The team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected with Bethany, her communication was professional, super responsive, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail of our special day was exactly as we envisioned. The venue itself is a secret beauty, with beautiful water views, gorgeous gardens, and a historic, charming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the garden to table food prepared by Chef Troy was absolutely delicious. We asked the owner Gary to give a short talk about the history of the property and its mission to support local housing - it added such meaningful context to the experience. The entire staff took wonderful care of us and our guests throughout the wedding, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We are so grateful to the team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn for helping make our wedding day a true dream come true.

We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. I always loved to work the weddings, and imagined that my dream wedding would be there one day. I am so so happy that I was able to make that dream come true!! IslandWood goes above and beyond to make the guests' and bride & groom's experiences absolutely perfect! I personally already knew the food would taste amazing, as I used to always eat the leftovers when I worked there. But eating food from a menu that my husband and I got to custom design with Jim was truly an unforgettable experience. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! Moreover, Erica, our event planner, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect weekend! IslandWood is a magical place, and your wedding will be magical if you choose to have it there. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, the staff is wonderfully kind and the wedding experience there is truly magical. Everytime I come back Dawn and Dave have added something new to the property. Whether it's a fancy chicken coop or new vegetable boxes in the garden, the attention to detail and care is unparalleled. The thought and love for the property and their clients is also evidenced by the smooth running of the wedding day schedule. And the food! Easily the best wedding food. Dave does a wonderful job working with the clients to create an amazing meal and Dawn's pastry skills are wide ranging and delicious. I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic a venue Fireseed is!

Ray's was recommended by a friend of a friend and are so pleased with how everything turned out! We did not know where to begin with our planning and had the help of Ray's staff to guide us through all the details leading up to our wedding and reception. What helped us was the promptness in answering our questions and quickly shifting gears as we got closer to our wedding. The food options are incredible and loved that we did not have to stress about additional vendors for our big day! The day of, Peter was so helpful and quick to solve any problem that came up. As a wedding DJ I have been to many venues and for a city venue this is a special one with the view of the canal, boats and trains. You are on the edge of the waterway and the windows do the view justice. Plenty of space for tables and a dance floor with another section that flows well into the space. The bar and esthetics are well thought out and the staff is friendly. The patio is perfect for an outdoor ceremony If you are having guest come visit Seattle, this is as Seattle as it gets. We had a 35 person wedding at Dunn Gardens in July 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Choosing the gardens was hands-down the best decision of our wedding and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. My husband and I searched all over WA and the Bay Area for wedding venues. We were looking for: - an outdoor wedding in the woods - a space appropriate for 40 guests - the ability to host a medium fancy, catered event- like an elevated backyard wedding We chanced upon Dunn Gardens on a botanical garden website. The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The space alone may be the most gorgeous, well hidden little pocket of Seattle out there. Even folks not looking to get married should check the gardens out- we visited many times in the year leading up to our wedding, and in every season, the garden is a stunning, PNW dream. This is just what we wanted: a place where we could be at peace in the trees with our guests. It was so magical day-of, and all our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was. Though the scenery alone is enough to set this venue apart, the rest of our experience here was also incredible. The professionalism and assistance we received from our venue coordinator, Sara, was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way (for a year!) coordinating with our outside vendors, helping us make key decisions, and solving problems for us that arose day-of with our caterers. Working with Sara was one of the best parts of our wedding process. We also loved the flexibility and access the venue provided. In addition to our Saturday wedding, we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner and nature walk at the gardens Friday night, plus a floral prep party in the garden cottage Friday afternoon. Then, after the wedding, we had Sunday and Monday to clean up. The ongoing access to the gardens all weekend was so helpful logistically and gave us more time to enjoy the space with our families. Most of our wedding took place on lawns outside (there are many little areas to set things up- we had our rehearsal dinner on the cottage lawn, ceremony on the tennis lawn, and reception on the great lawn). For our floral prep, rehearsal dinner food area, and getting ready areas, we used the cottage. We did not rent a tent since it was July (a tent would be a good idea most other months). The venue was very flexible with our choice of vendors and our timeline and vision for the event. A few restrictions that worked fine for us were the limit on the headcount (40 at the time we had our wedding), time cutoff (guests out by 9pm- this was perfect, we bar hopped in Fremont with our friends afterwards), and no microphones, speakers, or DJs (we had a keyboardist, which was great. No mics for the ceremony and toasts, which was not a problem at all). A few more helpful things the venue provided were plastic banquet tables, folding chairs, use of furniture for things like outdoor lounging and gift tables, tablecloths (casual style, perfect for the rehearsal pizza dinner), vases (used for floral prep), and chalkboard signs. We loved our wedding and we are so grateful to have had it at Dunn Gardens. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly, and encourage any couple thinking about it to stop in for a visit. You will fall in love with this garden- we certainly did and will be back for years to come.

We had a truly magical wedding aboard the Virginia V this July. Our dream was to start in Lake Union, go through the Ballard Locks and end up at the downtown waterfront and they found a way to make it happen. Alicia and Mark were extremely responsive and accommodating of our requests. Our guests had an amazing time and we were so honored to celebrate with a piece of Seattle history. The Virginia V is a nonprofit and I loved supporting them in preserving the ship rather than paying a corporate wedding venue.

The Ruins is like someone took all the cool bits of Seattle, threw in a dash of vintage Europe, and turned it into a wedding venue. From the get-go, the place just oozes personality. You've got walls with hand-painted murals that could have been lifted from a storybook – I’m talking vibrant colors, whimsical scenes, the works. And antlers. And trees indoors. Each room in The Ruins has its own thing going on. One feels like a swanky 1920s lounge, another like a secret garden. We had space to spare, so people could either kick back in a cozy corner or hit the dance floor without stepping on toes. The décor is this wild combo of eclectic and classic – it's like your great aunt’s house if she had more money than cigarettes and if she collected stuff from around the globe and had a killer eye for design. The library is amazing – shelves lined with books, a fireplace that makes you want to curl up with a novel, and this epic swooning couch. So, I might’ve taken inspiration from George Costanza – yep, I did a topless photo shoot on that couch. It was all in good fun, and the photos are a riot – a keepsake that breaks the mold of typical wedding seriousness, just like The Ruins itself. The food was great (but they let you bring in your own desserts so do so if you wanna save some money). The only, minor issue, is the bridal suite's location. It’s right by the kitchen, so it’s kinda like Grand Central at rush hour with the staff buzzing through. Note to brides: Swap it out for the library. Trust me, it’s much less busy (if darker) and you won’t have the kitchen hustle messing with your pre-walk-down-the-aisle zen. Honestly, The Ruins is the kind of place that’s perfect if you want a wedding that's a bit left of center but still super heartfelt. It’s quirky without trying too hard and intimate without being cramped. The whole day felt like us – not stuffy, just a big, fun, love-filled party. The Ruins has many nooks crammed with curiosities and corners begging for a photo op, it’s a place that feels alive. The mix of odd and elegant, the hand-painted walls that seem to whisper tales, the stuff like the enormous elephant (sadly, only in the back back room so only good for wedding photos not the guests) and the patterned horse and much more all adds up to a vibe that’s as unique as your weird cousin, the cool one, not the other one. The Ruins is like that one weird friend who's always got a story to tell and makes everything more fun. Having our wedding there was like a non-stop highlight reel – even with the bridal suite hiccup. It's a place for good vibes, great times, and amazing photos to start your weirdly ever after.

The Graduate Seattle was the perfect venue for our wedding rehearsal dinner and accommodations for our out-of-town guests. Their event coordinator was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls, making planning a breeze even from out of state. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with beautiful, modern rooms that wowed our guests. The Mountaineering Club on the top floor was the ideal space for our rehearsal dinner. The outdoor space and views of Seattle were one of a kind. Our guests raved about the delicious food. The central location right off campus put everyone close to all the wedding activities too. We highly recommend The Graduate Seattle - they made our wedding weekend smooth and special through their fantastic communication, event space and lodging.

Being in the events industry for over 24 years in the Seattle area, the UW Botanic Gardens was one of the first venues our company worked at and is still the best overall facility we partner with today! The communication and flexibility make the UWBG the most well rounded venue with its indoor and outdoor options, ample parking, supplies available on site and most importantly the kind staff that work there from in the office to the folks who are on site during the events assisting as needed. As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available. It is a rare combination from my experience to excel in so many areas of the event industry all wrapped in one awesome venue.

We live in Seattle and wanted to get married in the city, and were drawn to industrial type venues. I think all in all we toured 15 venues across different Seattle neighborhoods and ended up choosing WithinSodo for it’s versatility in space, it’s already existing beauty (hint-budget brides- you really don’t need much additional decor unless you really want it), the welcoming staff, the easy kitchen for caterers, its size being large enough for our group but small enough to still feel intimate (we invited 200, 140 showed) and the opportunity to have some outdoor space on our wedding day. The energy in this venue is electric and we felt it each time we visited. While needing to use the in house bar at first felt like a con because it can be more expensive than doing it on your own-in the end became a pro as the ease of having everything taken care of by talented professionals (our drinks were amazing, the bar staff even worked with us to create a secret cocktail on the menu) was well worth it-and the cost was much lower than we expected given our friend group of happy drinkers. We loved everything about spending our wedding day at within Sodo from the ambiance and the slow reveal of different rooms in the space and especially the rooftop dance party and we’ll be forever grateful that we chose this space. We can’t review WithinSodo without gushing about Kate, which feels truly evil because not everyone will get to work with her in the same capacity as we did. Kate is the venue representative but happened to be filling in for the on-site day of coordinator to plan and execute our wedding day while WithinSodo was going through a coordinator staffing change. We just have to elaborate on how lucky we feel to have been placed with Kate and how lucky you’ll be to have Kate play ANY part in your wedding day as part of the WS team. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our wedding day because Kate worked so hard and so efficiently leading up to it and the day of the wedding. Kate’s attention to detail got us thinking about aspects of our wedding day that we hadn’t even considered, and through the answers she gleaned from her thoughtful questions she knew exactly what was important to us and where we were flexible and not. She got to know us, our story, and our hopes for the day so well and by the time the wedding day came we trusted her without reservation to solve problems, make decisions, and execute the best night of our lives so that we could be present. As a wedding client you have unlimited virtual or in person walk-through sessions at the venue as you’re planning, and we found ourselves taking every opportunity not only to come see the space in person but to spend some time with Kate. Her professionalism is 10/10 but in a way that still leaves her completely approachable and fun to be around. Kate-we know that you moved mountains for us on and before our wedding day and we will never forget the love and care you gave to us. We just received a sneak peek of our wedding video and Kate makes a tiny appearance and our hearts bursted with joy when we saw this because she became so cherished in our wedding memories. While she was in the background making everything happen she was very much in the foreground of gifting us calmness, confidence, and reassurance on our wedding day.

We had our wedding at the Metropolist almost a week ago, and we had the most amazing time! When we had our initial tour a little over a year ago, Andi was responsive and made us feel comfortable with the options we had, and quickly shared inspiration and recommended vendors. From this initial meeting, we knew we wanted to book this venue space. Over the course of planning, she continued to remain responsive to any questions we had. Closer to the wedding, we found out our contact changed and it took some time to get a consistent contact person. Though we were initially worried that this would impact our event, everyone we had communicated with was just as responsive and helpful in our planning. In the end, we know that we made the right choice. The space was perfect for our wedding, as well was the equipment that we were able to utilize (tables, chairs, iron easel, uplights) helped complete our vision. Would definitely recommend Metropolist and their staff!

From the moment we first reached out to the team at Georgetown Ballroom, their communication was clear, responsive, and extremely polite. The venue itself was funky, spacious, and felt very private - perfect for our wedding celebration. Robinswood House was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Their communication was always efficient and detailed, which we greatly appreciated during the hectic wedding planning process. Having our ceremony and reception there truly made our special day feel that much more special. We also want to recognize that as the couple, we had to organize and communicate with all vendors for the day to run smoothly. Robinswood House had great recommendations, but at the end of the day communication and execution relied on us and our vendors. Finding a venue is probably the most stressful part of wedding planning. We researched for weeks, looking for the venue that felt right for us. We looked at many options online and were able to narrow our list down to a small handful. After our first few venue visits, we figured we would have to settle in one way or another. Then, I searched for wedding venues in Woodinville and came upon a true hidden gem in Liljebeck Farms. The venue wasn't advertised on the big websites and I hadn't heard of it before. I reached out to Tami and scheduled a visit. When we arrived for the tour we were greeted by Tami who is an absolutely wonderful human. She showed us around the venue and shared the history of the location and her family. Upon walking into the ceremony space, my husband and each I fell in love with it immediately. The venue is everything we wanted and more. The lighting is bright, modern, and inviting. The location has tons of parking spaces for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony. We were able to choose our own vendors and build the wedding of our dreams! The groom's dressing room is just as thoughtfully crafted as the bride's. The bar is stylish and creative. There are fun lawn games for guests. There is a rental room that has a huge selection of beautiful decor free to use for your wedding. Every detail of the venue is well thought out, from the wood to the flooring, the dance area, and the tables. Tami and her husband worked hard to make their venue into a stylish canvas upon which to paint the wedding experience of your dreams. We also scheduled time to visit the venue throughout the year of planning. Tami was very responsive and welcoming. We even came up with ideas for enhancements, and Tami and Todd updated the space to improve the experience for us and their future guests. On the day of the wedding, Tami and her family were so helpful! They helped hang things, move items, lighting, and so, so much more. This is a venue that is beyond professional. They go for the ride with you. They care about their couples and want their day to be truly special. A lot of care goes into each and every detail to create this beautiful environment. I couldn't imagine a better place to commit to my husband and I am thankful we found this gem.

We were thrilled with our experience at Carleton Farms. The venue was simply gorgeous, with beautiful rustic charm that perfectly captured the ambiance we envisioned for our big day. Communication with the staff was amazing - they were responsive, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy our wedding. The value for what we paid was fantastic. Despite a bit of rain, the staff swiftly wiped down chairs and pivoted to keep everything on track. We couldn't recommend Carleton Farms highly enough for couples wanting a picturesque, smooth-running wedding that feels warm, intimate, and completely special.

This is a beautiful wedding venue that can host 100 guests comfortably in the ballroom inside. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace that opens up to extend the space and is perfect for summer nights and can be used as the ceremony area during the day. The service and event lead was top notch throughout the process. They also offer free parking for guests in their garage. The hotel itself is also new and makes for a great stay for your guests with Farine bakery just walking distance for brunch. The location is also ideal and in the center of Redmond downtown with walking to distance to just about everything. We truly enjoyed hosting our wedding reception here and would recommend to all our family and friends.

DeeDee is an incredible owner - providing the best service and advice throughout not only your wedding day, but planning as well! We loved that Sadie Lake had such a large inventory of decor - we saved hundreds here! The bridal suite with beautiful natural light, large and accommodating groom’s suite, and the prep kitchen was a huge bonus. Now let’s talk about the grounds - DeeDee has created a beautiful venue. When we showed up for our tour, she was in gardening gloves and boots - we knew that she kept this place immaculate! Everything on the 18 acres is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for wedding photos! The barn is a beautiful backdrop, the lake is adorable, and the lush green grounds are to die for. The tent and barn provide great alternates for poor weather as well (we didn’t need it, but we were glad to have a backup, knowing Washington). Our guests absolutely loved partying it up at Sadie Lake! Deedee is the kindest vendor, and truly cares for you as a couple and the important part of your wedding day; that you love each other and are getting married!! We highly recommend Sadie Lake! We had our wedding here June 24, 2023 - and we could not have been happier with our choice. The venue itself is just beautiful already, but Dave and Terri are constantly doing work throughout the year to improve it in whatever way they can think of! We booked our venue 1 1/2 years in advance, so we took many trips to Stilly Brook during that time, and every single time we went to visit we noticed an additional change that had been made to keep the venue looking beautiful. Whether it was repainting to make something look more fresh/vibrant, planting new flowers, or adding a new structure to use as an additional option for ceremony location or photos - they are always working hard to keep this venue in tip top shape year round. Even the massive lawn stays mowed and in pristine condition! Additionally, a great feature here is while there are many outdoor options for where the ceremony is to be held, there is a beautiful indoor option as well! In the PNW, even for a summer wedding, it was great to know we had a great back up option in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Lastly, Terri is amazing to work with - she is so communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable. She lays things out thoroughly to help navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning you may not even think of, and was always available for any questions or needs we had. Special mention to their preferred bartender, Leanne, who was just as communicative and helpful as Terri while planning for the bar! The great quality and kindness of the preferred vendors, and the beautiful condition of the property itself, are a reflection of all the care that is put into this venue by Dave and Terri - this is something that becomes even more clear with each interaction, as this care is poured into your day as well. We highly recommend Stilly Brook!!
