Hartsoe Farms was phenominal. They far exceeded my expectations. When we booked our wedding, Kasey Hartsoe showed us a book of decorations to choose from. She helped me customize my tables based off my color choices and she put the flowers and decorations together. During the process after I left, she sent me pictures until I was satisfied with the results. I love that they set up and tear down for the clients! When we took our photos, there were so many locations to choose from. Its so peaceful and beautiful out there on the farm. Since our wedding almost two years ago there have been numerous improvements to the property. The shelter is now closed in with a beautiful gray wood on the exterior and a brown rustic look on the inside. The beautiful fairy lights make you feel transported. They also built a beautiful bridge you can take pictures on or walk over into the woods where there is alsp a bench to take pictures or get away for a private moment to speak as newly weds. I particularly like The Lounge where you can get ready or do touch ups before your event. The "Bridal" suite is elegant with many places to sit and a bar in the bathroom to do your make up. The "Grooms" suite is very manly, and well decorated. They provide wine glasses and whisky glasses for a sophisticated look in photos and for your guests in the bridal/groom lounge. They also added some out door bathrooms so your guests dont have to go all the way into the Lounge. They also do your music for you if you send a playlist. Overall, I can't believe this location is as cheap as it is with the services provided. If i could give 11/10 stars I would!! Thanks Hartsoe Farms for the perfect wedding!

Our ceremony on the Four Seasons Lawn and reception in the Great Hall were both picture-perfect, and our guests raved about the elegant cocktail hour in the Crepe Myrtle Grove. The bridal and groom's suites were an added bonus that allowed us to comfortably get ready on-site. Special shout-out to Monica, who was amazing and made our day run seamlessly. It's nestled below a gorgeous 1800's house, along a creek, and is so green and lush in the spring and summer. I bet fall weddings would be stunning too! We got married May 3rd. The team at Crystal Ballroom Charlotte was a dream to work with from start to finish. Our day-of coordinator, Katie, went above and beyond to ensure everything was organized and flowed beautifully. Katie was working weeks in advance to make sure all the details were taken care of. This was tremendous help since we live out of town and did not have a wedding planner. First, it’s beautiful. We did our ceremony at a Catholic church down the street and had our reception at the Rafters, but my favorite photos are by far the ones we took in front of the St Mark’s chapel- it’s so romantic! As a reception venue, it is very reasonably priced, and has everything you could need. We got ready in the adorable carriage house, and we also did my bridal shoot there a few weeks before the wedding- they turned out beautifully. Also, if you book with their caterer (The Flyin’ Lions), you get a discount AND support a good cause! But that’s not even the best part: their food is AMAZING. I am literally still dreaming about the salmon and mashed potatoes from my wedding day, and so many guests told me how much they loved the food. The taste testing was fun too, they have a ton of options! Also, Allison is the best coordinator EVER. You will love working with her, and every vendor I hired that had worked with her before told me the same thing! She is so personable and really gets to know you, and she will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. She is fantastic with communication; her responsiveness and helpfulness alone reduced my wedding planning stress. I also loved the preferred vendor list Allison provided; it made it a lot easier to narrow down our vendor choices! Allison and Debbie (from Flyin’ Lions) made our wedding and all the months leading up to it so special and wonderful; we cannot recommend them enough!

The space is very accommodating in all the most important attributes. Staff is ease to work with and very understanding of issues, front of house areas are always clean and well kept, back of house is very close to the event areas so staff does not need to walk super far for things like passed apps. The only negatives I have are the load in space and back of house space could be a bit better for large events. A dedicated catering kitchen would be awesome but I understand that doesn't work at every venue. There have been tables and or coffee shop supplies in the back of house area the last few times causing staff to have to work around these items.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue! As a wedding planner, I always like to work with venues that have checked all their boxes. Meaning, they have thought through everything that a couple could need at their venue. I love that they have tables and chairs already on site for couples to use, that way they don’t have to outsource them. Another thing that I absolutely LOVE about the venue, is that they have created the space in black and white. This is absolutely PERFECT for anyone who wants to come in to have their wedding/event and make it their one. In talking with Brittany, she explained to me, that’s exactly want she had in mind when they started to decorate. We had the opportunity to work at Magnolia Woods two consecutive weekends. The first week with Jodie one of the owners and Amy the Office Manager. The next week with Heather the other owner and Chris the Day of Coordinator. They were all extremely professional and made sure our couples were very well taking care of. During the week before both events, we had an on-site visit and communicated by email with Amy. She was always prompt with her responses and very accommodating. Needless to say, the whole team for both weddings were equally accommodating. Magnolia Woods also provide off-site catering as well. I would highly recommend Magnolia Woods to anyone looking for a venue for any type of event. Awesome team of professionals, great location, delicious food, and a very nice facility.
