I won't lie in this review and say that I did not think I needed a wedding planner when my now wife and I were about 8 months out from our wedding date. Steph is absolutely the most worth it investment we made for our wedding. From day 1, you can tell that she is going to make your wedding day and lead up to it as easy and seamless as possible. I genuinely do not think our wedding would have been as smooth or fun if I had to worry about making sure everything was in place and on time. Steph goes above and beyond what you will typically see for a wedding planner, going so far as to meet with your vendors multiple times in the months leading up to your wedding and take A LOT of the worry and stress off of the couple. She was absolutely one of the easiest and kindest people to work with, guiding our choices and timeline with her plethora of experience. Additionally, she does not push anything on the couple that they are not comfortable with, and is always open to having extended conversations about certain topics and being willing to share ideas. I cannot overstate how crucial she was to our wedding, and how much her help changed my mind about needing an amazing wedding planner like Steph. If you want someone who will always be on your side and working to make your day special, she's the right person for you!

Cannot recommend the services provided by Autumn and her team at Serenity events. Extremely professional, and VERY easy to communicate with. Fast and direct communication is a huge thing for us- so we cannot stress how much we appreciated this aspect when working with her.. Autumn is also hands on and is able to jump in and pivot whenever needed. Working with Red Canyon Events and Ruby was by far the best decision we made for our sanity and our wedding. It never crossed my mind to hire a day-of-wedding coordinator until a friend said it was a must – thank goodness we found Ruby. After interviewing a couple planners, Ruby demonstrated she was capable, creative and detail oriented. I was concerned about my center pieces because I wanted to make my own, but Ruby assured me she could handle set up of all 13 center pieces, place cards for 95 people, and the high boy center pieces. She did that in record time and it turned out beautifully. On top of that she ensured our big day ran on-time with our wedding party and ceremony. We didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of! Ruby met with us numerous times over the course of 6 months to give constructive feedback and ensure we were on track to have a gorgeous and fun wedding. One thing Ruby made clear is that she is there to handle EVERYTHING, and that the Bride and Groom won’t know about any hiccups until after the wedding. That was our experience and we are so grateful to her, all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. She even handled an uninvited guest with professionalism and delicacy. My favorite thing about Ruby was how organized she is – she showed up to both our venue walk-through and rehearsal with a binder of notes and was answering questions about details I forgot about. She took charge and helped every process run smooth. She also reached out to all our vendors to connect with them and guarantee everyone was on the same page. Ruby is such a pro, she has already worked with most of our vendors which was a bonus. We loved working with Ruby and are so grateful for all her hard work and dedicate to our special day.

We hired Jacinda for month/day of coordination and it was honestly the BEST decision we made while wedding planning! We got to work with Jacinda and LeAnna and they were absolutely amazing! They were so organized and easy to work with, we had full faith in them to help us execute the perfect day. Added plus, they are so fun to hang out with! LeAnna was on top of everything the day of, if something went wrong we have no idea. I was a DIY bride and LeAnna made my vision come to life! We also decided to sneak into the bridal suite for a private dinner (absolutely recommend doing that!) and LeAnna made sure the room was set so nicely for us, with little tea lights and everything. We worked with Veronica for our small, intimate wedding (40 people) using her month-of microwedding package. We got access to her planning software (even before the month-of), which allowed us to easily keep track of everything we needed to do to stay on track. Veronica was happy to answer any questions we had in the portal before the month-of if we needed any help. During the month-of, she was super helpful in finalizing all the little design details we hadn't thought of (chairs, linens, lighting, etc) and especially nailing down the timeline. During the day-of she was great working with all the vendors and ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Veronica & team for any help with your wedding!

Brooke once told me during one of our many consultations, that the name of her business was “practically perfect” because nothing is ever 100% perfect, but her goal is to get it as close as possible. I didn’t realize how right she would be. First off the vendors she chose- the catering, the dj, the hair and makeup artist, the bartender, the florist… every single one of these vendors came through in a big way for me! They all knocked it out of the park, and that’s mostly because of Brooke! She knew what she was doing when she chose them, and she handled pretty much all of the communication. I just had to give approval and tell them exactly what I wanted, and Brooke made sure that happened. You just have to trust that you chose her for a reason and that she is going to make the right decisions. Every single thing about my day exceeded my expectations. Now let’s talk about her professionalism. I had someone at my wedding be… not so nice to her. Not Brooke’s fault. She handled it with grace and professionalism both during and after the situation, and made sure it caused as little of a hiccup as possible during my day. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that Brooke was there for me every single step of the way taking care of things. I’m sure there’s things she tackled that I don’t even know about, and for that I am grateful also. Brooke, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me. You never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed which put me at ease during this process. I am so grateful for you, my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you!

I was that person that did not think I needed a wedding planner! I decided last minute I needed one and I had interviewed 4 people and Christena was the only one that made me feel comfortable! Christena helped keep me organized, in control, and confident that I would be able to get through this! She brought things to my attention that I had no clue I needed to do. During the rehearsal dinner she got everyone in line and made sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing. The day of the wedding Christena and her assistant Jill knew literally handled everything from making sure my vision was brought to life, to making sure everything ran accordingly to plan, and making sure all items that were mine were organized and set aside for my family to gather at the end of the night. I cannot sing Christena’s praises enough! You are getting more than a wedding planner with her! If you are on the fence about this do not be, it is the best money well spent!!!

We couldn’t have pulled off our special day without Janet as our day-of coordinator. In the months leading up to our wedding, Janet was in constant communication with me and made a point to check-in to make sure I was feeling stress free throughout the duration of the planning process. She answered my texts any time of day or night! Janet’s close attention to details, ideas, patience and hard work are what sets her apart from the rest. I showed her pictures of what I envisioned for my décor on the big day and she executed flawlessly. I didn’t think it was possible, but she brought my ideas to life even better than I could have expected. It was a HUGE sigh of relief arriving to the venue and seeing all of the décor, tables, and miscellaneous items set up hours before our ceremony was set to begin. Throughout the evening, Janet made sure to see that I was enjoying the evening and always had a drink in my hand. She worked exceptionally well with the wedding party and the other vendors I had hired and made sure that the night flowed smoothly. Even if you’re doing DIY décor, florals, etc. like I did and think you don’t need a day-of coordinator, I’m here to tell you that you absolutely DO. Initially I intended to plan all of my wedding on my own - and in many ways I did. We were married at the Customs House in Portland, a venue that is a blankslate venue. As I neared the day however, I began to worry that there were aspects of the planning that I overlooked. I hired The Cosmos at their Month-of package level taking all of that worry out of the process. They took care of all of the things I did miss - called out that there was no plan for trash receptacles, revised the number of glasses rented, added bathroom attendants, adjusted the number of staff etc, but an unexpected element (and maybe the most important) is that they helped me to manage difficult family members. They figured out that this is where a lot of my stress was coming from. I was so grateful to their team for minimizing overall stress. I highly recommend!
