Photography isn't just about taking photos for me. It is my true passion. With my background in nursing, I am made to connect and touch people's lives and through photography, I hope to do just that.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl for our engagement shoot & wedding and we could not be any happier with how all our photos came out! I came across her Instagram randomly while searching for a photographer and knew after our initial consult that she was the photographer for us. Aside from the fact that her work is beautiful and she really captured our vision, she was amazing in other aspects as well. She was professional, very responsive throughout the whole process, and on the day of the wedding she really took charge and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. In addition to that, she’s so kind and always offered help/gave suggestions in other departments not photo related. During my wedding planning I’ve inquired with so many vendors, but finding a vendor like Cheryl is not easy to come by. I recommend anyone looking for a photographer to book with her, you won’t regret it!! We really hope we get the opportunity to work with her again in future :)

From the moment we booked Cheryl Betances Photography, they were quick, helpful, and supportive every step of the way. Cheryl was willing to chat with us months prior to the wedding about any wedding-related questions or concerns we had. On the day of, she was an absolute delight - bubbly, fun, and her beautiful photos truly captured the joy and love of our special day. My husband and I were so lucky to work with Cheryl for our wedding and engagement photos! Cheryl went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident, and we were so impressed by how detailed, prepared, responsive, flexible, and kind she was at every step. Cheryl made the effort to continuously check in on how we were doing, learn our friends' and family's names, and make sure we were feeling relaxed, prepared, and comfortable in front of the camera and for our big day. Cheryl and Alyssa were so wonderful to be with on our wedding day, and they made everything feel so easy and fun. Beyond being the best and sweetest human, Cheryl also has such an incredible eye! She had amazing recommendations on where to take our photos, adjusted perfectly to accommodate lighting conditions the day-of, and captured so many beautiful moments of warmth, love, and joy! Cheryl was amazing to work with. From the very beginning of wedding planning to the end of the big day, she was extremely attentive, trying to get a good understanding and feel for the style of photos i wanted, which I appreciated. I felt more then comfortable with letting her do her thing and going with the flow. She made the day go by so easy and the photos are absolutely stunning. They are so beautiful and exactly what I asked for. My guests had nothing but nice things to say about Cheryl. 10/10 recommend!!
