Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. It’s 90 minutes from New York City, and 30 minutes south of Hudson. It has hosted feasts for generations. Downstairs, intimate dining rooms and fireside lounges are ideal for parties of 8-10 people. Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.

Wyndcrest Estate is a wedding venue located in picturesque Bethlehem, CT. The newly built rustic-style barn is positioned on top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful equine facility. This stunning property can host up to 250+ guests and features a gazebo for cocktail hour, spacious lawns for yard games, and new ceremony building! Wyndcrest Estate Venue is set up a bit differently, which is something we pride ourselves on! We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We do not have a preferred list of caterers, in order to allow you to chose however you would like to celebrate your wedding. We also allow special requests such as dogs, bounce houses, mobile bars, etc.

Crystal Peak Wedding and Special Events Facility is nestled on a mountain peak in Northwestern Connecticut, convenient to both Litchfield County and Hartford County. We have outdoor ceremony options in the stone garden or the vineyard and we always have a weather back up space in case the weather is not perfect. Timbers is our most popular rustic reception room. It can hold up to 200 guests and has 24' cathedral ceilings with exposed beams with lots of natural light overlooking our vineyard. Couples can take photos on our Golf Course while guests enjoy cocktail hour. After the wedding, everyone can go to the Tavern for the After party. After partying the night away, hit the elevator button and you can go right to your room. We typically host one wedding a day and have no set start time. Locust Grove Estate is an unforgettable setting for weddings throughout the year, overlooking the Hudson River that combines the charm of the 19th century with the comfort of the 21st. Our West Gallery, located in the Arts-&-Crafts style Museum Pavilion, offers a unique setting for weddings. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the covered terrace and shaded courtyard, then dine and dance in an elegant gallery with hardwood floors, a cathedral ceiling, and three walls of windows and French doors providing access to the estate’s 200 acres of gardens and grounds. The West Gallery comfortably accommodates between 50 and 150 guests for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent Garden Lawn may also be rented for a ceremony overlooking the perennial gardens. For your convenience, the rental includes tables and chairs, a caterer’s kitchen, air conditioning, ample restroom facilities, and easy parking. Locust Grove only schedules one event each evening, so you and your guests are assured privacy.

It was originally built in the 1800s.
