Through Alisha, I was introduced to quality vendors she personally worked with, so I knew I would be surrounded by people I could trust on my special day. Alisha even caught a scheduling mistake in my DJ's contract. Alisha is very organized, kept track of all my vendors' payment dates, and kept me on budget. My wedding day was so beautiful and STRESS-FREE, and I have Alisha to thank for that. She even helped me with the bustling of my dress (my dress had 5 layers to bustle, so you could only imagine how difficult that task was). When the bride shared her vision, I immediately thought of Ashanti because I’ve worked with her before and absolutely love her work. She’s one of the rare designers who can balance creativity with realism while delivering flawless execution. For this wedding, we had to transform an inspiration photo into a glam-style red wedding design, and Ashanti absolutely delivered. The bride wanted florals showcased inside acrylic tiers for the cake—a unique and challenging concept. These acrylic tiers had to be sourced from London, measured precisely, customized with Ashanti’s florals, and transported from Virginia to Florida and survive 3-4 days. Not only did the floral design make the journey, but it also held up beautifully throughout the wedding. The result? Stunning florals that tied the cake seamlessly into the overall wedding design. The bride was overjoyed, the guests were amazed, and I was blown away. Together, we created a once-in-a-lifetime piece for a deserving couple and seeing the bride’s ecstatic reaction made all the effort worth it. Ashanti’s talent speaks for itself, but what truly sets her apart is her professionalism. She’s communicative, detail-oriented, and incredibly down-to-earth. She knew exactly how to bring the vision to life and worked closely with me to ensure every detail was perfect. Honestly, I couldn’t have pulled this off without her expertise. Good on J.J. Ash for requesting reviews from vendors and guests—it’s a smart move that highlights the joy they create for couples. I’ve seen Ashanti and her team work tirelessly through weddings, sometimes staying until the very end (I’m usually there past the cake cutting, haha!). By the time the dust settles, the couple is married, their photos are stunning, and their videos capture every magical moment. Reflecting on those moments reminds me how much of a privilege it is to be part of such special events. As a vendor, I appreciated how communicative and organized Ashanti was throughout the process. My husband and I had a beach wedding last month and I was trying to handle everything myself, until I realized just how overwhelmed I was. Kristen had great reviews and after reaching out, I thought she had very fair prices for her services. I hired her to be my coordinator and I’m SO thankful I did! After every planning call with her, I would feel like a weight was lifted. She always had such helpful input throughout our calls and there are SO many things I would have overlooked without her there to guide me. On the big day Kristen and her Assistant Megan were AMAZING! I really thought I was going to spend the day worrying about if things were being set up the way I wanted them. On the actual day I wasn’t worried at all, by that point I had so much confidence in Kristen I knew she’d make it happen! And she did! My wedding was set up exactly how I wanted it and everything flowed so nicely! Megan waited with my dad and I before walking down the aisle and she was a lifesaver! She held all my things and helped me stay calm! Our ceremony turned out beautifully. I couldn’t believe how pretty it looked when I got to the aisle! It was better than I had hoped for. For the reception Kristen and Megan directed all our guests while we took photos. Then they made sure we got food and drinks and some time to ourselves before the socializing. Our reception turned out to be so much fun and all of our friends and family LOVED Kristen and Megan! They got to know our guests and they just felt like family celebrating with us by the end of the night! It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the wedding planning process and to get lost in timelines and decisions, but having Johanna as a coordinator enabled us to focus on the exciting and fun stuff while making sure the little details fell into place. She is an excellent communicator, both with us and our vendors, and so meticulously organized. We didn’t stress one bit in the lead up to our wedding - and that’s because we knew we could rely on Johanna every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, Johanna and her team were on top of every detail and ensured the venue looked stunning, we (the couple) and bridal party were happy, and vendors had what they needed. Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. I cannot state how tirelessly she and her team worked so when I did meet them in person but felt like I was meeting friends who knew exactly what I wanted. You will not regret working with Kawania and Howerton Wooten events!

So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.

My daughter and I hired Chloe Deal to be our onsite day-of wedding planner and she was excellent before, during and after the big day! Pre-wedding, we had two zoom meetings to review what the plans were and what she would be doing to oversee it all. Chloe's communication assured us all the details would be completely taken care of on wedding day. The day of the wedding, we had a big surprise. An unexpected storm whipped up just as we were about to begin the outdoor ceremony. Chloe and her assistant quickly rallied to make last minute adjustments moving tables and displays under the reception tent, coordinating with the vendors on the change of plans and remained calm throughout it all. After a bit of insanity as our guests ran from the outdoor ceremony into the tent, Chloe and her assistant went into overdrive drying off chairs and getting them moved into the reception area which was a huge undertaking. The groomsmen were supposed to help but they were the only ones not under umbrellas and were absolutely soaked. Chloe easily helped guests find their seats and kept us all on schedule with the reception events of introductions, dances, happy hour, dinner, cake cutting, send off photos etc. Post wedding, we had to be all cleaned up by 9am the next day so the night of the wedding, Chloe and her assistant moved heavy tree log displays back to the woods, put everything that we needed to save into our cars or the locked space until we could pick it up the next day. Chloe's performance as our wedding planner was truly impressive as she thought of every detail and despite the unexpected weather, my daughter and son-in-law had a truly magical day complete with double rainbows! I would highly recommend her services to any bride and groom to-be!

She’ll answer every question you ask and remember the answer when you’ve forgotten it on the big day. She’ll be your biggest cheerleader before, during, and after your wedding. It’s also the little things that Jami thinks of! She had the creative idea to take instax film images throughout our wedding that we’ll now get to cherish forever! We already are! It means so much to us to know that Jami and Will, her husband, had our back throughout our day. We honestly can’t believe how well the day went, but it wasn’t luck or just our planning, it was mostly due to Our Curated Design magic! At the end of the night when we were exhausted (we’d left it all on the dance floor) and we couldn’t help to pack up our decor and things like we wanted to, Jami and Will took care of it with smiles! They were such a calming presence to share the end of our night with. Not to mention, everything got back to our home expertly packed! I would recommend Our Curated Design over and over!
