My experience with Kelsey and her team at Beauty & Bridal Philly was everything I could have hoped for as an anxious bride who doesn't know the first thing about hair styling and makeup. I met Kelsey over the phone to see if she was the right fit and she immediately met me with confidence and put any of my worries (covering up acne, keeping a curl in my hair which does not like that, etc.) at ease. As we got closer to the wedding, my number of services kept changing as bridesmaids and family decided whether or not they wanted their hair & makeup done as well and Kelsey was able to accommodate every change I threw her way with grace and ease. She was incredibly easy to work with. About a month before the wedding, I met her for a trial and she executed my poorly explained vision PERFECTLY. I am not good at describing what I want in terms of hair & makeup but she still knew exactly what to do to make me look and feel gorgeous. (I forced my fiance to take me to dinner afterwards because the glam could not be wasted!) My favorite thing though, was her ability to chat and make me feel comfortable in the moment. I was so worried I wouldn't get along with my makeup artist, but Kelsey has a glowing personality and was so easy to talk to during the service. That more than anything convinced me not to worry on the big day. And on the wedding day, she delivered. I had poor weather, very misty & wet, and still forced everyone outside for the ceremony. My dress may have gotten muddy but my expertly done hair & makeup held strong and lasted the entire night. I cannot thank and recommend Kelsey & her team at Beauty & Bridal Philly enough - they helped make the wedding morning super fun and easy and helped all my girls look incredible!

Kelsey was the absolute BEST to work with. I don't think I can ever get my hair/makeup done by someone other than Kelsey because she absolutely nailed the look I was hoping for. She was so accommodating throughout the entire process and even traveled to NYC for my hair/makeup trial. The day of our wedding, she was so fun and positive - she brought the best vibes. She is incredibly talented, listens to feedback to make necessary adjustments, and is so intuitive with the looks that you want and what looks best for your skin/hair. I was truly blown away by my wedding makeup/hair and she helped make me feel so special on my big day.

Kelsey was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we reached out, she was professional, super responsive, and so helpful with all of our questions—whether it was over email or text. At our trial, she gave great advice ahead of time about styles, lashes, hair extensions and accessories clips, which made the whole process stress-free. She did an incredible job working with both me and my wife, accommodating our different styles. My wife went for a more natural, barely-there look, while I wanted soft glam, and Kelsey nailed both perfectly! On the wedding day, she showed up ready to go and made the whole getting-ready process so easy and fun. Best of all, our hair and makeup held up beautifully all night long—through all the hugs, dancing, and happy tears! Beyond her talent, Kelsey just fit right in. She was so easy to talk to and immediately felt like part of the family while we were all getting ready together. I can’t recommend Kelsey enough. If you’re looking for someone talented, professional, and a joy to work with, she’s the one. 10/10!

I hired Kelsey for my November 2024 wedding and she and her team exceeded my expectations. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good my hair and makeup looked the day of my wedding. I was admittedly nervous scheduling my trial because I realized the salon is not in Philly, but in Quakertown, which was about an hour drive. However, when I met Kelsey, I was reminded of why I booked in the first place - her personality is so warm and welcoming, funny, and puts you at ease immediately. I had the same exact reaction the morning of my wedding. I received hair and makeup services and my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG had their hair styled by Kelsey's associate. I thought everyone looked gorgeous and as this was one of the more expensive vendors I paid for myself, I did feel like my money was well spent. If you like full, full coverage with heavy foundation, etc I don't think this is the vendor for you. However, I think what Kelsey did with my makeup was even better because it looked so natural, but still looked like I was wearing the right amount of makeup. On top of my hair and makeup already looking perfect in my opinion, it happened to be snowing/freezing rain the day of my wedding and all of our photos were taken outside. My makeup did not budge! I touched up my lip gloss that was about it. My curls fell slightly because of the rain, but I was still very impressed my hairstyle lasted at all because of the weather. Overall, if you're on the fence about whether you'd like a professional to do your hair or makeup for your wedding, I would highly recommend someone like Kelsey who will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself and take the stress out of doing it yourself.
