Thanks to Tracy & George and their staffing team, our wedding day was far beyond what we ever dreamt of!!!! I will rewind back to when I first emailed Tracy about our wedding catering inquiry. She was super responsive and able to get us in for a tasting ASAP. We instantly were drawn to Platinum Party Planners because they offered a variety of catering packages and we were able to pick one that suited our budget. A lot of other caterers were firm with their pricing which is stressful! During the food tasting, Tracy sat with us to discuss our wedding day vision and took thorough notes while George cooked & served us the food. Because I did not have a "day of" planner to setup all my DIYs/decor, she said not to worry and her team would handle it (ummm AMAZING!!!!!!). At the tasting, we were blown away not only by the taste of everything, but the gorgeous plating! Everything was absolutely beautiful and screamed high end, even with our limited budget. We had our wedding at RGNY Riverhead and initially they wanted us to choose a caterer from their exclusive list. Tracy went out of her way to meet with the managers/staff at RGNY and thanks to her high level of professionalism and expertise, they allowed us to proceed with using Platinum at our caterer!!! Prior to the wedding, Platinum assembled a whole timeline/order of events for our wedding day (with my approval of course!). Fast forward to our wedding day, Tracy NAILED our decor instructions, food was delicious, and the staff was awesome!! Platinum also made up menu cards for each seat, UNREAL!! Tracy only approached me ONE time the whole wedding day and it was only to say hi and congratulations!! This showed me she had everything under control and didn't need my input on anything. Once the reception ended, the team thoroughly cleaned up and took care of disposing all the garbage. All this to say, I truly could not thank Platinum Party Planners enough. Tracy & George went above and BEYOND to make me the happiest and most stress-free bride in the world. I will forever look back on that day as the happiest day of my life. Chef Ellen goes above and beyond. We had a backyard wedding for 117 guests with passed hors d’oeuvres, appetizer station (a surprise by chef!), sit down plated entrees, as well as finger sized desserts! We had a tasting prior to decide the final menu. The food is phenomenal- chef used both our indoor kitchen as well as our garage for food prep/cooking. Not only does she supply food and server staff, but has a plethora of vendor connections for all wedding necessities- floral decor, bar tending staff and decor, linen decor, tent/table/chair vendors, etc! Transparent pricing- never felt shortchanged. We talked on the phone often, going through various in depth details that by the pictures, you can see were worth the extra time! Will be using chef again for our baby gender reveal party!

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Jillicious! My husband and I are major foodies so we knew we didn’t want to have standard wedding food at our reception. We worked with Chef Jill to put together the most delicious menu of both apps and main courses. Everyone we spoke to after the wedding couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. It honestly rivaled many of our favorite restaurants in NYC. In addition to the food, Chef Jill and her staff were amazing. They were so responsive throughout the whole wedding process and offered so many great recommendations. On the wedding day, the staff were very helpful with getting the rentals in order, setting up the tables, etc. We also had some guests thank us for how allergy conscious the wedding and staff were. We're so grateful to Jillicious for bringing our vision to life and couldn’t recommend them more! They truly contributed to an absolutely perfect wedding day!

Joint Venture cooked some of the best food of our lives for our wedding of 135 people last year in the Catskills. Danny somehow managed to create a menu that was comforting and indulgent, yet nourishing. I'm a musician who's played hundreds of weddings and I've never experienced a caterer close to Joint Venture's level. He also focuses on seasonal ingredients and sustainable farming practices-- even growing some of the food for the meal himself. We couldn't recommend Joint Venture more to anyone looking for a transcendent catering experience that's also down-to-earth (literally).

Our priorities were simple: someone affordable, organized, and easy to communicate with. With demanding jobs and limited time, we needed a team to handle the details, allowing us to focus on our big day. While other companies were professional, Mr. Hospitality was the only one that checked all the boxes and added a personal touch that set them apart. From the start, Mario’s genuine enthusiasm made us feel at ease. It was like catching up with an old friend who was excited about our lives—our two cats, how we met nine years ago, and even our plan to walk down the aisle together. He remembered these details in every follow-up, showing a level of care that made us feel truly special. As planning progressed, Selina joined the team with her organizational skills, vision, and positive energy. Selina transformed our venue, blending last-minute Amazon decorations with stunning rental pieces like the ceremony arch and lighting features. She worked seamlessly with their trusted vendor partners, ensuring everything came together beautifully. They didn’t just arrange flowers—they elevated our vision with high-quality elements and professional touches that made the space feel cohesive and uniquely ours. A standout moment was during family photos when emotions were high. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we could simply say, “Kiara has the list,” and trust her to guide us. Later, when we needed lights dimmed for the dance floor, they handled it without a hitch. Even when the cake was delivered to the wrong location, they ensured it arrived perfectly. After the event, their thoughtfulness continued. When they picked up our items a few days later, we found a handwritten card with personal moments they cherished from working with us, along with a Polaroid from our first dance, humorously labeled as the “paw-rents” of our cats. A few weeks later, Selina recognized one of us at a company holiday event and came out to say hello, making it feel like reconnecting with an old friend. I cannot sing this company's praises enough! We heard about them through a friend who was thrilled with her wedding catering through JAN NYC, so we booked them to do my bridal shower. We were so pleased that we had them do our engagement party. Now they are doing our wedding! Nick Miller, the head of the company, is your point of contact, and his awesome personality will make you feel so at ease. I didn't have to lift a finger for either event, really. I told him some basic ideas for a menu and theme, and he ran with it. He had so many great suggestions to give in keeping with my vision. He's extremely thorough and plans everything out to the tee. We were amazed at how seamless and perfect everything turned out, considering we ended up making last minute changes and adding 15 extra people last minute! Most importantly, the food is delicious and the presentation impeccable. I was very impressed with the creativity! The guests were raving about the food from both events. There is a very big selection to choose from...and it is great that they so versed in simple comfort food as well as fancy cuisine. Nick is now doing my wedding because I know I'm in the best hands. He has been in the catering field for many years and I trust his expertise. Weddings are stressful and there are unpredictable factors when it comes to planning. Nick's organization and attention to detail is honestly keeping us sane while we plan this big event. He has been in contact with our other vendors and even got us a discount! I can't recommend highly enough. I will be back to give feedback after our wedding!

Working with Purslane, and especially with Michaela and Justin, was a highlight of our wedding planning, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had such excellent partners in producing our event. The staff, especially Michaela and Justin, are responsive, friendly, accommodating, and professional; the space is gorgeous and beautifully maintained and operated; the food and drink were bountiful and delicious, and the service rivaled any of New York's fine restaurants. Best of all, the process of collaborating to make our wedding happen was easy and fun, and Michaela and Justin made us, the nervous engaged couple with a million things to manage, very confident that our day would not just go as planned, but would be a beautiful success. And indeed it was! Of all the people we worked with. Michaela and Justin deserve special mention. They are excellent communicators, responsive to the million questions and people that wedding planning entails. They are proactive collaborators, laying out a clear process and schedule not just for the day, but for the process of working to plan it. They provided useful, detailed documentation at every step of the way, including a very helpful list of recommended vendors. Every meeting with them was fun and friendly, but also productive, punctual and a good use of time. And of course, the food and wine tastings were delicious. Michaela and Justin were so helpful in giving us a sense of how the venue would perform in a situation we wouldn't get to experience until the day itself. They guided us expertly, making shrewd suggestions we might not have considered ("Since you have an open bar, we recommend choosing a heavier vegetarian entree.") My wife and I had a unique vision for our event, and these two not only assured us that it was possible, they worked with the park to accommodate myriad details, even down to the selection of lightbulbs. It's no exaggeration to say that without their help, the event would not have had the specific atmosphere we imagined, nor would it have been the roaring success that it was. All the confidence they inspired along the way paid off on the day, when Michaela, Justin, and their staff were a machine. The service was prompt, helpful, and invisible; the food was great, not losing too much in the translation from tasting to event; the wedding ran perfectly smoothly, with Purslane on top of the schedule, keeping the momentum of the night alive as they moved tables, served each course, operated the bars, and so on with perfect cadence. We are so, so grateful to Purslane for making our wedding a true dream come to life. Our only regret is not responding sooner to their lovely post-wedding thank you note, and for taking so long to write this review! I have nothing but effusive praise for Fig & Pig! They were the best catering team imaginable for our fall wedding in the Catskills. Holly prepares truly delicious meals, with huge crowd pleasers including the heritage smoked chicken, lasagne, and the cocktail hour crab cakes. Throughout the planning process Tammy was always quick to respond, and eager to incorporate unique little twists. We had homemade cookies we wanted to serve alongside Fig & Pig's delightful sticky toffee pudding and strawberry shortcake -- and they ensured it happened seamlessly. The bartenders and waitstaff brought fantastic, upbeat energy to the party. I can't overstate how thoughtful Holly and Tammy were every step of the way. Just one example: Fig & Pig had a small tray of appetizers set out for us in a private area following the ceremony, so my husband and I could savor a brief moment alone and enjoy all of the canapes before joining our guests at cocktail hour. Fig & Pig's food is magnificent. The specialty cocktails are stunners. I would recommend this team to anyone -- they are absolutely stellar.

As a wedding planner many times I am managing vendors not only to confirm service but to prevent jeopardizing my clients event. Most of the time this can be frustrating especially when things are forgotten, coupled with many last minute changes, but not with Krisp Events. With Nora and Krisp Events I can close my eyes. It is important to be able to trust your vendors (especially Catering) without micromanaging. We never had to worry about anything regarding the catering during the planning. They were flexible when we had specific questions and on top of everything. As for the food, we’re still getting compliments about it a few months later (yeah, sorry, this review is a little late). The filet was one of our choices, and it was fantastic – perfectly cooked and a large portion. Guests have also called out the firecracker salmon and the dessert cookies, and the tenderloin crostini passed appetizer was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Nicole’s does a great job with the bar, as well. Fantastic experience all around and would absolutely recommend.

I don’t know which was better, the ease of working with Allan and his wife or quality of the food? Both were amazing. The charcuterie station seemed to go on forever. There was something for everyone and Allan took into account dietary restrictions. Along with the charcuterie station there were salads as well as the main courses. They offered great selections and advice on what dishes would go best with the others. They also offered suggestions to cut down on the already economical prices. I would HIGHLY recommend Events and Weddings by Allan for all of your catering needs.

You don't realize it, but you do a TON of work with your catering, starting with the food itself, but you also have to work with them on things like rental furniture and the day-of schedule. You end up interacting with this vendor the most, and I was super glad we had Patty who was easy to work with and super organized every step of the way. She was so flexible and even biked across the city to meet us a couple times! Also the food was fantastic. We had so many amazing options to choose from, and it was hard to narrow down. But they also made sure that our selects made sense. We had two potato dishes, and they double checked that was on purpose. It was! :) We love potatoes. Also, the staff on the day-of was super professional and so nice to our guests! Everything was perfect!
