Ryon Lockhart Photography

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,500

We are Sarah (Lockhart) + Tim (Ryon) A husband and wife run company specializing in wedding and lifestyle photography since 2011. We met at a photo production studio in 2008, moved in together less than 6 months later (much to our parents chagrin- sorry, guys!) and never, ever looked back. Sarah is our lead photographer, and Tim runs the crucial behind-the-scenes work that ensures everyone has the seamless experience our clients have come to know and love over the years! We firmly believe love is love, Black Lives Matter, climate change is real, and it’s totally acceptable to hug someone upon meeting them.

When looking for a photographer for my wedding i knew i wanted someone who captures the sweet unnoticed moments and the feeling of pure love through the day. Sara was just that. My husband and i couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our day. Sara’s work is not only incredible but her presence on our wedding day was something we needed. She was funny outgoing professional and most of all such a light to work with. My husband isn’t to comfortable posing and around cameras but she coached him through all the poses and made us belly laugh the whole day. Sara thank you again for making all of our photo dreams come true. I would chose your and your team over and over again. Love always, the savages ️

Everly Studios | NYC Wedding & Elopement Photographer

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,950

I’m a wife, dog mom and luxury elopement photographer who has happily made her home in the New York City area for the past 15+ years. For me, wedding photography — whether there’s 200 guests or just two people total — is about capturing a feeling. It’s that wave of relief on your partner’s face the moment they see you. It’s how newlyweds can’t stop sneaking grins at each other. It’s how you want to recreate the first date, folding dollar slices or drinking twenty-dollar cocktails. That’s the good stuff. And I hope that when you look through your wedding album down the line, you’ll remember exactly how you felt at that moment.

Jocelyn is the best wedding photographer you could ask for. Beyond talented, amazing personality, and overall a wonderful human being. From our initial communication, I knew she was the one. She is fun, organized, communicative, and truly made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day. We were able to fully express ourselves around her and you can really see our happiness and silliness emanating in the pictures and memories Jocelyn captured. She should absolutely be your go-to girl for any wedding photography needs in NYC!

Rosie Cohe Photography

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Editorial style

Rosie has provided stunning portrait and live photography for some of the biggest and hippest names in music. She has an intense passion and eye for composition and her artistic aim is to always capture the authenticity of the moment. Her glow and warmth acts as a soothing presence for those she shoots, welcoming their true selves to be captured in her work. Rosie adores providing portraits for families and weddings as she feels incredibly fortunate to play a part in such special memories!

Rosie helped to capture two of the most important events of our lives - our wedding day and the birth of our son. Aside from being absolutely lovely to work with, she is incredibly talented and that comes through in every single photo she takes. The most important factor for us when searching for a photographer was to find someone who could capture these moments in an authentic and beautiful way. Rosie's style is just that. Her warm yet professional demeanor made us feel like we could be ourselves in front of the camera and trusted her guidance entirely. We will cherish these moments that Rosie's work allows us to relive forever. Hands down, choosing her as our wedding photographer was the best and more important decision we made throughout the process!

Hilo & Ginger

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $6,000

Hilo & Ginger was founded by me in 2013. Born in Austria and raised around the world, the traveling gene has been soever present. I am based in New York City, shooting weddings & editorials worldwide.

Luca, at Hilo & Ginger, was an absolute gem to work with! You will not find a more versatile, go-with-the-flow, able to adapt to anything photographer. She is professional, hard-working and personable which really puts you at ease while you are posing and standing for tons of pictures throughout the day. Sometimes we didn't even know she was there capturing the greatest candid shot. Seriously, we cannot recommend her enough. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel stressed and Luca makes sure to alleviate any potential stress, while staying on top of her A game with every shot!! Luca never missed a single moment- not one. She captured moments that we didn't even know had existed, until we were looking over our photos together. She perfectly captured all the joy of our day in laughing candids, funny photos and still took some of the most gorgeous and breathtaking shots I've ever seen. Did I mention she did the entire shoot in the rain in freezing cold weather? Not once did she complain and the photos she took came out stunning. She was ready to work on the fly in any environment. Like I said, a no-stress wedding photographer is absolutely a MUST when it comes to weddings ladies, trust me! When my husband, James, and I got married in NYC, we were very worried that we would not be able to find a quality photographer in Manhattan that would fit our limited budget, but Luca exceeded our expectations in giving us a great deal that fit right within our budget and she gave us GORGEOUS photos. Not to mention she sent us some of the edited photos the same day...THE SAME DAY. I'm telling you, working with Luca was unlike any other experience I've had, witnessed at other weddings, or heard of from my friends. 10/10 would recommend. You would be foolish not to consider hiring Hilo & Ginger to make your wedding dreams come true.
