Inspired by the majestic tree that stands tall over the field behind our large ballroom, The Willows is an enchanted venue not to be missed. The twisting branches and dancing leaves of the curly willow that is our namesake capture the breeze that sweeps over the surrounding hills of Lancaster County. Tucked away in the rolling fields, you can host a cozy intimate party or a large celebration in our charmed space full of roaring fireplaces and lofty ceilings. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, our meeting house was constructed in 1930 during the administration of the Quaker president, Herbert Hoover. It was built to serve as a house of worship and a gathering place for those wanting to “seek peace and pursue it.” The building was enlarged in 1950. In 1970, we acquired the red brick Quaker House, Carriage House and garden at 2121 Decatur Place NW. Built in the 1920s and also on the National Register, these buildings today house a number of nonprofit organizations and small businesses as well as additional event spaces. With multiple interior spaces and gardens, we can accommodate events of various sizes and layouts, from 2 to 300. We host individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities. Our event rental prices are affordable, with discounts offered to non-profit organizations in alignment with our values. Whether you are planning a wedding, celebration, a corporate meeting, we can accommodate you.

Incorporated into the Capital One Center, Capital One Hall has multiple event spaces to accommodate your unique personality and taste. From the Perch, our open-air rooftop garden and amphitheater, to the Atrium and adjoining terrace, we offer something for everyone. The Atrium - 13,300sqft The Atrium is an ideal spot for large events, accommodating up to 660 guests seated in rounds of 10. The adjoining outdoor Terrace is perfect for cocktail parties up to 450 guests. The Vault - 4,001sqft If you are looking for something a little more intimate, we would suggest The Vault. The Vault can accommodate up to 200 guests in rounds of 10 with an exclusive foyer space to host your guests for cocktails prior to your dinner.
