Un matrimonio eccezzionale!
Less than a week ago, my now Wife and I hosted hundreds of our most near and dear loved ones for a wedding experience that was absolutely impeccable. From the beginning, Angela and her staff were attentive and supportive of our entire vision and dreams. Our goal was to recreate the authentic Italian wedding experience that we have come to enjoy in our travels, here in Connecticut-and the Grand Oak Villa delivered! The food is absolutely authentic and delicious, the acoustics and atmosphere are amazing & the decor and lighting is elegant. We would give anything to invite our friends and family to celebrate with us again, and Grand Oak Villa is where it would be. My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Grand Oak Villa on 11/17/23 and could not have asked for a better experience. From the start of our wedding planning experience, Angela and Tarin were absolutely amazing. They made my husband and I feel so welcome and treated us like family from the very beginning. About eight months before the wedding I tore my ACL and had surgery and Tarin even checked in with me to see how the surgery went and wish me well. As we got closer to the wedding, the girls made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They checked with us about our other vendors, gave us some advice, and helped us double and triple check all of our information right up to the day of the wedding. They reduced our wedding planning stresses by so much!!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of our wedding, the food was beyond delicious, and all of the staff were so kind and friendly. Our personal server, Diana, was truly the star of the show on wedding day. She checked in with us at the exact right time, every time. She never made us feel like she was interrupting, but she was always there right when we needed her. And our drinks were never empty! We truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Oak Villa and the lovely staff there. They really felt like family. Every single one of our guests remarked that the food was incredible, drinks were made perfectly, and the staff was so kind. Angela even personally greeted our parents the night of the wedding. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!

Great time at the grand oak villa as usual. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the room is decorated very tastefully. Highly recommend for any gathering

The Grand Oak villa was the 2nd place I toured when searching for a venue and I could not have picked a better place to have my wedding reception. The grounds are beautiful! We chose to only have a reception there, but they have a beautiful ceremony space outside to utilize. We used their grounds for our photos and I can’t wait to see how beautiful they look. Angela and her team is extremely knowledgeable about the Wedding industry. We set up a first meeting to go over packages and let me just say all of her packages are reasonably priced and offer lots of different options for every price point. we went with a mid tier package, which came with so many food options I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. throughout the wedding planning process Angela allowed me to come in with any questions I had, as well as do a mock tables set up a month before the wedding. Two days before the wedding, Angela and her team allowed me to drop all of my decor off which are they were so helpful in setting up for me and allowed me to come back and take a look at the room once it was all finished The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Thanks to Angela and her team. My event coordinators for the day made sure I was never without a drink and we’re always checking in on me and my husband throughout the night. they set up the bridal suite for me and my husband to eat in during cocktail hour so we can unwind, and let me just say the food was phenomenal my guest raved about the food!! everything was delicious and there was so much food. Everyone went home with a full stomach. The bartenders did a great job making drinks and we had a signature cocktail, which was an espresso martini that the bar made absolutely phenomenal. highly recommend a Grand Oak Villa if you’re looking to plan a wedding or wedding reception.
