Our wedding at Uptown Indigo was perfect from start to finish. The facility is so much bigger than these photos suggest. My husband and I both feel that the level of service and attention to detail made the value of Uptown Indigo second to none. When we first went in for a tour, Duncan made us cocktails and spent more time with us than any other tour we had. The staff actually cared about us and we didn't just feel like a number. My favorite part was the bridal suite in the morning. They turned the whole top floor into the bridal suite and it felt like a movie when the elevator doors opened and we walked out and placed our dresses on the coat hanger. There was music playing, and mimosas set out. My mom started crying and then I started crying and I knew then that the day would be perfect. I highly recommend the Uptown Indigo venue/family and we am so thankful that we trusted our wedding day to them.

Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. This renovated mansion is designed with beautiful weddings in mind and will give you an elegant backdrop that will create a celebration that is full of everlasting memories. Separk Mansion is ideal for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The first floor ballroom retains old vintage hardwood floors and has a ceiling that shimmers with crystal chandeliers. At the front there is a large staircase as well as large front doors that lead to an expansive limestone veranda that can be used for a cocktail hour. This impressive estate was built in 1919 by textile mogul Joseph Separk. He lived in the mansion with his wife and son during the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent complete renovation and is currently one of the most popular locations for ceremonies and receptions. The mansion is part of the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Working with Separk was super easy from start to finish. We had Hannah as our wedding coordinator and she did a great job with creating and sticking to the timeline. She also did great at setting up our decor items and some flowers we brought to the venue. She was very communicative with us and our bridal party/family so that everyone knew what was expected from them for the ceremony. Overall we had a great experience with Separk and had the most perfect wedding thanks to them!

Serenity Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was extremely responsive via email and phone leading up to the big event, answering all of our questions thoroughly. On the wedding day itself, they went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were constantly available to assist with anything we needed, responding within seconds to requests. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute changes was invaluable. We couldn't have asked for more attentive, approachable, kind, and easy to work with people helping us pull off the wedding. Honestly, Serenity Ridge played a huge role in making our wedding absolutely perfect and effortless. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day long thanks to their top-notch coordination. Something Blue Mountain Venue was our first and only choice for our wedding venue. The views are breathtaking and it is like nature herself decided to give the perfect frame for every photo. The owner Lisa is wonderful and really makes it incredibly easy to show up and enjoy! She gave the best recommendations for vendors. Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Lisa!

Not only did I not have to really decorate the space because it's SO gorgeous, my guests cannot stop commenting on the magical atmosphere of the ceremony space. It's nestled below a gorgeous 1800's house, along a creek, and is so green and lush in the spring and summer. I bet fall weddings would be stunning too! We got married May 3rd. The owners are the sweetest and so wonderful to work with. I want to relive this day again and again!

Yvonne and Ashleigh at Aurora are WONDERFUL to work with, too. They were on top of everything and the day of our wedding was so smooth and easy. I never felt like I had anything to worry or stress about as far as the venue was concerned. I used Ashleigh for her day-of coordinator services, and it is one of my most highly-recommended things to do! She put a timeline and everything together for us without me having to stress. You will not regret using Aurora!

First, it’s beautiful. We did our ceremony at a Catholic church down the street and had our reception at the Rafters, but my favorite photos are by far the ones we took in front of the St Mark’s chapel- it’s so romantic! As a reception venue, it is very reasonably priced, and has everything you could need. We got ready in the adorable carriage house, and we also did my bridal shoot there a few weeks before the wedding- they turned out beautifully. Also, if you book with their caterer (The Flyin’ Lions), you get a discount AND support a good cause! But that’s not even the best part: their food is AMAZING. I am literally still dreaming about the salmon and mashed potatoes from my wedding day, and so many guests told me how much they loved the food. The taste testing was fun too, they have a ton of options! Also, Allison is the best coordinator EVER. You will love working with her, and every vendor I hired that had worked with her before told me the same thing! She is so personable and really gets to know you, and she will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. She is fantastic with communication; her responsiveness and helpfulness alone reduced my wedding planning stress. I also loved the preferred vendor list Allison provided; it made it a lot easier to narrow down our vendor choices! Allison and Debbie (from Flyin’ Lions) made our wedding and all the months leading up to it so special and wonderful; we cannot recommend them enough!

The Main Event was the perfect venue for our wedding welcome reception. From the start, their communication was quick, helpful, and full of great suggestions. We loved the front space they provided for our welcome party - it had such a warm, inviting feel. We had about 80 people and it was perfect! The staff, especially Sara, was amazing and so helpful with every aspect of planning and coordinating our special day. They suggested wonderful caterers and their bar staff was fantastic. The setup was quick and easy, and they made us feel right at home and at ease throughout the entire process. For a small or big event, this is the venue you want to be at. The parking lot, A/V capabilities, and private photo room were an added bonus that really made our day run smoothly. For every meal purchased, they donate free meals to the community lunch program the following week. They’ve thought of everything: chinaware, servers, bartenders, and even the option to bring your liquor – saving you a ton of money. And if you need décor or a planner, John has incredible recommendations to make your vision come to life.
