In 1939 the Works Progress Administration built a timbered A-frame gymnasium of local stone and timbers - the beautiful structure that would later become the Longbranch Clubhouse. When the school district consolidated to a larger site, the Longbranch Improvement Club purchased the land and buildings. In 1956 rest rooms, upgraded kitchen facilities and a wooden floor were added. The Longbranch Clubhouse has held an astonishing variety of activities in its colorful history. High school basketball, wartime bandage rolling, huckleberry festivals, fund-raisers, basket socials, Sunday schools and funerals - along with the popular dances and theater events that formed the foundation of this community's social life for generations.

We also have 2 outdoor garden sites, used for ceremonies, parties, receptions, and cocktail hours. Woodland Meadow Farms, a first generation farming operation focused on the local economy and sustainable living, started in the wedding and event venue business with an offbeat wedding. In 2009, owner John Beal, a professional landscaping contractor, as well a longtime pro dirt bike racer, landscaped an aging tree farm to accommodate his sister's medieval-themed wedding. After he hosted that, he was encouraged to make it a full-fledged business and 2010 became the first season of weddings at Woodland Meadow Farms. Not just a farm. Not just a venue.
