About this venue
At The Tillerman, we like to make people feel at home. We are an inn, restaurant and event space restored and reimagined from its 1790’s bones and we’re all about the small, meaningful details that create sense of place. When folks leave here they feel like they have had an experience that feeds the soul. Our food is impeccably sourced from local farms, producers, vendors, makers and ranchers. We are entirely committed to quality and keeping our food simple and rustic. We want our guests to feel like they're going to a big dinner party at their friend’s house who also happens to be the best cook and host they know. Our vibe is old New England meets northern California meets a flower market meets a farmers market meets a warm, vibrant community. Everyone is welcome at The Tillerman. Our barn is the central location for weddings, small or large! For microweddings, the barn is used for dinner & dancing. For larger weddings, the barn is used for cocktail hour & reception.

The Summer Kitchen dining room is the perfect spot for micro weddings. An intimate space with hardwood floors, walls and ceilings and big windows that let in the light.

An intimate celebration for 30 people or less, in our restaurant or barn. Our inspired, seasonal menus reflect our commitment to our local farmers and makers - with wood-fired cooking at the heart of it all. Alcohol & beverage are charged on consumption. Options to add on a few more people to your event, or stay with us in our inn with 7 rooms.

Off-peak pricing $11,500-18,000
A simple, off-season intimate wedding for 65 people or less. Our inspired, seasonal menus reflect our commitment to our local farmers and makers - with wood-fired cooking at the heart of it all. Alcohol & beverage are charged based on consumption, otherwise the package is inclusive of everything you need for a late fall, winter, or spring wedding! Package available November-May. Required to book our inn for a minimum of 2 nights with all 7 rooms. Available select summer dates

Perfect Holiday-ish Wedding
Our wedding at The Tillerman was everything we dreamed of and more! The food was absolutely incredible- from expertly crafted cocktails to delicious hors d'oeuvres and a stunning dinner. As locals, it was so meaningful to share the amazing locally sourced food with our guests. Kenzie, Kate, and Jason were an absolute dream to work with, making every step feel seamless. The inn itself was beautiful and cozy, providing the perfect stay for 18 of our loved ones. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to make our holiday wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend The Tillerman for anyone seeking a truly special celebration!
Dream team and venue
The Tillerman has a whimsical, cozy, and quaint feel that you can't understand until you've been there. My husband and I had a date night at the Tillerman before deciding to make it our wedding venue for our 30-person wedding. Our wedding day was MAGICAL and we never wanted to leave the Inn. Our wedding day was rainy, but Mackenzie and her team made sure we got our outdoor "I do's" before taking cover in the barn for the rest of the evening. Mackenzie was such a breeze to communicate with leading up to the day and on the day. I am so grateful to have had her involved. I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding.
The perfect dream backyard wedding feeling
The Tillerman Inn & Restaurant was the perfect choice for our wedding venue! From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt and stress-free. They were incredibly accommodating, working with us to create a truly bespoke, personal, and visually stunning experience. The facilities were beautiful, with a home-y, artisanal feel that set the tone for our special day. The staff was well-organized and professional, present but never overbearing. And the dinner they served was insanely good - it felt like a truly customized, gourmet experience. With the perfect weather, we couldn't have asked for a better celebration at The Tillerman Inn & Restaurant! There is no better place to create such incredible memories, we'll truly cherish them forever!
Absolutely wonderful!
My husband and I got married at the Tillerman in June and the whole experience was exceptional. The venue itself is lovely, the perfect mix of historical charm and modern updates. What really made the difference though was the amazing staff. Kenzie coordinated with us as we were planning the wedding and was so friendly and helpful, and responded to a million emails that I sent her with different questions. The day of, the staff was on top of every detail and served an incredible meal that many guests said was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, if not the best food they'd had ever! We feel so lucky to have found the Tillerman and would recommend it to anyone looking to have a quintessential Vermont wedding.
