after asking if they have a chair for it, but it doesn’t work and has never worked since the building was purchased as a wedding venue. I do appreciate that the owner did give us a bottle of champagne and contact the church that holds service there to hook up speakers for a ceremony but it’s really frustrating that we were strung along for a very long period of time believing it worked, and this was the most important thing that we wanted for our wedding and we didn’t get to have it. Yes, the speakers did their job, but even with that there was confusion and even when my wife was walking down the aisle to be the wrong song was played, not to mention I couldn’t fully do what I want to do for my walk, which was play the Phantom of the opera overture halfway down the aisle, then go to the traditional wedding marsh. Another issue I have with them is communication. They absolutely are horrific when it comes to communication whether it be myself or our wedding planner or our vendors, we all had trouble getting in touch with the venue. Every email I sent was met with a out of office reply. Then sometimes you wouldn’t hear back for the Mondays, or you would have to contact them multiple times over and over again to finally get someone another thing that they really need to improve on. Are the hallways at the building. There is a ramp that is very, very slick towards the end of the night, our six-year-old son took a nasty fall on it, which caused bruising to his foot. We had other wedding guess that we’re going between the getting ready rooms slipping in their dress shoes down this ramp. Yes, there is a railing on it, but it should not be that slick. Another frustration is the parking lot when you book the venue it comes with 25 spots but there’s absolutely no enforcement from the venue itself that they clear the lot prior to your event. There were two camper vans parked in the lot upon us, arriving the day of her wedding, and about 10 other cars that did not belong to anybody at the wedding. I appreciate that the spots are included, but that should come with the fact that Lot should be cleared before any event. We even notice and notify the venue a few months before the wedding. The people could purchase parking spots on a parking website and other websites for that very lot for the exact date and time of my wedding, if the lot is part of the rental, that should not be happening. It’s a beautiful venue just disappointed by organ issues! :( kinda ruined a dream!

The Lobby Venue was a fantastic choice for our urban wedding. Christian the owner, communicated with us in a quick, direct, and pleasant manner throughout the planning process, providing helpful information that guided us to a wonderful event. The venue itself has a hip, cozy vibe while still being budget-friendly with a feeling of class. They were accommodating of our guests' dietary needs and had great suggestions that contributed to an amazing experience overall. The courtyard offered an amazing spot for our ceremony and some beautiful photos. From start to finish, The Lobby Venue's knowledgeable team ensured our special day went smoothly. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for an intimate, laidback venue with character. It was truly a blessing to find a venue that was so great about being LGBTQ friendly! Here, there are plenty of opportunities for couples to customize the venue and services. Foraged opened in 2019 and quickly developed a reputation for quality food and excellent service. The chefs curate the menus around a thoughtful selection of seasonal ingredients. Options include dishes from around the world to appeal to a variety of palates. Foraged can host rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, and receptions for parties of up to 200 guests. The dining area features a beautiful chandelier created by a talented local artist and reflects the creative vibe of the restaurant. With modern decor, the event spaces elevate the ambience of a couple’s celebrations. Services include rentals, such as linens, in addition to setup and cleanup. The menu is tailored to the couple’s preferences and dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

We hosted our 100-person welcome party at Foraged and we couldn't have better things to say. From the delicious food/drinks, the professionalism of all staff (especially our planner!), and the lounge-style atmosphere, this was an unforgettable experience for our guests. 10/10 they knocked it out of the park.

We planned our wedding at the Oxford in less than six months, and could not have been happier with the entire process. Brittany was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and truly listened to what we wanted. She was relaxed and calm, but ALWAYS on top of it, and provided us many options as we weighed our priorities. The entire event felt so much like us. Planning and working with Brittany was made easy because she is so organized, and never imposed her own views on us (but gave great advice when we asked). We absolutely loved the accommodations offered to us and to our guests, and the service at the hotel was exemplary - all of the staff are so friendly! There were no hidden or tricky costs, and the food was absolutely phenomenal - people still talk about it over a year later! We found such ease in being able to host all in one spot - many of our guests stayed at the hotel, we held the ceremony and reception there, and transportation was super easy for everyone. Guests enjoyed the cocktail lounge after the reception, and many ate next store at the Urban Farmer for breakfast. It's a special place to go back to now - we loved our wedding and the planning process, and cannot recommend working with Brittany enough!

The Rally Hotel was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was fast and responsive, which was so helpful as we were planning our big day. They have plenty of options depending on the size of your event, and we were able to find the perfect space that fit our needs. On the day of the wedding, the staff went above and beyond - they came to our room to grab all of our decor and set everything up when we were running late, and they were so kind and accommodating throughout the process. The space looked incredible, and our guests raved about what a fun and unique hotel it was for an event. We're so grateful to the team at The Rally Hotel for helping make our wedding day so special.

Clock Tower Events is under new management and located in downtown Denver. Prior to 1950 the Daniels & Fisher Department store was the ‘crown jewel’ of the Denver skyline. Built in 1911, the D&F Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, at a height of 393 feet. In the 1960’s after financial ruin the building was set to be demolished. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it lights up the Denver skyline and remains a defining building for downtown. Now, the top five floors of this beloved structure are available for smaller, private events through Clock Tower Events. Located 20 floors up in Downtown Denver, the recently renovated space features décor that’s elegant & modern, breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline & surrounding mountain ranges from two balconies & offers guests the opportunity to see behind the mysterious clock faces.
