About this venue

St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

Pavilion Tent (Adjacent to Pavilion)

In the spring and summer months, this adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception making the Pavilion flexible to fit you!

This tented terrace offers flexibility for your event adding an additional 3500 sq ft of additional space for a meal, toasts, dancing, or cocktail hour. The tent has 3 wrought-iron LED chandelier's to provide ample light as you dance away into the evening. Tent sides easily open and close to fit the Washington weather to make it open and airy on a beautiful Summer day, or closed and cozy on a more rainy day. The tent is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens.

The picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. The remodeled downstairs reception or dressing area leads outdoors to a waterfront terrace, perfect for intimate receptions and gatherings.

Historic Boardrooms located in the Port Gamble Gen. Store building feature two rooms, one w/ a large vanity, and a private bathroom to get ready in.

Historic Boardrooms located in the Port Gamble Gen. Store building feature two rooms, one w/ a large vanity, and a private bathroom to get ready in. Brides and Grooms can book these rooms for up to 5 hours leading up to the ceremony time for getting ready in. These rooms are also a great place to start photos. Water views surround the conference rooms and are located a block from the Hood Canal Vista Pavilion.
