If you are considering hiring a coordinator, this is the company for you!!!!! I was hesitant at first to spend money on a coordinator given I had a day of coordinator through my venue, but as we inched closer to the wedding I knew it would be money well spent. I was placed with Brittany who truly is the best of the best at what she does. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, happy, and at ease before and during our wedding. We did the month of coordinator package and I have absolutely no regrets. Akua and her team were a dream, I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment we first talked, Akua made herself so available and went above and beyond - I was looking for a day-of wedding coordinator, and Akua was actively involved for MONTHS beforehand. Akua was always extremely knowledgeable and struck the perfect balance between giving me all the advice and help I needed while also centring what I wanted. We had our wedding spread out over two days, and I'm sure a ton of things went wrong, but as the bride, I had no idea at all because Akua and her team had such a great handle on things. I'm type-A and feel comfortable only when I'm in control, and Akua made me feel like I could just float through my ceremony and reception without thinking about a single thing other than having a great time with my partner and our guests. She was also just a joy to be around, best vibes! Honestly, best decision we made all wedding was working with Akua!

I hired Cassidy from Dusk to Dawn Events as my wedding coordinator and designer and it was truly the best decision I made for my wedding. Where do I start? From the beginning, Cassidy went above and beyond with everything. When I started off with my wedding planning, all I had was a Pinterest board and the ideas in my head. Cassidy took my ideas and added such amazing expertise to create a final decor design for my wedding that I absolutely loved. Cassidy was extremely attentive, responsive, and caring throughout every step of the process. She had all of the wedding designs easily accessible on her planning website, and walked us through every single detail. We hardly ever had any feedback because she executed our needs and wants so perfectly during planning. Throughout the planning process, Cassidy offered many brilliant suggestions for details or aspects of the wedding design that we didn't know how to answer. For the month-of wedding coordination, Cassidy was a pro at working with our vendors and ensuring that any final questions or requests I had were answered and taken care of. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Cassidy and her team! She arrived to our venue so early to personally decorate and coordinate with everyone. I had put my full trust in Cassidy when it came to the final venue set-up and decorations. I was in awe when I showed up to the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. Following venue set-up, she was in full wedding coordinator mode and ensured our entire day went smoothly. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because Cassidy made sure that everything was handled and kept us on schedule in the most seamless way. I cannot recommend Kristen Caputo Weddings & Events highly enough! My husband and I had a beach wedding last month and I was trying to handle everything myself, until I realized just how overwhelmed I was. Kristen had great reviews and after reaching out, I thought she had very fair prices for her services. I hired her to be my coordinator and I’m SO thankful I did! After every planning call with her, I would feel like a weight was lifted. She always had such helpful input throughout our calls and there are SO many things I would have overlooked without her there to guide me. On the big day Kristen and her Assistant Megan were AMAZING! I really thought I was going to spend the day worrying about if things were being set up the way I wanted them. On the actual day I wasn’t worried at all, by that point I had so much confidence in Kristen I knew she’d make it happen! And she did! My wedding was set up exactly how I wanted it and everything flowed so nicely! Megan waited with my dad and I before walking down the aisle and she was a lifesaver! She held all my things and helped me stay calm! Our ceremony turned out beautifully. I couldn’t believe how pretty it looked when I got to the aisle! It was better than I had hoped for. For the reception Kristen and Megan directed all our guests while we took photos. Then they made sure we got food and drinks and some time to ourselves before the socializing. Our reception turned out to be so much fun and all of our friends and family LOVED Kristen and Megan! They got to know our guests and they just felt like family celebrating with us by the end of the night! To any brides reading this in need of a wedding coordinator/planner- do yourself a favor and contact Kristen right now! My wedding was a beautiful, fun, and unforgettable day and I owe that to all of Kristen and Megan’s hard work!!! I couldn’t have done it without them!

She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. I feel so incredibly lucky to have worked with Andrew and A.Carey Events for my wedding! I quickly realized once I was engaged that I had NO IDEA how to begin to plan or visualize my day. My doormat says it best, 'running on coffee, wine, and the dog's time', but seriously I start every intro call with the disclaimer that you may hear the barking, snoring, or a squeaky toy in the background. I'm the twenty-something-year-old that's gone from throwing "Weddings" in her neighbor's driveway, to throwing them in some pretty amazing spaces. With over a decade of experience in weddings and corporate events, this isn't my first rodeo. Weddings are sort of my thing!

I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!

Shaymah's adaptability in the face of unforeseen circumstances was exemplified when the ice cream truck mistakenly went to the wrong venue; she swiftly coordinated with them, ensuring they reached the correct location without a hitch. Additionally, Shaymah displayed tremendous thoughtfulness by ensuring all our gifts were safely secured and put away after the festivities, giving us one less thing to worry about. Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.
