About this venue
The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. At over 10,000 square feet of event space, this venue is a rustic and expansive location in which to host small receptions or grand affairs. Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. Ensuring your event goes seamlessly and you have the best experience possible, we provide unique accommodation and transportation options as well as an event specialist to work with you every step of the way.

Standing three stories high, The Barn houses its own catering facility, two bars as well as elevators and restrooms on each floor. The impressive interior boasts high ceilings, exposed beams, a beautiful stone fireplace, and unique and elaborate chandeliers. Tasteful and simple interiors allow you to customize with your own décor and individual style.

Just off of The Barn is our 2,400 square foot flagstone terrace. The terrace is ideal for ceremony, cocktail hour and photos. A sprawling lawn lies just beyond the terrace with stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Winter wonderland wedding
The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect rustic and charming venue for our wedding. With its natural wood beams and lighting, we didn't need to do much in terms of decor - the venue spoke for itself. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Krysta ensured we were hidden from guests before the ceremony started, and Steve who served us, was incredible in making sure my husband and I had a chance to eat during the reception. Thanks to their professionalism and care, we were able to fully enjoy our special day without worrying about the details. The Barn on the Pemi to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue, particularly in the winter with the snow!

The Barn on the Pemi is an absolute joy to work with for weddings. I've worked there for quite a few years now, and every wedding wedding is efficient and fun. It always feels like BOTP is my work "home away from home." Their communication was quick, timely, and thoroughly responsive throughout the planning process. The venue itself is a stunning combination of rustic barn and beautiful greenhouse space - I love photographing in their amazing property. They are highly organized, the views are amazing and created a beautiful backdrop for every event. Plus, they are dog friendly! I cannot recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough for any couple looking for a unique and unforgettable wedding venue.
The Barn on the Pemi - winter wedding
I cannot say enough good things about choosing the Barn on the Pemi for our wedding venue. Right from our first communication with the Barn staff we felt at ease. Throughout our whole wedding planning process everyone was responsive and friendly. Our day of wedding coordinator was Kendra, who was phenomenal. It was evident that she went above and beyond to make the day feel stress free and ensure we could actually partake in enjoying every part of our wedding. We had a winter wedding and lucked out that there was snow on the ground for our pictures. Regardless of the weather, this venue is stunning. A huge perk is that the food is incredible!! We received numerous complements from the guests regarding the food, beverages, and overall service. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend the Barn on the Pemi.
Best venue ever!
Choosing the Barn on the Pemi was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding! From the very beginning they made the process so easy! As soon as we toured we fell in love! The atmosphere is perfect and the greenhouse gives the option for an outdoor wedding regardless of the weather! We knew that we wanted a Halloween wedding, but end of October is always a toss up with weather! We lucked out and got a 70 degree day and ended up switching to the terrace! The views were breathtaking! Our coordinator Krysta was incredible! She was always there to help out with any problems or questions leading up to our wedding! She went above and beyond the day of and truly made our day so special!! By the end she didn’t feel like a coordinator, she felt like a friend! The food was incredible! All our guests have reached out to rave about the food! Overall the barn was just incredible in every aspect and gave us the wedding of our dreams!
