Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.
My philosophy around photographing my clients is always putting your comfort and your memories at the forefront of the entire experience. What that means is that while I am taking your photo, I am also working to provide a calming environment and positive energy that allows you to focus on your authentic moments!

My half day package is ideal for those couples looking for something simple, while still being able to capture the main events of your day. If you plan on a shorter reception, or aren't interested in getting-ready photos, this might be best for you! I always recommend this package for folks who are on a tighter budget, but still looking to capture the heart and sentiment of your celebration.

Regardless of how early you begin your day, or how late your festivities run, I will be there to capture things naturally, and will work to create a timeline that flows easily for you.

Full Day Elopement Package
Peak pricing $4,000
My Full Day Elopement package is ideal for those having a celebration with multiple locations involved. If your ceremony is outdoors, or at City Hall, we have enough time to capture phots before, portraits following the ceremony, and a possible reception to follow! Similar to my larger wedding packages, this full day coverage is intended to take the pressure off of you with creating a strict timeline, and just let the day flow more naturally.

The best money we spent!
From the first email, Marilyn was warm and welcoming! And that spirit stayed with us through planning, zooms, and the whole day of the wedding. Of course, her work speaks for itself, and i think you can feel the love and emotions she captures through her lens. She captured so many special joys and moments, I feel like I am reliving our wedding day over and over! I think Marilyn's pricing is fair and well worth the money spent. We went with the additional film option and the film shots are absolutely my favorite! Thank you so much, Marilyn!

My husband and I just keep reflecting on how lucky we are to have had Marilyn as our photographer! Not only are these photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives, but she was wonderful to have on our special day. She brought so much joy and positive vibes. Wow WOW!! We are beyond grateful to Marilyn for capturing our joint proposal so beautifully! I couldn’t say better things about Marilyn if I tried. She was the first photographer who’s portfolio we fell for in our search, and while trying to budget and explore other options, we made our way back to Marilyn and questioned why we ever even bothered looking anywhere else. We did a round of engagement photos with her first, after an initial zoom to meet and get to know her. From the zoom alone we could tell right away what kind of sweet, wonderful, magical person she was. I felt like I was talking to an old friend immediately. During our engagement shoot, which myself and my now husband were SO nervous for (we are both awkward and camera shy, and I don’t know how to stop running my mouth during photos because of it) she made us laugh SO many times and immediately melted our anxieties away. We knew we made the perfect choice in a person to take care of us on our wedding day in that moment. We have so far received our previews, and we are simply in love. Marilyn captured intimate moments, fun moments, and beautiful, emotional moments that helped us feel like we were reliving our day all over again. She guided us through the day, took us to the best spots, got the photos we asked for, all without either of us having to think about a single thing or logistic at any point. She was on it. She is and was such a treat and added the kindest most comforting attitude and energy to our day, and all of our family and bridal party agree along with us (we got quite a few “where and how did you find her??”s). We also added a second shooter via Marilyn (who was also sincerely lovely) for just one hour, during our pre-ceremony and ceremony, for a little extra coverage and timeline speed, and a roll of film which was so much fun too. If you love artistic and stylized photos, and are seeking someone with both a great eye and wonderful, calming presence, I mean it, look no further. We are so happy we found Marilyn.
