The People’s Tap, nestled in the heart of downtown Greenville, is the quintessential, casual venue.

From casual parties to corporate happy hours, showers, and receptions, our semi-private space sets the stage for memorable moments. The space combines a casual atmosphere with an elevated, modern architecture. Our expansive windows and patio offer panoramic views of the Reedy River and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We were established in January 2023 and 100% woman owned & operated.

    Following our lovely wedding at the Rock Quarry Garden in Greenville and a lunch with guests, we wanted a casual gathering with friends and family somewhere later in the day to cap off the celebrations. We reached out to The People's Tap to rent their semi-private space, and their team was extremely accommodating, including providing assistance to bring our own catering in, setting aside an exclusive area for us, and coordinating with us on music and a slideshow video that we provided. The People's Tap is in an ideal, easy to reach location that looks out on the Reedy River in the middle of downtown Greenville. It has a warm and cozy environment, yet is spacious enough to accommodate fairly large groups if required. The staff make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Great place for the ending of the Best Day (so far) of our Lives!

    The People’s Tap was a fantastic venue to book for our surprise engagement party. Their ownership and staff were so flexible throughout the planning and worked to accommodate all of our catering and decoration asks. They even set up AV equipment for us for our champagne toast. My fiancé’s family came in from Texas and they were wow’ed by the ideal setting and location of the People’s Tap - right along the swamp rabbit trail and Reedy River, and just a several minute walk from Falls Park. Can’t recommend the People’s Tap enough and look forward to using them again for events in the future!

    I had the honor of photographing at The People's Tap for a recent styled shoot and loved every corner of the space and the intimate yet super welcoming environment. The team was great to work with, every detail is immaculate, and the natural light from the windows is more than ideal for photos. Highly recommend this space for your intimate wedding/elopement!
