Hagley Museum and Library is an historic wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum. With 235 acres of grassy meadows, towering trees, and historic heirloom gardens along the banks of the Brandywine River, you're sure to capture incredible photos of your special day. The property features three distinct event facilities for hosting weddings, the capacity varying from an intimate gathering of 20 guests or fewer, to an outdoor celebration with 200 guests.

With multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, and 8 ceremony location options, this nature center is available to host a range of wedding celebrations. Exchange vows embraced by abundant Maryland flora and fauna. For couples looking for a rustic feel, Montjoy Barn is the perfect place to hold romantic ceremonies and beautiful wedding photos. For celebrations held indoors, The Gudelsky Environmental Education Center can accommodate anywhere between 50 and 200 people, dependent on the selected event layout. This building offers a space flooded with natural light and exposed wooden beams. Rentals include usage of a spacious covered terrace and the Clark Native Plant Garden.

Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues.
