Hi! My name is Melissa, and I have been photographing weddings since 2009. I know wedding planning can be stressful, so my goal is to make this part of your wedding stress-free! I am going to provide you with beautiful images full of emotion that will also bring you right back to that moment when you view them. If you are looking for stunning images that feel effortless, from a photographer that feels like a friend, then I am your photographer! Each wedding inspires me to tell your story through photography. I also take great pride in the editing process. I truly enjoy turning the photographs into genuine works of art.

Awarded Best of Zola
Melissa photographed our May 2022 wedding, and I would definitely recommend her! We first contacted Melissa after a friend referred us to her.  Melissa was consistently communicative, agile, and punctual throughout the entire process.  Her vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless.   The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product.  Melissa’s eye for detail is astounding, and beyond her technical expertise, she is a joy to work with.  We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos from our magical, big day.  If you’re looking for a cheap photographer, Melissa definitely isn’t the one for you. But if you value photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further.  Plus, she offers something that not all photographers can – true artistry.  Our wedding photos are completely unique to us and our event, we framed a print that hangs over our couch and receives frequent compliments. We also purchased a fine art album which is quite simply a work of art. We will cherish these photos forever. Thank you, Melissa Marx Photography!

J.FLYNN

5.0

Philadelphia, PA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,500
  • Serves Sugar Loaf, NY

I began my career a decade ago. As a tour photographer, I began accompanying musicians all over the world. Little did I know at that point the low lights, high energy, and late nights would translate well into my career as a wedding photographer. My start as a music photographer gave me the confidence to navigate even the most challenging and unpredictable situations, and I use the same philosophy now while photographing weddings: keep calm, stay observant, and follow the action.

Awarded Best of Zola
My wife and I worked with Jess over this past year for engagement photos and coverage of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). The engagement photos were done in NYC and the wedding was at a venue outside of Philadelphia. It was a true pleasure to work with Jess. She is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, communicative, and prepared. The quality of the work in her portfolio speaks for itself but I cannot overstate how thrilled my partner and I are with the photos. She managed to capture so many lovely moments and the spirit of the day. The intimacy and beauty she brings out with her portraits are astounding—I have never felt more comfortable being in front of a camera and I have never loved the result so much. The variety of the media brings a beauty to the detail I didn’t think I would care about—the place settings, the venue, and everything else look great and are considered in composition and lighting. None of the photos delivered are there just to check a box. The amount of preparation and work she puts in for each job is evident just by the uniquely specific nature of her questionnaire—her questions were helpful for us in planning! She was always quick to email us back when we had questions for her and helpful in ways we never would have expected—good news if you don’t know how to pin a boutonniere, Jess does (and she brought extra pins). The amount of choices for any type of wedding vendor is overwhelming. You would be lucky, as we were, to choose Jess.

Hi there! I'm Nia, a wedding and elopement photographer based in Boston, MA but obsessed with traveling. I love the days when I stumble upon a new landscape, learn something new from a stranger or aimlessly drive until I end up somewhere decent. This is why I love storytelling. My favorite stories to tell are by far the love shared between two people. Storytelling and making a moment last is what drew me to photography. Documenting your day in an honest, soulful way that shows who you are is what I strive for.

Awarded Best of Zola
We have nothing but wonderful reviews for Nia Kovacev Photography! Nia was so friendly and fun to be around and made both our engagement photos and wedding day photos feel effortless. She was so on top of preparation in the months prior as well, reaching out when timely and always super quick to answer questions. Day of she and her second photographer were fantastic and both made sure we got all the shots we wanted before leaving. Sneak peaks were made available just two days after the wedding and are BEAUTIFUL, I absolutely cannot wait to get all of them back!!! Without a doubt, go with Nia!

Specializing in documentary-style photography, I capture the genuine moments and emotions of your wedding day. I am committed to ensuring that every couple and intimate ceremony feels seen and preserved. Using both 35mm film and digital photography, I aim to create timeless images that reflect the unique essence of your relationship.

Awarded Best of Zola
I reached out to Stef a couple of days before my last-minute City Hall ceremony scheduled for 9:30am on a Friday. That’s too early and too last-minute for many wedding photographers, but Stef was such a great sport. She took a few posed photos of the group then followed us on a walk up the Bowery and through Chinatown to get to our brunch spot, snapping fantastic documentary-style photos all along the way. We wanted to remember the moment for what it was, without staging shots. The photos were exactly what we hoped for.

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Emma Cleary and her team have been phenomenal to work with. Emma responds to e-mails quickly & has provided useful feedback throughout this process. When we had to change our reception date due to COVID, she worked with us to ensure that the dates aligned. Massimo (photographer) and Edison (videographer) have been amazing to work with and they shot our micro wedding. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is stressful, but Emma and her team made this process a seamless. The photos and videos are beautiful and we will treasure them. Thank you again! I initially had first hand experience with Jamaal's work while being in a good friend's wedding last year. A this wedding Jamaal was great. He paid attention to detail, was prompt and on time, didn't need to be told to capture certain moments, etc. When it came time for my big day, I knew I had the perfect person in mind. My wife and I decided to go the conservative route and have a small wedding w/ reception dinner at a restaurant. However, based on our wedding photo sneak peaks that Jamaal provided after; you would think it was a bigger wedding that what it actually was! Which is exactly what we wanted. He captured every moment perfect. My wife and I are happy to have worked with J. and hope to use him in the future for whatever occasion we have coming up next! Thank you again J!

My name is, yensy marquez Born in the Dominican Republic where I spent my early childhood before moving to the United States at the age of 5. I have always had love for the arts and music. I spent my teenage years drawing cartoons and Japanase manga. I discovered my love for photography during my late teenage years when I got my hands on my first cellphone with a camera. I was always the go to picture person during family events and gatherings. Though they were admittedly average at the time, everyone loved them and always encouraged me to get a real camera. I finally saved up for one and never looked back.

Tuan and his team are absolutely amazing! I was a bride whose number one priority for my wedding (aside from getting married) was photography. Tuan took the time to chat through the process, answer all my questions, and provide advice based on his expertise. On the day of our wedding, he was professional, calming, and creative. And our pictures were absolutely stunning! I cannot recommend Tuan B & Co enough- hire them, they are the best!

I am already dreaming about all of the heartfelt details of your story, and I cannot wait to connect with you!

You know those first few months that you fall in love & everything is so wonderful & terrifying & just so damn GOOD? It's that “new love” feeling & I’ve never been able to replicate that feeling with anything else, except photography. Your wedding day tells the story of your love. From that “new love” to the more comfortable kind, it is the culmination of all those moments leading up to “I do.” I consider myself the narrator of that day, telling that story and documenting your connection through my photographs.

Jenny is an absolutely wonderful person and amazing photographer. So kind, friendly, organized and talented. She is a pleasure to work with always. She listens to your needs, guides you through the process, and delivers work that showcases all of the love and fun of your day.

Jess Spoll Review We cannot recommend Jess enough. She’s an absolute treasure of a human being who is now one of our good friends, in addition to being a magnificently talented photographer. Her documentary-esque style paired with her stark contrast and beautiful, earthy colors make her work some of the most visually stunning images we have ever had the pleasure of laying our eyes on. If you’re getting married, we would absolutely, 1000% recommend Jess Spoll. Sure, you could hire some other wedding photographer that captures all the smiles and sunshine and happiness that your day brings, and you’d be satisfied. However, if you want to relive your wedding day in all its beautiful, loving glory, hire Jess Spoll. She has this way of telling a story through her images in a way that communicates a sense of ease, sincerity, and above all else, warmth. She snapped moments that we didn’t even think would be moments worth capturing, and yet managed to make those particular pictures some of our favorites from our wedding day. We want to take her with us everywhere we go and have her document our lives-. Jess was extremely easy to work with. I am usually a pretty shy person in front of the camera, so for her to get me to naturally come out of my shell was nothing short of amazing. Working with Jess literally made us want to get more pictures done despite having already gotten married. We highly recommend her and cannot speak highly enough about her style, professionalism, and dedication.

Veronica is a super talented photographer and so easy to work with! We were a covid wedding who unfortunately had to cancel our 2020 celebrations and reschedule on a whim to 2021. Veronica honored the original contract and helped us seamlessly transition to the new date, which brought simplicity to an otherwise stressful situation. Her approach as a photographer is hilariously involved, she's not just the person behind the camera but also the best hype woman. Relive the moments as you experienced them. When it comes to your wedding, what are you most excited about? The ceremony? Dancing the night away with family and friends? Indulging in the emotion of the day? The photos are important so you can relive each memorable moment. But the moments are only memorable if you take the time to experience them in the first place. This way, you'll not only experience the moments of your wedding day - you'll remember them well. Who better to photograph your experiences than a husband and wife team who understands the importance of this day. And the moments that shape it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do we even begin with Ishan and Preeti of Ishan Fotografi?! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I (and all of our guests!) would highly recommend Ishan Fotografi to any couple looking for talented, thoughtful, creative, adventurous, understanding, professional, responsive and downright fun photographers! I first got introduced to Ishan & Preeti a year before my wedding at another wedding they were shooting. I really liked their vibe/personality while working with the couple - they were really thoughtful in their approach and shots they took, had great ideas/visions and were really great at demonstrating poses for the couple because they're a couple themselves! I immediately reached out to them the next day to get to know them a bit more. Ishan and Preeti were very communicative from the beginning - answering any of our questions via email, text or phone call; inviting us to their place to see their work; asking us how the wedding planning was going; etc. We got along with them instantaneously and knew we didn't want to book anyone else. Not only were Ishan & Preeti great photographers, but also GREAT company! We loved every minute of our engagement shoot with them. It can get a little awkward taking photos in public, but Ishan and Preeti made it super fun and relaxed. That kind of energy and vibe cascaded throughout the wedding weekend. We were so appreciative of this, especially because they knew how to help us navigate stressful situations as they arose throughout the weekend and made sure our photos still came out great! They also took the time to walk around our venue and scope out the best places to take the different types of photos we wanted. We received our photos very quickly after the wedding. There are so many amazing shots we are having a hard time picking our favorites!! Definitely a good problem to have :) If we ever are in need of photographers again, we know exactly know who we'll be calling!

Stay Gold Tyler

Celebrating the wholeness of life and the perfection of love I truly ask you to "stay gold"! My beautiful clients are couples of all genders, orientation, and identities who have found each other and want this moment in time captured in heirloom quality. We leave the churches and the hotels and venture into wild world, up the mountains, to the islands, into the forests, and out into the deserts. Stay Gold Tyler delivers stunning portraits, family heirloom formals, and b-roll candids that will have you laughing and "aww"ing for a lifetime. Tyler splits time between South Florida, New York City, and Seattle.

My husband and I got married on a hiking trail near Seattle in 2015. We lived in Nashville, and had never even been to Seattle, yet we had a trip planned there and decided to elope. I found Tyler's photography website online, and immediately could tell his style was exactly what I was looking for. The entire time leading up to our trip, Tyler's communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure our elopement went exactly like we wanted it to. He even let me ride with him to our elopement spot, as my soon-to-be husband rode with our officiant (we wanted to do a first look, so I didn't want to ride in the same vehicle). We didn't have a specific plan for that day, but Tyler facilitated it so effortlessly -- as if it had been planned all along. He suggested a first look at the base of the hiking trail, and after that we hiked together until we found a good clearing in the woods for the little ceremony. When that was over, we hiked the rest of the way to the top, where we took a few more photos and signed our wedding license. Tyler even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate! Tyler, his assistant, and our officiant were the only ones there besides my husband and I, and we enjoyed the day together as if we had been friends all along. Now that I've made it clear how highly I think of Tyler's communication, suggestions, and helpfulness, I'll add that his photography is incredible. I wasn't sure how the pictures would turn out, as our elopement day was overcast and seemed to be on the brink of rain-- but as soon as I saw them for the first time, I was blown away. In the years following, several people have told me our wedding photos are the best they have ever seen. Tyler took a beautiful location, and truly did it justice with his camera- a feat not every photographer can achieve. (And to think half of the photos were taken WHILE he was hiking alongside with us!) If you want a personable, professional, and helpful photographer who can deliver the photographs you'll cherish for the rest of your life, look no further. Tyler is your guy!!

Valerie Caviness Photography is priceless! I LOVED being photographed by her! We had a wonderful experience with her. With all the nervousness and excitement, and wedding day craziness, having Valerie as our photographer with her awesome energy helped put my husband and I at ease. Our bridal party and wedding guest enjoyed being photographed by her too. Most importantly, she captured all the joy and special moments of our union beautifully. This was the best day of my life and the best part of our day was Teryn flying into Las Vegas to shoot our Elvis elopement. The photography is seriously the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen! Make sure you check them out on there instagram. Her energy is so amazing and she made us both feel so comfortable and natural. Her and her husband are both incredible people and totally out of this world creative artists. A few months later we got married again in Brooklyn and threw a big party for family and friends and her husband Dakota shot that party and the photos are incredible and he was so lovely to be around and made us feel so comfortable, we got married at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar and he out did himself with the amount of photos we got and how artistic and cool they look! I recommend them to everyone I know. So do yourself a favor and hire Love Like Ours to do your photos!

Wedding photography is so much more than snapping a few frames. It's about being a part of the experience, making connections, and meeting new people. Whether it's laughter, joy, or romance, there is nothing better than being able to show what a couple's love is all about through images. I care about the moments first and foremost. Let's create some magic, make memories, and have an experience that you won't soon forget!

I can't say enough about John. He was amazing to work with for my July 2020 wedding. Even during covid he made it happen! He was very professional and personable. I absolutely love our pictures! Pierce photography was great to work with. We had two shooters and added the photobooth option. During the photos Jason was a natural photographer not forcing the poses and allowing for our personalities to come out. Throughout the ceremony you didnt even know he was there but yet he caught so many moments that otherwise we would have missed. Still to this day we look at our album and are amazed at the quality of work we got staying in our budget. Wouldn't change anything and would definitely use Pierce photography in the future for more events.

My passion for documenting love stories is fueled by my own life. Every milestone captured and stowed away for me to reminisce later in life. Photographs are invaluable to me. They preserve my childhood memories, my life adventures, moments with loved ones, and my past + present self. At your wedding you'll find me getting to know your closest peeps, fulfilling every photo request from your mom or grandma, and definitely singing along to any song I know on the dancefloor. When I'm not shooting, you can find me snuggled up in bed watching my (current) favorite Netflix show!

If I could give a 10 star review I would . I will tell you a little bit of myself so you can understand why i love her work so much. Me and My Husband are the definition of young love i met him at 16 and i was married by 18. Just two teens growing together in love fast forward to our 10 year anniversary. i knew i needed the perfect photographer to capture our special day. My first impression of Daniella was wow i love how detailed and personal it was. It started with questions about our love story so she can better get to know us. From that moment on i Knew she was the right photographer for me. Daniella was everything I thought I wanted and more ! I met Daniella in person for the first time on my wedding day but I already felt like I knew her from our previous conversations and all the questions. I felt like I was prepared and aware of everything that was going to happen that day. Daniella took the time to get to know my bridal parties names and their relationships which my bridal party loved because it felt so personable. Daniella created a color coded picture schedule which helped make the group pictures quick and painless. When I want to relive the moment her pictures remind me of every single detail of the day I truly love it . She loves what she does and you can see it the amazing photos she takes . By the end of the night she was FAMILY ! I will book and rebook Daniella for all my photography needs !

There is a dusty old photo album that I’ve looked at hundreds of times. It is from my parents’ wedding more than 40 years ago. It shows me a little piece of my history every time I look at those images. When I lost my father, I realized his memory lives on in those images for me. It’s like this perfect window into the past that I want to give each and every one of my wedding clients.

When we received our wedding photos from Monika, my husband and I sat for hours looking through them, laughing, crying, smiling, reminiscing and enjoying moments exquisitely captured by Monika and her team. In the end, we looked at each other and said: "Let's get married again!" Part of the magic of our day was Monika's ability to capture forever cherished moments. The look on my husband's face of me coming down the aisle, my mom watching me dance with my dad, our friends cutting a rug on the dance floor, our families gathered together-- all of the things that we didn't get to witness on the day, but were beyond thrilled to see. We knew from our initial conversations with Monika that she would bring her utmost professionalism and talent, but also her genuine excitement to be there with us on our wedding day. She made the whole process a breeze. She made us feel comfortable during our engagement photos (which can sometimes be awkward) and helped us find our flow so we were ready for the big day. She arrived to our wedding venue early, with her shot list and the full day plans in hand, ready to go. She captured photos of all of our friends and family-- giving our wedding guests beautiful mementos from our day. Monika delivered a "sneak peek" album the day after our wedding (AMAZING!) and she sent a tear-jerker slideshow with some of her favorite moments along with the full gallery. Everyone that has seen the photos is in awe of her work. We can't recommend Monika enough, I've already sent her information to my recently engaged friends, only to be able to see her work her magic again! Thank you for everything!

I stay behind the camera because I'm more than a little introverted. That is, until I get to know people. Then I open up and we can talk about movies, music, dogs (I'm happy to show you pictures and videos of my rescue dog). I love what I do because I get to capture moments between you and the most important people in your life that you'll be able to relive for decades to come!

I’ve known Casey for many years and always look forward to working with him. He’s incredibly down to earth, very kind, quiet, and funny. On a day that is full of emotion, anticipation, and nervous energy, Casey’s relaxed temperament & sense of humor helps couples to relax and brings out their natural smiles & expressions. He has years of professional experience and knows exactly what moments to capture. Casey is genuine and has no show off attitude about him—he’s the perfect choice for real people who want to spend their wedding day with a great guy who will put them at ease & make them look awesome.

I’ll try to keep this short: I’m a silly, introverted, rule breaker with a sincere whimsical streak. Originally from Iowa with a decent chunk of time spent bopping between Minneapolis and Oregon, I love weddings + photography (duh), my nephew, a stiff gin + tonic, propagating too many damn houseplants, and my cats. Last I checked I’m an INFP, Enneagram 4, and Capricorn which makes me quite the pragmatic daydreamer + observer: as unnecessarily prepared as a Boy Scout, curiously creative, and hella laid back, all of which uniquely prepares me for the ebb and flow of a wedding day.

I can't say enough good things about Caitlin! My partner and I wanted more non-traditional portraiture for both our engagement photos and wedding and Caitlin just immediately understood the vibe we wanted. She's great at getting to know her clients and making you feel comfortable in front of the lens. Similarly, she just melts into the background during the wedding and captures everything you wanted and more, all without being front and center. You won't regret hiring her and I'd say book her while you still can, because she's only set to blow up more :)

I looked into several photographers, and the low budget ones were basically bad, and the good ones were thousands of dollars. Adorable time gave us top quality photos at a reasonable price. We went out to Robert Moses beach to shoot our engagement shot, it was easy to meet up and communicate with him. He was very professional, and it was a breeze to do business. The contract signing went without a hitch. Ive posted our engagement shoot photos so you can get a good idea of the quality. My moms an amateur photographer and she really likes them as well, which is surprising since she is very picky. I'll probably update this review when the wedding pictures come in.

When we are not working we are outdoors or sitting by the fire. We love traveling to places where the earth is at its greatest. Our superpower is that we know what you are thinking. lol. Our style is Honest, Emotional, Intuitive, and Real. We love traveling anywhere in the world, as long as we're together!

I have the unique experience of being a wedding planner that works with JAG Studios and this past year as a client renewing her vows! I can tell you that they are truly gifted artists and are able to read their clients exceptionally well. They create and forge lasting bonds and capture not just the wedding but every single special moment and detail flawlessly. Every client is blown away by their work, and if your looking to have an amazing photo experience, then JAG is who you should go with. As a client, renewing my ten-year anniversary vows, I wanted a photographer that could capture the years and moments that it took myself and my husband to get to this point. To be very honest, I was pretty freaked about having my photos taken; I am a behind the scenes gal! However, both Jacklyn and Chris not only made us 100% relax, but I barely knew they were taking photos, and when all was said and done and the showed us the end product both my husband and I cried for days because it was more beautiful then we could have ever imagined. They captured who we were as a couple, and as individuals and every moment, moments I did not even think about will forever be in an amazing photograph. Jaclyn Watson Events

I created Dear Heart Film + Portraits in college when I realized just how much I love photographing other people. It started with fun-loving seniors and now has developed into capturing adventurous couples who are so unashamedly in love.

Shelby was absolutely amazing! From the beginning, she was organized, professional, and made us so incredibly comfortable. Her photos are amazing compositionally, and she was great at directing us to get the best shots. We chose her because her photos have a natural vibe and warm tone. We knew we could rely on her to capture the day perfectly. So happy we chose her, highly recommend!

We (Melissa & Michael) became wedding photographers because we truly believe we have something different to bring to the table. Our goals are simple: to help you relive each moment of your wedding day every time you look at your images, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and blend into the crowd like we're your guests. We pride ourselves on open & honest communication with our couples, a seamless booking-through-wedding-day process, super speedy photo delivery, and lending a helping hand in any way we can.

Melissa is now part of the family! She’s so easy to work with, has a wonderful artistic touch with just enough input you don’t feel like she’s interrupting your day! The photos all came out so good we are having trouble choosing which ones we like the best to frame in our home. We can’t wait to work with Melissa in the future and would highly recommend her

Hello! My name is Katie, and I am the wine-loving, adventure-seeking, memory-making human behind the camera. I am passionate about supporting small and/or local businesses, especially when I travel. You can usually find me trying out a new brewery or restaurant or exploring a different trail leading to some new view!

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Katie for our wedding photos was our best decision! We would hire her again in a heartbeat. For the entire year-and-a-half that my fiancé (now husband) were engaged, Katie met with us periodically on the phone to check in about specific topics such as scheduling or a family photos “shoot list”. We got our initial response within a couple days of sending our inquiry, then met on Zoom that week to meet her. She asked about our relationship, our personalities, etc. to get to know us, which was great and made everything more personal. It was easy to book a second shooter through Katie to get more photos, since she will find and contact another professional photographer for you, which is a step out of the way while you’re busy wedding planning! Our wedding day/photos being taken: What we loved about Katie is that her photography style is that her photos don’t feel awkward or too posed, and they feel more journalistic. There will of course be lots of formal portraits of the couple and wedding party, but Katie does an amazing job to get genuine smiles and laughs out of everyone. She is super funny, kind, and down-to-earth. Katie got along great with the wedding party and made everyone feel a lot more relaxed on our wedding day. Photographers are such an important part of the wedding day and keep the day going smoothly and on-time, and Katie did an exceptional job. Our edited photos: My husband and I were in LOVE with our edited photos from both our wedding and our engagement photoshoot. I am usually not the biggest fan of photos of myself, but when I looked through our wedding photos, I loved every single one. We immediately put together photo albums for our parents and had such a hard time picking our favorites! We would put all 1000+ photos in there if we could. I still look at these photos almost daily, and can’t wait to have nicely framed ones in our house. Professionalism: Lastly Katie was extremely professional. She wrote a contract, kept notes of everything so that nothing was forgotten, and was always on time or early for everything. You could tell she really cares about every single client, and puts the work into getting to know each couple far in advance before their wedding day. Altogether we would definitely recommend any engaged couple to hire Kate Elaine for wedding photos. We rate her 100/10 and could not have picked a better photographer!

We had the pleasure of hiring a documentary-style wedding photographer for our special day, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their ability to capture candid moments and genuine emotions was truly remarkable. The photos tell a story that goes beyond posed shots, giving us a vivid and authentic memory of our wedding. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and they have a keen eye for capturing the little moments that often go unnoticed. From the laughter shared between guests to the heartfelt glances exchanged during the ceremony, every emotion was beautifully documented. Not only did they capture the essence of the day, but they did so with a level of professionalism and discretion that put everyone at ease. They seamlessly blended into the background, allowing for natural interactions and genuine expressions to shine through. Their post-processing work enhanced the photos without veering into heavy editing, maintaining the genuine feel of the day. The color palettes and tones used in the final edits were tastefully done, adding to the overall storytelling. We wholeheartedly recommend this photographer to anyone seeking more than just pictures – they deliver an emotional journey through their lens. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who can capture the true essence of your day, this documentary-style photographer is an absolute must.

Keith shot our wedding in early November and we could not be more thrilled with how our photos turned out! He was awesome through every step of the process - communicative, helpful, thoughtful. We were nervous about photos since neither of us loves having our photo taken. Keith was great in making us less nervous and not forcing us into any photos that felt strange. Most importantly, he truly captured the emotions we felt that day and the joy we felt in the room during our ceremony and reception. Our guests cannot stop commenting on how great the photos came out. Highly recommend working with him if you have the opportunity - you won't be disappointed!

Wedding photographs are timeless and irreplaceable so as a photographer, I feel I have a great responsibility at hand. I try my best to work with clients on their needs, provide flexible coverage hours and I work within their budgets. I am drawn to those unguarded candid moments. It is these moments along with many others I feel should be captured.

I'm a wedding & lifestyle photographer currently living in upstate New York and serving the greater tri-state area. I love photographing special moments between people and exploring new places, it's that simple. I'm also a huge yarn nerd, iced coffee addict and a lover of all things the color red. Let's connect - I'd love to hear from you!

Claire was amazing!! She is so sweet and personable, right from the very first email exchange. Her rates are very reasonable and transparent, and she even helped us customize a package that worked best for our wedding. We had two pre-wedding sessions to go over the details, list of photos needed, and all the logistics, and she was very accessible via email throughout the process. She emailed me two days before the wedding letting me know that she had scoped out the venue and the surrounding area to find good photo spots, which made the day of so much smoother. We did our formal photos before the ceremony, and she corralled the family and wedding party professionally and kindly. She kept our spirits up and she wasted no time. Her assistant was also very professional and friendly, and they collaborated so well to get maximum photos at every angle. Claire made sure we had plenty of time for just the grooms, various locations and poses, and we got to have fun and create some really unique shots! During the ceremony I didn't even register that she was in the room, and yet we have beautiful photos of the entire thing, so she did a great job of staying out of the way while also getting all of the important shots! Throughout the cocktail hour and reception Claire and her assistant split off to maximize coverage, but I felt that one of them was always close by for a good shot. They also pulled us to the balcony to catch some beautiful shots at sunset, and those were absolutely worth it! Throughout the evening, if I found myself dancing or talking with someone I hadn't gotten a picture with yet, I could easily gesture or call to them to get our picture, and they also got plenty of other action shots. We received a "sneak peek" of about 50 photos within 24 hours of our event, and the full set of photos within 2 months. She gave us the time we needed to finalize our photo album, and had it published very quickly. We are so glad we chose Claire, she captured our day perfectly and was such a pleasure to work with.

Hi! I grew up in NY and came to Milwaukee 8 years ago - you could say it was for love. We have settled in and embraced our new community. I have been so lucky to always have working with people at the forefront of everything I do. From teaching to non profit work, photography allows me to do all of those things. I LOVE being outside and exploring new places. We live on the shores of Lake Michigan and visit the beach regularly year round. When I am not frolicking and photographing amazing people, I am usually spending time with my nutty little family outside.

Chelsea is an absolute dream! She has an incredible eye and captures the big moments, but also the intimate and special moments throughout the day. Her photos are stunning and so so special, as she really gets to know you and your family. Chelsea will find the beauty in and celebrate what is special about/unique to you as a couple, and the results show that. She is so kind, easy and fun to work with, and was a real support throughout our whole planning process. Especially since we got married during the pandemic we had a lot of questions and unique hoops to jump through. Chelsea was always willing to talk through details (even those not photo-related!), share suggestions, etc. throughout our planning process. The day of Chelsea was a joy to have around and her positive energy and willingness to do whatever it took for the perfect shot (including walking backwards for several blocks during our mariachi band parade through the streets) is unmatched. I recommend Chelsea Matson Photography to any and everyone- you will not be disappointed!

I grew up in Texas and married a beautiful brown-eyed Jersey girl on a mountaintop in the Hudson Valley. I have the greatest job in the world. I’m lucky enough to witness tears of joy, celebrations of life and the continuation of family legacies on a weekly basis. I put everything I have into my photos, and I’m humbled and inspired by couples who trust me to tell their story.

Lev was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! His photography skills are beyond talented and his approach to setting up shots is very different than the traditional wedding photographer (with so many "planned" shots and people standing in a line). It was this unique approach that drew me to asking him to photograph for our big day...and luckily, he was available! Plus, at the end of the day, the photographs are one of the few tangible items that one will have to remember the big day. I cannot recommend Lev enough. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their photographer and have all of your married friends envious that they did not have him for their wedding!!

Cheryl and Alyssa were so wonderful to be with on our wedding day, and they made everything feel so easy and fun. Beyond being the best and sweetest human, Cheryl also has such an incredible eye! I'm a hybrid film + digital photographer who loves squishing baby cheeks and is terrible at making the bed. I'm a glass-half-full kind of gal who loves naming and caring for my plant babies, creating new cocktail recipes, the color yellow, and twinkle lights. Collaborating with clients to make images that tell your story is what drives my art. I strive to be inclusive, so if you aren't seeing yourself reflected in my portfolio, I aim to change that to make sure others feel seen too. I'm a sucker for weddings that include pieces of family history and love creating images that will be dog-eared and adored for generations to come.

Liz was our wedding photographer on 10/20/18. She has a unique eye and is a master at her craft. Liz was wonderful to work with and makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. We were instantly comfortable with her (even my hubby who tends to feel awkward in front of any camera!) I will always recommend her to anyone and everyone I can!!!

I want to cover your day in a way that highlights the joy and sincerity that surrounds you and the people you love. Some emotions are unbridled, but most are nuanced and fleeting. When you look back at your set of images, I want you to be transported back to that day and to have those feelings rekindled. My role is to be an observer and a listener. The less time I spend interrupting, the more time I can spend watching, waiting, and capturing the moments that should be remembered. If I’m there to record it, it’ll be without printed pages from other photographers you’d like to see imitated. I'll be there as me – and I’ll be capturing you.

Awarded Best of Zola
My search for a wedding photographer was pretty much a full time job. In fact, it was harder finding a wedding photographer than it was finding a man I wanted to marry. After spending hours and hours searching for the perfect wedding photographer, a google search found me Katie and I knew I had to work with her. From day 1 she was so easy to work with and was willing to work with me on my budget. I was extremely particular when it came to my photos and from the engagement photos to the wedding photos, she really hit it out of the park without me having to describe every little thing. The photos invoked the emotion/feeling I wanted from them and I particularly was wowed by her black and white photos. She clearly knows what she's doing and was able to work efficiently and work around a ton of sudden changes. I was a bundle of nerves on my wedding day and really valued her calm, peaceful demeanor. She truly has an extraordinary style and eye for photography and she's my #1 recommendation for brides looking for timeless wedding photos that transcend what's trending today. We've since worked with her for family photos and she wowed us once again. Honestly I'd have her photograph every momentous occasion of my life if I could. If you go through her portfolio you'll see all different styles of weddings but each photo is stunning. God forbid if I ever have another wedding, partnering with Katie is a no-brainer.

I've been in love with the art of photography for as long as I can remember, and I'm truly blessed to be able to pursue my passion every day. Growing up all over the world (Sweden, India, and Denmark to name a few!), my love of photography grew from my desire to capture the places and people I wanted to remember the most. What I love most is the incredible honor of being part of your special day and capturing the deep emotions behind the photograph.

We were so fortunate to come in touch with Nithya through Zola! When I found out in early September that things fell through with a local photographer for my October wedding, I emailed 10 photographers on Zola, desperate to find out about their availability. I had a reply from Nithya the next morning, and after a wonderful chat, she became my new photographer! I loved her enthusiasm and how she talked about her work and the types of photos she wanted to capture that day. Many guests have mentioned how she was always in the background the entire evening, totally focused on her work. We found a gem in Nithya and we can't wait to look at her photos!

We want to create authentic images for couples in love! We value your time and we want you to enjoy working with us from day one. From the beginning stages of planning, until long after your wedding we are here for you.

I loved everything about working with AK. Their style fit my wedding perfectly. They helped with little details and were so easy to work with. I also really liked that they have been photographing weddings for their own companies for years. Who doesn't love a good rebrand. On our wedding day, they were prompt and efficient. They did not miss a shot and when I got my photos back later I could not believe how many memories they were able to capture. THANK YOU for making my wedding day perfect.

My wife Nicole and I love to travel and are huge foodies. We have a dog and enjoy finding new hikes to take him on as much as we can. We are very family oriented and enjoy having game night with friends whenever we can :)

Matt and Nicole photographed our NYE wedding in the Catskills and they did a wonderful job! The pictures turned out beautifully. We were impressed with how quickly they were able to get our group photos done even though we had a big wedding party. This was especially appreciated since we opted for outdoor photos and it was cold! They were also very communicative throughout the process, including leading up to the wedding and during the wedding day. Despite our large wedding (185), they captured almost everyone in attendance in at least one picture. We know we’ll really appreciate that in the years to come as we continue to look back at the photos in our album.

Hi! My name is Nina, but my business goes by Film & Frond Photography! I’ve been passionate about photography for over a decade, and my love for the craft has only grown as I’ve delved into the world of film photography! I officially launched my business last October, and have shot several weddings on my own, as well as second shot numerous weddings along side other photographers. I provide timeless and artful documentary style photography services for weddings, elopements, and engagements/couples.

I originally booked with Nina for a fall photoshoot with my (at the time) boyfriend. Little did I know that Nina was in on and helping orchestrate the biggest surprise. Nina seamlessly transitioned a “normal” couples photoshoot into a perfect surprise engagement. The pictures we got back from that afternoon/evening were better than I could have ever dreamed. It was such an easy decision to book Nina for our wedding in August. She is so easy to feel comfortable around and perfectly captures the love and energy between whoever she is photographing. I would recommend Nina in a heartbeat to any bride who is looking for a photographer.

I've been shooting unique, non-traditional, very-traditional, queer, straight, weird, normal, sexy, just-plain-fun weddings for over a decade now. Don't think your wedding falls into that category? Don't be so sure. Your unique love deserves to be documented whoever that may look. If you want bad-ass photography that stands out, all while having fun doing it, we're what you've been looking for. Let's connect. We'd love to hear your love story.

I haaaate having my photo taken. I was super anxious about the whole process going into it. It takes a certain amount of trust to let someone photograph you... Jay and his Bellocq team were A from start to finish. We were blown away by A) the sheer amount of photos given back (they don't cap their packages at certain photo counts) and B) how seamlessly the entire collection flowed together from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be re-booking them for our family photos (first baby on the way!!!) in the future. Jay is incredibly kind and fun to be around, and just puts you at ease. That is the first thing you'll notice when you meet. Can't recommend Bellocq enough!!!

It may sound corny but I LOVE love! Every love story deserves to be celebrated. I love and accept any client without discrimination. I proudly serve all gender identities, sexualities, races, cultures, religions, bodies, and abilities. Your love is welcome here! I am truly honored to capture your special day and celebrate with you the beginning of this new chapter in your lives. I love capturing their couples connection and the genuine connections with their family and friends. I love hearing about your story - from dating to proposal and everything in-between!

Wow. This woman is not only a great photographer but an all-around great person. Just my upfront vibes from her made me feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot. She gave us a suggestion of a location and she really helped us out when it came to different poses that would work and different photo ops. I was so excited when I got the engagement photos back and when she arrived at my wedding venue the day of the wedding I knew that I could trust her to capture our wedding beautifully. I got some sneak peaks and I am in love. I cannot wait to get the rest of the photos. I would hands-down recommend her as a photographer to anyone! I found her on this app and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my wedding.

I want to capture all your in-between moments, those are my favorite, the way you guys sneak looks and steal kisses. I don’t want to be just another person who shows up and waves a black box in your face. I want your photos to represent your effortless connection, the closeness with your person, and all the other things that make you guys YOU! I am inspired by your love and I want to capture YOUR raw and real story. I want to tell it through my photos. And the fact that no else has been in my shoes, I see the world through eyes that no one else has. That’s what makes me different. Also NO TRAVEL FEE anywhere in the states!!

We got married in June 2022, and even now looking at our photos and video has us in disbelief at how Ruzin beautifully captured our special day. It’s like we’re viewing someone else’s wedding, but it’s actually ours! Throughout wedding planning, she went above and beyond for us and we can’t truly express our gratitude. She takes the time to get personal and get to know you well and understand your vision to help take it to the next level. We’ve seen many wedding photos, but hands down ours were the best. Choosing her was the best decision we made!

Hi! My name is Katie. I am a young photographer who truly enjoys freezing moments in time. I truly believe photos encapsulate our memories, raw emotions with loved ones and can last forever! My photography journey started 6 years ago when I first realized my true passion in life, taking pictures.

Katie, the owner of KAP, is one of the most talented, kind souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She was the photographer at my friend's wedding, so once we got engaged, I couldn't think of anyone better to shoot my engagement and wedding celebrations. Katie's creativity and unique eye creates stunning images that she edits beautifully. She knows how to capture the emotions of the day and develops stunning images that I could not be happier with. When it came to our engagement and wedding pictures, Katie took the time to get to know us and learn about our vision for the day. She went above and beyond with her time and energy with impressively quick turnaround time getting our pictures back to us! She made sure to get all the portraits we asked for and more! She is easy to work with and super supportive on the day of the wedding. She made us feel so at ease while she took our pictures and the proof is in her work. I would recommend her to anyone.

We are NJ wedding photographers who enjoy capturing life’s timeless moments for you to cherish. We’re New Jersey natives, a husband and wife duo, raising our little girl and Sheepadoodle pup on the east coast. Your love knows no bounds and we would love the privilege to get behind the scenes of your love and capture the raw, organic, and intimate moments. We love weddings for what they represent. Two people giving all of themselves to each other for the world to see.

Alberto and his assistant photographer brought the ultimate experience to our New York City wedding day on 02/24/24! From the very start we knew we wanted Alberto (we call him Chris) to shoot our wedding because of his beautiful film photography & style to his work. He’s professional, educated, passionate, creative & intentional in every detail of his work. When we hired him in November 2023, we had 4 calls where we discussed details, plans, vision, & what to expect. He knows his craft very well and is always making sure his couples are happy and comfortable throughout the process. Him and his assistant photographer were with us from Getting Ready to First Touch to the Altar and lastly, our party! They move efficiently & proactively, never leaving room for error and always leaving time for preparation & fun! I would hire Alberto & his team 10x more, & we cannot wait to see the full gallery. The few snippets alone took our breath away, we can’t even imagine all the hard work they’re putting into our photos. If you hire Alberto, you will not be disappointed!!!

Why, hello there. I'm the creative behind the lens. I am a Canadian who pursued his true love, got married and found himself in the United States. It turns out, it can take some time to receive permanent residency, which led me to pick up a camera and fall in love with the art.

Zhaun is absolutely fantastic. He's professional, easygoing, and SO SO talented. We couldn't be happier with how our engagement and wedding shots turned out. We highly highly HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want to be left speechless by your photos!
