We find that for venue, one of our five approved caterers, photography, entertainment, decorating, and officiant, overall budgets need to start around $15,000 for a ceremony and reception. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the oldest investment bank in America (built in 1901) located in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Financial District, was restored and converted to an upscale venue. Rosensteel Hall has been in business for over 50 years. We recently held a wedding reception for a fathers seventh daughter, all seven daughters held their receptions at Rosensteel Hall. We have a fully staffed commercial kitchen. We hold our own Montgomery County liquor license. We allow outside licensed and insured caterers. Our packages range from $21.95 per person up to $139.95 per per, with the average coming in around $50.00 per person. Most all packages include: 4hr. Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues.
