The Boathouse Shelter Island is a private event space located on Shelter Island at the Island Boatyard and Marina. The recently renovated, 4,000 square foot space features over 200 feet of waterfront and incredible sunset views overlooking West Neck Harbor. The historic building, dating back to the 1920's, was originally used as boat storage. Today, it debuts a new look with versatility for any stylish event. Grammy award winning musician and East End resident Billy Joel recorded his album, River of Dreams, at The Boathouse in 1993.

One of the most distinctive historic properties in the Finger Lakes, the former White Gazebo Inn B&B, is now open for seasonal events, celebrations and Weddings! The Brewster Inn is a fine dining establishment with several different dining rooms to accommodate both small and large parties. We are able to host private functions ranging from 20 – 50 people and wedding receptions up to 180 people. We also have 17 beautifully appointed guest rooms, five of which have breath-taking views of the lake. Our brick terrace with a seasonal awning overlooks the spacious lawn down to the lakefront and is a perfect setting for dining and dancing. For your convenience we have created two wedding options – sit down and food stations, each of which is based on a four-hour reception. In-season, weddings are held primarily on Saturdays. We offer afternoon weddings from 1-5pm. There are some exceptions during the off-season for smaller more intimate receptions.
