Hi! My name is Nina, but my business goes by Film & Frond Photography! I’ve been passionate about photography for over a decade, and my love for the craft has only grown as I’ve delved into the world of film photography! I officially launched my business last October, and have shot several weddings on my own, as well as second shot numerous weddings along side other photographers. I provide timeless and artful documentary style photography services for weddings, elopements, and engagements/couples.

Through the combination of using both the latest technology in photography gear as well as vintage film cameras, I am able to harness the nostalgia and dreaminess that is inherent to film, while still making sure to capture the session or event with fidelity! Beyond my love for photography, I also truly love connecting with people and have the best time helping my couples celebrate their love! My goal is for my clients to feel like I’m their friend who is sharing in their joy, not just a paid vendor simply pressing a button.

Where do we begin! Nina and Will at Film and Frond helped ensure our NYC elopement went perfectly to plan, and we can’t thank them both enough for everything! Our photos are incredible and we will treasure them forever as perfect keepsakes of our special day in NYC. As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. On the day of the elopement, Nina and Will met us early in the morning at our hotel, and were the perfect companions for us venturing round NYC for photos before our City Hall Ceremony. They are both the sweetest, most authentic people and there was zero awkwardness. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about being in the front of the camera, but with Nina’s help we forgot we were being photographed at all and simply enjoyed the day. We love the photos which have been delivered, such a beautiful variety of shots in Dumbo, at Brooklyn Bridge, City Hall and in Soho. Opening our full gallery was like being back in New York, and took us right back to the magic of the day. Nina and Will, we cannot thank you enough not only for your insane photography skills but for being such fantastic people to spend our elopement with! You helped make the day what it was and we are forever grateful you’ve helped preserve our memories so beautifully. We cannot recommend Film and Frond highly enough!

Nina helped photograph an engagement shoot for my fiancée and I. She was a pleasure to work with, and the photos from that shoot are truly spectacular––we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Can not recommend enough!

Nina is not only amazingly talented at what she does but she’s also an amazing person. If you’re camera shy like we are she will make you feel comfortable and insure your photos will turn out beautiful. She has a true talent for capturing how the day felt and the candid moments that you never want to forget. We are forever grateful to Nina for the beautiful memories she captured for us. I originally booked with Nina for a fall photoshoot with my (at the time) boyfriend. Little did I know that Nina was in on and helping orchestrate the biggest surprise. Nina seamlessly transitioned a “normal” couples photoshoot into a perfect surprise engagement. The pictures we got back from that afternoon/evening were better than I could have ever dreamed. It was such an easy decision to book Nina for our wedding in August. She is so easy to feel comfortable around and perfectly captures the love and energy between whoever she is photographing. I would recommend Nina in a heartbeat to any bride who is looking for a photographer.
