Couples can begin their photography journey with an engagement session before the big day. Megan is willing to travel for destination weddings, and can provide additional hours when needed. Zoé Alexander is an award-winning Salt Lake City, Utah, based commercial photographer and video producer specializing in photographic digital stills & video images, high-end digital imaging, and video production professionally since 2000. She shoots under the umbrella of advertising agencies, celebrity portraits, and major publications along with the occasional weddings (because she's a romantic).

From examining the incredible cathedrals in Italy to admiring a show-stopping wedding, she revels in the delight an immersive experience brings but appreciates fully what it took to get there. Captivated by everything old world, she pushes herself to create imagery that embody these very inspirations. Steph has an insatiable curiosity for how things work. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I approach photography with the same playfulness that I approach life. My imagery is luminous, understated yet evocative, and most importantly, timeless. I combine simple and fresh compositions with refined creative direction to elicit colorful, effervescent, genuine portraits.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!

I moved to New York City from a small town in Pennsylvania when I was 18 years old to study fine art and photography at Parsons School of Design. After college I was awarded a Fulbright grant to spend a year and a half photographing life on the Greek island of Kythera. When I returned to New York I decided to start a wedding photography business that would incorporate my fine art background with a photojournalistic style of shooting, and FOTOVOLIDA was born.
