When you hire Brooklyn from Brooklyn Rain brides, you can rest assured that your day will be utter perfection. throughout the wedding planning process, Brooklyn was always there for me to reach out to and ask questions and give her professional suggestions. She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. My guests came to me after the ceremony and said it was the best ceremony they had ever seen and I couldnt agree more it had so much emotion, romance and pure magic sprinkled in and brooklyn was incredibly calm collected and well spoken capturing my husband and Is love story perfectly. I cannot recommend her services enough, not only can she officiate the most romantic ceremony ever She is also an incredible wedding coordinator and will make sure your wedding runs smoothly allowing you to have a stress free wedding day! I literally didn't have to handle a single thing on my wedding day because she was there to handle it all. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!

When we were looking for a day-of coordinator, I immediately thought of a friend who worked in wedding planning. It was a while since we were in touch but despite no longer working at Calmerin anymore (decided to go on a different career path), she highly recommended booking them and working with Glennie, the owner. Glennie was so communicative throughout the whole process. She explained what was included in the different package levels, which is especially helpful to understand if you’re just starting the wedding planning process. I let her know that I would only need a day-of coordinator since I was already pretty far along in the process having booked multiple vendors already on my own. Glennie and her team were AMAZING. Understood the assignment. They provided detailed instructions and spreadsheets to help better understand your vision and start compiling all the information together to make sure your big day goes smoothly. Drew was assigned to be the on-site coordinator and worked alongside Glennie. We also had a few other coordinators join us if Glennie wasn't available (she's physically based in SoCal but has a steady team based in NorCal). All were absolute sweethearts! Asked all the right questions during the venue walkthrough and made sure to follow up with you and your vendors in a timely manner. Made rehearsal a breeze when none of us knew what we were doing. Took all my DIY décor and placed them better than I could ever imagine. My family members told me after the wedding how they really enjoyed having Drew and Glennie around to help them be at the right place at the right time and how they were helpful throughout the whole day. If I ever had a question or needed anything throughout the entire process, especially during the day-of, they were there for me. They had an emergency kit ready to go (which really helped when we had a lapse of planning for our video game station where we needed a flat screen to project on). They made sure we were taken care of, fed and hydrated, and ready to go. We had SUCH a blast enjoying our day without needing to worry about the little details or our guests. At the end of the night, they made sure to have everything that we wanted back packed up and ready to go. I honestly recommend Calmerin Designs and Events if you're looking for a planner and/or coordinator!

I married my wife in September 2023 and Athena was our planner. She helped us map out all the moving parts to having a wedding and she gave a lot of "pro-tip" type guidance around how to implement our creative choices. I really appreciated this because neither my (now) wife nor I were previously married and so we had no experience with how this or that thing we wanted could go wrong or not turn out as we expected. Athena is basically a wedding sage and when she made recommendations she could also articulate how and why her recommendations would prevent headaches for us down the road. She communicates well, ask questions, and overall conducts herself with a very comforting casual competence; we never worried that she had lost track of what we wanted. Another thing about her that I respect is her management of errors. There was a relatively minor error/miscommunication that she caught, communicated about, and corrected in a professional way. That is my review of her planning support. 5/5, would hire again. Let's talk about how she actually manages an ongoing celebration/party cuz here is where the wizard skills really came into focus. She seems to thrive in the chaos and never lost track of time or what needed to happen next. She prompted us for all of the important beats and she did so gracefully. I'm not sure how many times this happened (at least twice?) but she also would just suddenly appear throughout the night to give me a glass of water to drink and in retrospect that was a really thoughtful/helpful thing to do. She was there when we needed her and somehow never in the way when we didn't. 6/5, would hire twice for the same party.

I had a very unique style wedding and most of it I tried to do DIY. In a nutshell, it became extremely overwhelming for me, so I asked my planner Rebecca to assist. It goes without saying that when it comes to event planning, Andrina gets it! She's insanely creative and at the same time refreshingly collaborative. When I contacted her about organizing a romantic marriage proposal, she made it a priority to understand my vision and then build off of it. Given that I wanted to propose in Big Sur but couldn't come up from LA without getting caught, Andrina scouted several locations, took photos and videos, and kept me updated on all our options as they developed. She was transparent in all our communications and was always conscious of our budget when giving suggestions. The execution of this proposal was flawless and exactly what I imagined. There was a beautiful picnic arrangement waiting for us as at a secluded, picturesque spot where photographers were inconspicuously pretending to be tourists until I popped the question. After an intimate photoshoot we proceeded to a surprise dinner with the rest of the family at a local restaurant, where the table had been pre-arranged with flowers and custom menus. It was such an incredible day and I can't thank Andrina enough for making this important moment happen. Cheers!

Valley Decors provided good communication throughout the planning process, though we felt communication could have been better on the day of the event. However, they still did an excellent job overall. The team at Valley Decors set up the event flawlessly for our 350 guests - everything came out perfect. They have a great team that works well together. The only downside was that they picked up rented items like the table runner and napkins before the night was over, which I didn't appreciate, though I understand they needed to collect plates and glassware. Despite this, Grace and Travis were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond, even stepping in when one of our other vendors fell short on tables and linens. They provided amazing rentals and were able to quickly deliver extra tables and freshly ironed linens with less than 24 hours notice. Although there were a few minor hiccups on our wedding day that were out of their control, Grace and Travis provided an exceptional setup and coordination for our event.
