From my first moment as a wedding photographer, I knew I wanted to kick tradition to the curb. I was tried of seeing wedding photography that excluded the communities that I hold closest. I work hard to form a real connection with each of my clients to craft an experience that captures their unique spirit.

I prioritize personal connection. I meet with all of my clients in person at least 2 times (once for elopements within a short timeframe). I want to get to know you so that I can capture your day in the most authentic way.

    Ashley is so perceptive and talented! I told her a little bit about us and our style and she created the right balance between moodiness and fun that we wanted. She always got back to us just under 24 hours and answered every question that we had. She is dedicated to her clients and their needs. I enjoyed being in her company because she made us feel comfortable. She understood our needs and never pressured us to do anything out of our comfort zone. We are a more laid back, care-free couple, so we gave Ashley lots of space to experiment and it definitely paid off. If nothing else has convinced you, we have already booked our 1 year anniversary photos with her and I will continue to go back to her for any event that should be photographed.

    There truly aren’t enough good things to say about Ashley!!! From the second we reached out to her about photographing our elopement, her professionalism, communication, and creativity were 10/10. She offered so many great ideas for photo locations (including locations for an included mini engagement photoshoot) and came up with contingency plans for our wedding day that alleviated a lot of stress. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we loved spending the day (all 12 hours!) with her. The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined - we really cannot recommend her enough!

    100/10 would recommend! Ashley & her partner, Liv, were incredibly easygoing, and downright fun to be around. Ashley took the time to go over how she could capture the moments that were most important to us, our desired aesthetic, and wedding planning timelines/details along the way. During the formal shoots, she guided us in all the right ways, and the organic moments she captured outside of that were thoughtfully executed. She was timely with the edits and the final photo galleries are everything I hoped for (and more). When I say I cannot stop looking at our wedding photos, I’m not exaggerating - they are stellar. We’ve also gotten countless comments from friends and family about how perfectly our wedding day was captured. I was lucky enough to stumble upon the Unabridged Photography website after perusing for wedding photographers in the Chicago area on the Knot; I was struck by how well she captured light, movement and detail (not to mention our mutual love for ABBA discovered in her Bio). I cannot recommend Ashley (and Liv) more highly!
