I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. Even though our venue was farther outside Chicago (Indiana), she ran several venue walkthroughs in-person, attended vendor visits with me, and always accommodated my husband and I’s busy schedule. As Alexa started to step away for her maternity leave (which started right before our wedding date), she did an amazing job ensuring her team was fully prepared to handle last minute preparations and day-of responsibilities. The day-of team of 3 were awesome with completely handling all details A-Z so I didn’t have to worry about anything, even despite some last minute changes due to weather! Due to the complexity of our venue, its location, short timeline, and being from out-of-state, we are SO GLAD we booked Monarch for their full planning package and had the privilege of working with Alexa! It was sincerely our pleasure to have her bring our special day to life, she was a joy to work with and get to know. If I were getting married again, I’d book her services again no question! Breann did such a great job helping us plan our wedding! My wife and I weren't sure if we wanted to have a month of coordinator, but we are so glad that we hired Breann. She helped my wife and I plan table placement, decoration set up and tear down, and she was prepared for a lot of the little things that we hadn't even thought of. She even brought us a plate of appetizers during our post ceremony photos so we weren't starving before the reception. All of the organization felt like it came so naturally to her and we never had to worry about communication with our vendors or who stands where and when. I cannot say enough incredible things about Erin. Above and beyond does not begin to cover it! Look no further for any of your wedding planning needs. We hired Erin for our month of coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors. Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did! She did everything she said she would and then some. She reached out to all of our vendors, worked with us on our timeline (many times!), attended our rehearsal, and never got frustrated even when we had a lot going on. Erin felt more like a friend than a coordinator, and we are so happy we got to spend our special day with her. Our wedding went off without a hitch with Laury on our team. She kept everything running on schedule and made sure to have that schedule prepared way in advance of the wedding. She also made sure to take our plans into consideration when making the schedule and worked well with all our other vendors. She even had a few unexpected personal things happen (assistant didn't show, child needed a last minute sitter) but she didn't let any of those things impact her service or job performance. I would suggest her to anyone planning a wedding.

She didn’t try to break the bank when we were selecting vendors. Day of….i still don’t know what she did but everything flowed smoothly! She did everything in the background to make our day perfect! I don’t even know where to begin to thank Cylee for the amazing job she did at our wedding. I originally had another planner that made me dread planning my wedding. 3 weeks prior to the wedding I decided to drop the old planner and go with Cylee, who was introduced to me by my photographer Arleigh. From the first meeting Cylee left such a great impression on both my husband and I. She was so organized, professional , and had a clear list of what needed to get done. The 3 weeks prior to the wedding went by so fast, but Cylee made those last 3 weeks feel like such a breeze. She communicated between the vendors and us, and always kept us informed on every little step. She made all the calls and emails, which really helped us so much. The day of the rehearsal, she came with copies of the timeline for all of us. She went through every detail and walked us through the game plan of the day. Later that night she checked in with me to see how we were doing. Even just the small sincere gesture of a simple text with words of encouragement, was more than enough to ease our minds for the big day. I have no words to describe just how magical and perfect the day of the wedding was. Cylee came bright and early to help with decor, vendors, a stressed out bride and stressed out parents. She was always coming in to check up on me, while still coordinating everything else. She was literally with us every step of the way. Our venue required a room flip, and she handled it with such speed and perfection. When we were introduced and walked in to the dinner area for the first time, I could not believe how beautiful she had arranged everything. I had no plan for the sweetheart table, but she arranged it so beautifully I felt like I was in a fairytale. My husband is not much of the dreamer type, but even he said that, he finally understood what it felt like to describe something as magical and dreamy. Cylee did such an amazing job that I had many guest come up to me to say how wonderful she was. Everyone loved her! And We loved her! Cylee is so kind, sincere, organized, passionate, caring and overall just an amazing person to have in your life. Her planning services were worth every penny. Because of her, our wedding came out better than we had ever imagined, and we created memories of a lifetime. She exceeded every expectation and honestly you will not regret hiring Cylee.

We worked with Ashley for our past wedding we just did recently for Lauren & Dominic at the Drury Lane in Oak Brook, IL. There’s so much I can say about Ashley (owner of Every Little Thing). April was FANTASTIC!! I was unsure whether or not I wanted a coordinator- I had a hard time “giving up” control of my big day. When I first spoke with April- I knew that she was THE ONE! Kind, patient, understanding, and also a little bit of a perfectionist. ;) I hired April as “Day of Coordinator” only. April took everything I gave her on my wedding day and ran with it. She took my planning binder and I said “Good Luck!” She made it all happen! She quickly and effortlessly made my dream wedding perfect. She helped with decor, setting up, getting my dress on, helping me use the bathroom, putting my shoes on… anything you could think of!! And the professionalism and kindness was next level! A few days/weeks later, my bridesmaids told me about little fires that April put out that I had no idea about- problems with the DJ, the groomsmen trying to get drunk before walking down the aisle (April stopped them), and our Happily Ever After sign that kept falling. She handled all of this without me even knowing! The best decision I made (besides who to marry) on the day of my wedding was hiring April!! You won’t regret it!!

Veronica is truly the best wedding coordinator out there. She and her team went above and beyond and my wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Veronica was involved with the wedding planning months beforehand (unlike most wedding coordinators I spoke to!) and she was so detailed and organized that she truly put my type-A personality at ease!!! I knew I was in the best of hands after our first conversation and on the wedding day I was completely relaxed because I knew I could trust her to handle any hiccups. She also did my floral arrangements and was present at all the meetings with the venue and caterer to make sure that everyone was aligned on my vision. When she showed me the reception hall before my guests arrived it took my breath away-- it was even better than I envisioned!!! Her eye for detail is incredible and my reception decorations were breathtaking. I also have to acknowledge Veronica's assistant Sharae because she too was the best ever-- I definitely walked away from my wedding weekend with a new best friend. Sharae kept me calm and laughing on my wedding day and made the entire pre-ceremony experience SO MUCH FUN!!! Honestly, my wedding day would have felt much different if Sharae wasn't there. I actually got emotional saying goodbye because she was such an important part of my day too. I never thought I would grow so close to a wedding vendor, but I now consider Veronica, Sharae, and the entire Exquisitely Designed Events team like family.
