One of the best parts is before your wedding day, you fill out a form telling her what you want including names of people to have in photos so you don’t miss anything during the chaos of the big day. She’s wonderful, makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and captures beautiful moments. I love the lighting she uses so that it’s not overly one style (such as dark and moody vs. light and airy). She just goes off the best lighting available in the photo and makes everything gorgeous. You’ll be blown away by her talents!

There aren’t enough words to explain how much A Tid Bit Bridal did for my wedding! Megan was my fairy god mother. She was able to make what I visioned for my wedding actually happen! We booked Union Mills while it was still under construction. While we were unsure what the final product would look like, we knew that we wanted to work with Niko. Turns out, the final product was gorgeous! And our suspicions about Niko weren’t wrong, either. He was generous and accommodating throughout the whole process. Nothing is cookie cutter. He wants the catering to match your vision 100 percent. Did we mention the food was delicious? Niko’s catering skills and having a kitchen on-site made for a great culinary experience. We are so grateful we were able to host our wedding in Downtown Frederick in a venue that perfectly showcases the town’s historic roots and charm.

Mike DJ'd my wedding in May 2023, and he is THE BEST. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Mike was very responsive, easy and fun to plan with, and great with communication leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we didn't need to touch base with him because we were confident he had everything covered. We had some interesting song requests, specific timing for certain songs, etc., and Mike handled everything perfectly. He was the perfect MC to help facilitate the grand march, speeches, dances, and dinner, and he kept the party going all night! We highly, highly recommend Mike!

We chose to work with Livvy following a glowing recommendation from our photographer… and we could not have been happier! From the start, Livvy was kind, warm, professional and communicative. She happily answered all of our questions and were impressed from the start. We loved being able to film our Love Story before the wedding, to also give us an opportunity to really get to know Livvy before our wedding day. She put our story together so eloquently and so quickly! We were immediately blown away with the quality of her work and the time it took her to get it to us. Livvy appeared genuinely excited and happy to be a part of our team as our wedding approached and continued to check in with us as our wedding approached. She brought this energy to our wedding day and it just truly felt like she was meant to be there. After the wedding, Livvy quickly put together our teaser video for us to enjoy before leaving on our honeymoon two days later. She simply nailed it and it held us over to when we got our final wedding video- which left us in the happiest of tears. Livvy told our wedding story in a way that just left our jaws on the floor. She really captured who we are as a couple, and we are just in awe of how eloquently everything came together. We are SO thankful and grateful we had Livvy as a member of our wedding vendor team. I can’t say enough good things about Glen Ellen Farm! The property is BEAUTIFUL and was so perfect in every way. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the house is beautiful, and Debbie is amazing. She answered all of my questions and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does. The tent, tables, and chairs were included which was a HUGE bonus for us. We ended up putting the sides of the tent down due to wind. Don’t know what we would have done if that wasn’t an option. They checked in frequently to see if we needed anything and handled all logistics behind the scenes so we could simply focus on enjoying ourselves. The service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. Communicating with Mason leading up to the day was easy, which left me feeling really secure about them as a vendor. They brought a team with them and they as well were fun and very professional. Our photos from the day are absolutely exquisite, and they didn't miss ONE moment! We also hired them as our videographer, and our highlight reel is something we watch quite often. They knocked it out of the park with that video. In conclusion, I feel so very lucky to have had them as our photographer and videographer and I will continue to refer business to them for years to come.

The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The staff is amazing and gives recommendations for vendors that frequent there and their coordinator we had, Maddie, was a god send for an unfortunate event with our original photographer and was in constant communication with us prior to the wedding. The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered by other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, two separate floors for the bridal party to get ready, a honeymoon cabin, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. The venue is gorgeous and the fountain in the background made the ceremony so peaceful and romantic. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%!

My team of DJs and I truly appreciate it. A little background on who I am and what sets Frederick DJs apart from the rest. Starting as a DJ as a kid, yes, a kid of only 14! I took a huge interest in the entertainment industry. It started a little before then, but that’s when I got into DJing. I fell in love with playing music for others while working at a roller-skating rink. (Wisconsin Sk8 University) I later moved on from the roller rink where I became a DJ assistant for a solo DJ who specialized in weddings. Let’s just day that gave me a whole new love for the job.

We recently had Robert DJ our June wedding. Pros were that he was on time and friendly. He handled little hiccups smoothly and w/o complaint. Prices are reasonable and he offers a lot of services, like ceremony recordings and fun add-ons. He really can be a one-stop shop for a lot of wedding entertainment. While I think he is a good all-purpose DJ, I'm not sure that he was the right fit for us in the end. Specifically our two biggest concerns were that 1) he didn't consistently use the language we had asked him to use to address guests and 2) communication leading up to the wedding was less organized than I would have preferred. In our case, we really prioritized communicating with vendors about our desire for an affirming, somewhat non-traditional wedding. From the onset when we hired vendors, we asked about comfort and experience working with a diverse range of guests and requested that vendors be attentive to using inclusive language, especially as it relates to including LGBTQ folks. In the case of DJ services, we requested he not use gendered language like "ladies and gentlemen" due to the gender diversity of our guests. We also had an integrated wedding party so we weren't using some of the traditional wedding party language. I get that this is a specific and maybe unusual request, so we wanted to be really sure our vendors were okay with it, and Robert was super friendly and agreeable when we talked about it. I think Robert's intentions were really good here -- he expressed a lot of desire to make sure he got this right and willingness to be careful. Maybe those requests were made too long ago though, because when we got to the day of, we had a lot of issues here. Our coordinator had to talk to him about using less gendered language, which did not seem to result in much improvement (there was definitely effort...at one point he said "ladies and....guests....esteemed guests" but then he went right back to "ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls"), and it was really frustrating for both us and her. He also told us we'd have a ceremony recording the day after. There was really no rush, but that was what he told us would happen. Instead, we got the recording a week later than he had originally stated, and we were not told it would be delayed until I asked twice. I think it's also worth noting that the ceremony recording did not include the music for procession and recession. (This is on us, we should have confirmed that would be included, but it was disappointing) Communication tended to be a little last-minute and unscheduled -- e.g., spontaneous phone calls rather than putting something on the calendar. Followups were sometimes required. He also texted me (bride) the morning of asking if he could bring an assistant and requesting we add a meal for that additional person. Not a big deal, but I do wish he would have communicated in advance/not while we were all trying to get ready. Otherwise, I thought/heard feedback that some of the music transitions were a bit awkward, but not to an extent that was too disruptive. None of these are big issues, but the multitude of small communication inconveniences and frustrations did add up to where I would not feel comfortable recommending Frederick DJs to a friend. Robert is nice, but I'm not sure he was the right call for our needs. He might be a better fit for someone else, particularly if you are looking to include a number of add-ons and want to use one, reasonably-priced company
