Founded in 2003, Essence of the Thymes is committed to providing extreme service and exemplary food, always served safely and tastefully. Owner Gina Omalanz stepped onto the catering scene with the goal to create a fresh new take on catering that provided delicious, restaurant quality food and service. Friends and family worked together to remodel a kitchen on the downtown Port Orchard Waterfront, and you can still find us there today! What started out as a dream has become a business that feels more like family. We welcome you to become part of the Essence Family!

Essence of the Thymes Catering was a wonderful company to work with. They were very professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The food for our wedding was absolutely delicious, our guests were all talking about how much they enjoyed everything. The staff was so professional throughout the event, and everything went so well. I would absolutely recommend them.

Essence of the Thymes really went the distance to make my wife and I's wedding a great experience. They catered (pun intended!) to our needs from the food itself and our dietary needs right down to how the serving ware and other dishes looked. Since we did a book-themed wedding, they decided, without us having to ask, to incorporate their own cookbooks into the overall display which really helped add that extra touch. Communication throughout the process was always clear and pleasant, and the staff at the event were amazing. 11/10 would recommend.
