I can't say enough wonderful things about The Vineyard at High Holly and the amazing owners, Leslie and Eric. My wedding was truly perfect, despite the unexpected arrival of Hurricane Helene! From the very beginning, Leslie and Eric went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, even as the storm approached. They made adjustments on the fly, ensuring that all of my guests were safe and comfortable while still creating the dream wedding I had envisioned. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made our ceremony unforgettable. The attention to detail, the warmth, and the hospitality were unparalleled. Leslie and Eric's dedication to their couples shines through in everything they do — they really treated us like family. Even in the face of a hurricane, they managed to keep the atmosphere calm and joyful, and their support made all the difference. If you're looking for a venue with a personal touch, stunning scenery, and hosts who truly care about your big day, I can’t recommend The Vineyard at High Holly enough. We are minutes from, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Asheville, NC.​ The Barn is a 3,200 square foot converted stable, a unique rustic barn with the elegance of 21 chandeliers, 2000 square foot Patio draped with Tuscan lights. The Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable celebration, whether it’s a rustic elegant wedding for 50 or 500 guest. The Lodge is a 5,000 square foot Conference Center. The Great room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings. The Boardroom will seat 14 people at a conference table. There are 2 additional dressing rooms upstairs. The largest of the dressing rooms is known as the Brides Room, providing a relaxing and calming feel, with large vaulted ceilings, and views of the mountains.

This wedding venue is gorgeous. The mountains and autumn leaves were absolutely amazing to have especially coupled with the secluded, rustic barn setting that Doug has put together. The staff was so helpful and courteous, supporting us with final decoration touches and amazing host skills. Our bartender, Don, went above-and-beyond by creating our bride-and-groom cocktails with alternative ingredients even when we ran out. They were all really great at day-of coordination. Doug makes all of the food and it turns out really delicious; we recommend the braciole and polenta! The entire day worked out great and our needs were met on the day-of to make the final day very special for us. Although, keep in mind that Doug is solely running the place, which makes it rather difficult to contact him via email or phone. When we arrived for the food tasting in June (wedding date in November), the tasting was rather disorganized and chaotic, leaving us no room to ask questions or determine much-needed details (such as alcohol, food, decorations, seating, order-of-ceremony, vendors, etc. ). Doug's mother, Frida, hosted us for the tasting and left us having more questions than answers. These details were not discussed as was originally planned, but panned over quickly without room for further discussion. Unbeknownst to us there was another wedding at the time of our tasting, which did not allow us the room or time to discuss the topics during the tasting. She was further surprised that we wanted to see the venue, asking if we could come back later, only to be disgruntled when we said we lived out-of-state, which was known to them several months before. It was a stressful 'first look'; recommend going through Doug only for all arrangements/communication. Even so, details were often forgotten--and last minute, we were notified that a special event license was needed to serve alcohol, which (living in DC) is almost impossible to get any government action in less than 4 weeks. It was down to the wire when we finally got the license. Wish we had known of the license requirement 5 months prior in June during the tasting. All being said, it is a beautiful venue and Doug is very kind to take on the venture of hosting weddings at his venue. Be an on-point, early planner and you'll succeed.

We loved having our wedding at Mountain View Acres. It was easy to communicate with/work with Shannon and her family. The Farmhouse was the perfect place to get ready, the pergola was beautiful for our ceremony, the pavilion worked well for lunch and music, and staying overnight in The Barn was cozy and sweet after our big day.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue! As a wedding planner, I always like to work with venues that have checked all their boxes. Meaning, they have thought through everything that a couple could need at their venue. I love that they have tables and chairs already on site for couples to use, that way they don’t have to outsource them. Another thing that I absolutely LOVE about the venue, is that they have created the space in black and white. This is absolutely PERFECT for anyone who wants to come in to have their wedding/event and make it their one. In talking with Brittany, she explained to me, that’s exactly want she had in mind when they started to decorate. I am so excited with recommend this venue to my future couples and I look forward to working there again!

I cannot recommend Highland Brewing enough! Every space is so gorgeous and customizable. We used all the spaces available and we loved being able to move our guests from space to space throughout the night . The rooftop has gorgeous mountain views and the barrel room was a dream for me with plants hanging from the ceiling! The staff was SO welcoming from the beginning and made the experience so easy. We felt so at ease working with them. Great communication, super helpful and willing to work with our ideas and make them happen! We fell in love with the pictures of the buildings and rooms online and couldn’t have imagined it being even better in person. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The hotel rooms and venue were absolutely beautiful and included details that made it that much more special. The close proximity to downtown action was so convenient for venturing out but you really feel tucked away in your own little world at Zelda Dearest. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Zelda Dearest and anticipate many more trips in the future since their team knocked it out of the park for our event!

What a wise decision we made to have our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Westin Poinsett Hotel. The appetizers were delicious, plated meal was cooked perfectly and the desserts were the perfect treat to end the meal. All of the staff who worked the event were attentive and made us feel at home. We highly recommend the Westin Poinsett for any kind of event. We will never forget it.

The Venue at Falls Park is a gorgeous and intimate location for a wedding, and the included options made for our perfect blend of convenience and DIY personalization. Our coordinator and her team were excellent on the day of our wedding, and her flower arrangements were incredible. She communicated with our vendors and ran a smooth rehearsal - having her venue coordinator services included with the venue allowed the whole family to enjoy the day. However, the communication between us leading up to the event was frustratingly full of errors and added a lot of stress. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful wedding. The venue has a wonderful floorplan and flow, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Having the bridal suite onsite made our timeline very relaxed, and the coordinator clearly has a great working relationship with other vendors in Greenville. The location downtown was great for our guests, and we were able to take photos down by the river. We are so glad we had our wedding at The Venue at Falls Park.

Emerald Ridge made every part of our weekend so perfect and special. This location and views are absolutely STUNNING. The owners truly cared so much and made our day magical. Their organization and communication are both top notch. We recommend using the coordinator at the venue, Malorie, as she was the true MVP and knows every detail at this venue back to front. We booked the no rush weekend and used the venue for our rehearsal as well. Our dog stayed with us all weekend as well which made us feel right at home. All in all we couldn’t be happier and enjoyed every minute here.

My husband and I got married at Timber Hall at the end of June and had a wonderful experience! Cheri was communicative, helpful, and very reassuring when it comes to the planning process. She was incredible helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions for vendors along the way! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has a dreamy outdoor space for the couple's first dance and parent dances. The ceremony was so memorable with the long walk-way and the unique ceremony site, our guests kept complimenting it all night! Our pictures turned out amazing with the mountain views in the background! We loved everything about Timber Hall and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We highly recommend this venue for someone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in the mountains!

Milepost 1808 Wedding Venue and Events was an incredible choice for our wedding. From the beginning, Jaime and her team were incredibly communicative, answering all of our questions quickly and efficiently. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - we were blown away when we first toured it, as it was much more affordable than the other venues we had looked at that wanted three times as much. Milepost 1808 included so much more in their package, like tables, chairs, and linens, that we couldn't have gotten elsewhere. They were also very flexible, allowing us to use their bridal suite and inventory as needed. Jaime and her team truly went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.
