Here are some ways the City & Terrace team went above & beyond to make our vision come to life: - Provided us with multiple scenarios & projected costs to consider in how to run reception since we were unconventionally catering from an independent restaurant that doesn't have wedding catering expertise. - Sourced Chinese porcelain tea jars from an independent supplier in Brooklyn to accomplish our very niche aesthetic demands. - Pulled a lot of strings with other vendors to buy us extra time and opportunities to see and review our tablescape design. - Our wedding day schedule was very tight with multiple activities planned down to the minute. If there's anything you do in wedding planning - it's hiring Hannah Elizabeth Events!!!!!! Hannah and her team were nothing but amazing on our wedding day. We had Hannah be our wedding coordinator as I was able to do most of the planning but still wanted a professional's opinion and help on the day itself. They were nothing but incredible and made the months leading up to the wedding less stressful and the wedding day go on without any major hiccups. Even though Hannah was just the wedding coordinator for the day, she had been immensely helpful in answering questions about vendors in the area and her opinion on certain parts of the wedding day. Even with a few delays in our timeline in the beginning part of the day prior to the ceremony, she and her team were able to still help make the day flow smoothly and without a hitch! She often came up to me during the wedding day for updates and checking in on both my husband and I. She was able to hand out the rest of the payments to our vendors at the end of the night so we didn't have to and were fully able to enjoy our wedding ceremony. I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! Erin & the Ryan Plus Planning team are absolute rock stars! From the first conversation I had with Erin, I knew we had to work with her for our wedding in the home stretch (4/5 months prior to wedding date). While we had already booked the big vendors, I felt unsure of how to bring all the finer details together - from design & timeline, to vows, to marriage license & event insurance, to suggested officiant license website for our friend. And Erin made it so easy & fun! The amount of times I had folks ask me if I was feeling stressed, and I was sincerely able to respond, "No, I have an amazing wedding coordinator!" Small examples that had big impact - Erin worked with one of our vendors on a little snag that my partner and I were unaware; she only shared about it after it was fixed - amazing to know it was taken care of and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Additionally, she blended in so perfectly with our wedding party & family, making everyone feel comfortable, energized and sure of what they needed to do for the day - and so many of them hugged her goodbye at the end of the evening. Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

If you are questioning if you need a day of coordinator…the answer is yes, yes, you do. I had a micro wedding in December of 2023. I wanted to have a stress free wedding day…or as stress free as possible. My fiancé and I interviewed a few coordinators early in 2023. We really liked Ashley’s demeanor and vibe on the phone. She asked thoughtful questions, listened to our answers, and asked good follow ups. Through out the process of creating the timeline for the wedding day, she asked questions to figure out logistics that I didn’t even think about. My fiancé and I were using the same car to get to our venue and she helped us map out that timeline. I am so glad she did because we needed to do some slight adjustments to the rental timeframe. That’s just one example of the attention to detail that she has, which made our day go great! She was involved in every aspect from the transportation company, photographer, venues, etc. She asked questions to understand guest dynamics and if there was anything she needed to be aware of in that regard. I didn’t even think about that until she posed the question! There was a very minor snafu the day of due to the bridesmaids making an unplanned detour from the ceremony to the reception. Ashley listened to me vent, had 2 different solutions thought though, helped me change into my tennis shoes from heels, and above all…kept me calm! Though we only booked her for the day, she sent follow up messages, a holiday card and is helping us nudge along one of our vendors for their deliverables, post wedding. Do not underestimate the value of a day of coordinator! I am SO extremely happy that we booked Ashley. She feels like a friend at this point!

We loved working with Noelle and Daniela at LaElleKae. Even though we were planning a wedding reception in a short time frame (4 months), Noelle and Daniela were calm and cool the whole time while also making sure we got everything we wanted. Additionally, they were incredibly respectful of our budget and very easy to talk to. It's clear that they are experienced in working with all types of brides (and grooms) with all types of visions! Daniela especially went above and beyond for us, working diligently to get the perfect stage for our reception when everything seemed unavailable - she didn't give up. On top of that, we felt that the LaElleKae team were genuine people; they built a wonderful relationship with us, got to know us personally, and shared so much love for us! They make the process easy and convenient, and we were able to enjoy our event to the fullest knowing they were taking care of us.

Being new to planning a wedding, we had no idea what we were signing up for. Quickly into the planning process, we realized we needed help to pull off our special day. The process of finding a day-of coordinator felt overwhelming—until we found MK Events. Their sign-up process was a breeze, with a low initial booking fee that was incredibly helpful as we budgeted for our big day. The clarity with which they outlined their duties gave us the confidence we needed to know we were in capable hands. I truly cannot think of a single critique. Without Melissa and Kourtney, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. They held everything together with such grace, a fun spirit, and a calm demeanor that was not only infectious but grounding and very much needed on a day filled with heightened emotions. They became more than just coordinators—they were a safe space and a solid support system beyond what I can express in words. A moment that stands out in particular was when I had almost given up on the vision I had for our altar. I had 100% resigned myself to the fact that it just wasn’t going to happen. But Melissa and Kourtney went above and beyond to make it a reality. The way they brought that vision to life, down to the smallest detail, left me incredibly thankful. And the fact that they loaded everything back into the U-Haul at the end of the night was really an incredible help! Every part of the experience with Melissa and Kourtney was exceptional. Their calm and positive energy was exactly what we needed to counterbalance the inevitable stress of the day. We were even treated to a lovely surprise when they sent us some candid background photos they had taken and a lovely bouquet of our table flowers for both me and my fiancée, as well as our parents. Their willingness to step in and handle any task, from filling vases with stones and sand to troubleshooting last-minute issues, was beyond what we ever expected. These women are true superstars. We initially booked MK for day-of coordination because we didn’t realize how much would fall on us. We found ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed with all the tasks—decorating, moving decor, coordinating vendors and family photographers, and so much more. That’s when Melissa and Kourtney stepped in, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. Thank you, MK Wedding Coordination, for being the rock that held our wedding together. You made our day not just possible, but perfect.

Good service is typically made up of clear and professional communication, timeliness, organization, foresight, and quality. On all counts, Wei Yuh provided *excellent* service. Technical Review: Her correspondence was always prompt and thorough, hitting every point and flagging items we would not have even thought of. She was also extremely flexible when it came to virtual meetings, accommodating for both of our busy schedule. On many occasions, we met outside of business hours solely out of convenience to *us* as the clients. At no point would we have expected this level of flexibility, but Wei Yuh was consistently there for us--even for ad hoc questions and concerns. Wei Yuh's organization was also exceptional. Every spreadsheet and document was well-sorted and easy to comprehend. She always took the time to walk us through items and reassure us about any concerns. In many instances, Wei Yuh anticipated issues that we would not have ever considered, saving us both trouble and money. In fact, Wei Yuh was always very sensitive to our budget and financial constraints, looking for creative ways to spare our wallet! This is yet another dimension in which her services went above and beyond. For nearly every major component of the planning process, Wei Yuh handled or guided liaising with other vendors. The result felt as if we truly had our "hands off the wheel" while still being fully aware of where the plans were headed. Overall Thoughts: We chose Wei Yuh because she immediately believed in our vision for the wedding. We had some very unorthodox ideas and were completely unsure our day would come together exactly as we wanted it. Writing this a few days after the wedding, we can say with complete confidence that Wei Yuh brought our hopes to life and executed them with precision, professionalism, and care. Throughout the process, including on the day itself, Wei Yuh maintained an energizing presence and clearly put everything she had into the project. We are certain that we could not have achieved our vision without a planner (despite stubbornly believing so in the very beginning!), but more than that, we don't think it would have happened without Wei Yuh specifically.
