Imperia Lake Union is situated in former historic Lake Union Café, originally built in 1927 and converted to an event venue over 20 years ago. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . We are a new venue, but we love this special place so much and wanted to share its beauty with others. The ceremony space is beneath the canopy of an old-growth spruce tree beside a creek. We were married in this spot and it was truly magical! There is an open-air field just beyond the tree that is available as a reception space. We offer a bridal dressing room within a 10'x10' decorated "glamping" tent. We also have the add-on option of a 15'x20' event tent available (please see pictures in the gallery). If you're interested, we also have goats, pigs, chickens, and old farm implements available for photo opportunities. We also now provide string lights and electricity (suitable for a food truck) in the reception field!
