The City of Des Moines offers an ideal location for events of any caliber. Our venues can comfortably hold anywhere from 40 to 400 guests with plenty of room for decorations. Have your choice of scenic locations in both rustic and contemporary buildings designed for versatility. The Beach Park Event Center has a wide range of open spaces for outdoor events. Our shelters and parks offer space for occasions from company picnics to summer birthday parties. Take your pick of picturesque locations whether on the beach or in a park.

Founders Lodge

Founders Lodge

The Founders Lodge is a small quiet space spanning the Des Moines Creek. This venue boasts gorgeous views of the Beach Park Meadow, Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains. With floor to ceiling windows, French doors to a wraparound deck and two small side rooms, the Founder's Lodge can easily accommodate smaller more intimate events. The Founders Lodge limits at 80 people per Fire Code.

    It was great getting to work with Cortney, Robert and the rest of the team at Des Moines Beach Park Event Center! They were easy to work with, responsive to our needs and answered all the questions we had regarding the venue. They followed up with us in a timely manner and followed through on what was needed for our wedding vision. We found their venue to be absolutely beautiful and it brought the vision of an outdoor/indoor wedding to life! We recommend this venue to everyone in need of an outdoor space or a combination of outdoor and indoor settings for a wedding. The team was wonderful to work with overall!

    The Des Moines Beach Park Event Center was such a spacious and beautiful venue for our wedding! Cortney and Robert were wonderful to work with and great at answering our questions, we received responses in a timely manner and felt like we went into our wedding event with all the info we needed. Their team helped prep our event beautifully and we had a wonderful time overall. We will definitely be recommending their venue to others and hope we can use them again in the future!
