Laura received her training through assisting some of NYC’s top fashion, editorial and art photographers. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and blogs including Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Grace Ormonde, Martha Stewart Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, Junebug Weddings, and Green Wedding Shoes. Laura has a conviction. That is: that wedding photography be about exceptional imagery, period. She is inspired by documentary photographs with multiple layers of interest, and in both candid and composed images that are sincere and lasting representations of people and of a time.

    We feel so lucky to have found Laura. Laura shot our small wedding(35 people) and captured the day beyond our wildest dreams. She is professional, kind and unbelievably talented. We wanted to focus on candid moments as opposed to staged group photos and what she captured was nothing short of magic. She has provided us with memories to last a lifetime and we are forever indebted to her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Laura. Book her- you won’t regret it!

    Laura is wonderful to work with! Laura's style of photography is what had originally drawn us to her; her ability to capture candid moments and how she always seems to get the perfect lighting! The photos she took completely captured the overall warm and loving vibe of our wedding. She must be some sort of magician... or just the best possible wedding photographer... Booking her was easy. She was easy to get in touch with and was always prompt to respond. I'm glad we booked her early to lock in our date. She is a very popular photographer and she books up fast! We met Laura before our wedding to go over the details of the venue and timeline of the night. She is a pro so she can make any venue, even the warehouse we booked, look bright and not dark and dingy. Day of, Laura came happy and ready to shoot. Our portraits with parents and the bridal party were not only beautiful, taken in a field, but also super fun! Laura knows how to make you feel good about yourself when she's shooting you! She was also making jokes which helped make us all comfortable. The ceremony and reception pictures were just breathtaking! She captured how funny our officiant was, our special "I do" moment and of course our first kiss as husband and wife! During our reception, we had circus performers lead the guests in hula hooping and juggling... Laura was able to get some amazing action shots on the fly! Overall, Laura is the absolute best. She was the perfect photographer for our special day and I cannot imagine having someone else in her place! She is so talented, sweet, punctual and professional; all things you want and need in a photographer! We love her and will be hiring her in the future for family portraits!
