About this venue
Rock Barn Country Club and Spa, located in Conover, North Carolina, is a beautiful country club that serves the greater Charlotte area. The club is a full service banquet and catering facility, with unique and varied event venues for weddings and special events. The clubhouses, two golf courses, and beautifully manicured greenery make for lovely scenery on your special day. Photography backdrops abound, from the signature golf hole with a dramatic waterfall to a rustic wooden covered bridge over a creek, tucked in a wooded area of the golf course.

Champs Bistro Restaurant
Champs Bistro Private Restaurant with 2-sided fireplace, sofas, great place to relax on your special day.
The Champs Bistro is our members only restaurant at Rock Barn Country Club & Spa. It is an amazing space for up to 50 guests and can be used for many different type of events. The Bistro is connected to the Blue Ridge Ballroom and the Appalachian Ballroom. There is a covered space outside with fans and heaters, as well as a large bricked patio for socials and other outdoor activities. Nothing can beat the price - the perfect location for rehearsal dinners and socials.

Bodon's Library
Bodon's Library is a small intimate space at Rock Barn Country Club & Spa. This room has a built in Bar and can accommodate up to 30 guests.
Bodon's Library is the perfect place for a smaller party of 30 or less. The room has windows letting in sunlight - the library is located at the front of the clubhouse. This room is so versatile and can be used in so many ways!

Conference Room connected to the Blue Ridge Ballroom and the Boone Ballroom.
This is a great room, connected to the Blue Ridge Ballroom. Perfect for your band, dj, photographer, florist, and other vendors to hang out before, during and after your reception. The Oak room provides a safe place for vendors to leave equipment and other supplies, out of sight from your guests.

Blue Ridge Ballroom
Blue Ridge Ballroom can seat up to 300 guests. Plenty of space for all of your guests in one room. The terrace is no charge.
The Blue Ridge Ballroom, the combined space of Ballroom A & B, has a panoramic view of the Jones course. Ballroom A - Appalachian can accommodate up to 120 guests. Ballroom B - Boone can accommodate up to 100 guests. We have 3 portable bars, a stage, we can rent a dance floor, let our team put together a quote for your special day.

Perfect Venue for Small Ceremony & Reception
About 8 years ago, I had just joined Rock Barn Country Club & Spa. My sister asked me to "do" her wedding for her. The search for the venue was painful! Every place we visited charged thousands for the venue BEFORE we had ordered any food, beverage or decorations. Plus, we needed a small space - only 25 guests! Rock Barn was different. We did not pay for the space, only the food and beverage, taxes and gratuity. We even had a bar with a qualified bartender! I met with the team at RB and we had everything planned out in just a few minutes. I did my own decorations - because that is what I do - the ceremony, dinner reception, and pictures by the waterfall and covered bridge for 25 people was less than 2400 all in! I knew what a wonderful value this was for the bride and groom as they were on a budget. Since then, I am now the events coordinator at Rock Barn and I love every minute of what I do. I enjoy working with brides and grooms who are on that budget and need the spend to make sense! Let me help you too.

Penny was absolutely amazing in planning our baby shower! She thoughtfully organized everything—from seating arrangements to catering options, including a full buffet and bar. She even planned engaging games that over 75 guests could participate in, while also setting up a separate play area for kids. Her attention to detail and ability to create a fun, seamless experience truly made our celebration unforgettable! We plan to have all of our baby showers with Fine Occasions.
