The Barns at Edgemont Inn consists of a 4400-square-foot custom-built event barn which, together with the historic Edgemont Inn and on-site lodging, sits on 20 acres of verdant hillside in the scenic Champlain Valley. Lodging that accommodates up to 23 people. The surrounding acreage contains a sweep of peaceful farmland and hardwood forest, etched by an old-fashioned stone fence. Views from the property extend out over Lake Champlain to the spectacular Green Mountains on the lake's eastern shore, and provide abundant photo opportunities and memories.

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

The Summit Lodge is an exclusive resort. We will only host one wedding per weekend. The entire property is yours for up to 4 days and 3 nights! We can host 50 to 200 people for your ceremony and reception, and can house up to 130 in our cozy lodge. We have 10 acres of beautifully manicured grounds with tons of charm and character inside and out. At the heart of our property is a historic 1880s post and beam barn that we have been restoring for over 30 years. This agricultural cathedral is perfect for intimate gatherings and a variety of activities, a ceremony, music, dancing, cocktails and reception. Our spacious grounds surrounding the barn feature a hay field, a variety of trees, orchard, berry bushes, grape arbor, yards and vegetable and perennial gardens. Our property is just a half-mile from Caspian Lake and the village and a few miles to Hill Farmstead Brewery. Located in the heart of Vermont’s finest food, beverage, and craft producers, we work closely with a variety of great local vendors who can provide you with anything you might want and an experience you won't forget.

Whaleback Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery located on a picturesque farm in southern Vermont.
