About this venue

Riverbend Events is a romantic wedding venue in Weedsport, New York. Begin your forever at our breathtaking weekend wedding destination, where rustic sophistication meets natural beauty. Riverbend Events is located just one mile north of NYS Thruway exit 40 on the Seneca River in Weedsport, New York. Enjoy 40 acres of wooded trails, ponds, rivers, fields of wildflowers, sunflowers, and poppies. There is ample parking space available for your guests, and you can get ready onsite in one of our bridal cabins. We only book one wedding per weekend, so you are welcome to stay and enjoy the property with your family and friends.

Event Tent

From the stunning outdoor ceremony by the water to the beautifully decorated reception area under the tent, everything came together so perfectly.

Our event tent is the perfect size to accommodate the DJ, bar, caterer, and a dance floor, with extra space for the welcome table and dessert area. 25 round tables accommodate 6-8 people per table and we offer high chairs as well as sturdy wooden chairs. All linens, tableware, chargers, and decor (if you like what we have!) are all provided with our all-inclusive package.

Bridal Cabins

The perfect space for the bridal party to get ready!

We currently have two bridal cabins for your use. It's the perfect space for the bridal party to get ready, with murphy beds that stash out of the way for getting hair and make-up done, and snapping some photos with an elegant and neutral backdrop. There are decorative mirrors and hooks, beautiful lighting, and sheer white curtains. Also included are a mini fridge, water dispenser, coffee maker with pods (coffee tea, hot cocoa), ice bucket, glassware & mugs, heat & air conditioning, and bedding.

    We could not have asked for a better wedding experience than the one we had here! From the second we met Mandy and Greg (the owners) and then toured the property, we were hooked. They are so experienced in the wedding industry and made our vision of our big day a reality. One of the best parts of our wedding weekend was the all-inclusive nature of the property. We got access starting Friday and had the venue all the way until Sunday. This allowed us to bring our decorations and start setup without last minute stress. The night before we had our ceremony rehearsal and then held a bonfire for our guests. The morning of we used their onsite cabins to get ready, and then took some of the most breathtaking photos. You can tell just how much thought that they put into making the landscape beautiful, with endless flowers. Our guests had a wonderful experience as well, with attendants for parking and constant friendly faces directing them where to go. The site for the ceremony is just a short walk from where you park and is right on the river…. gorgeous. Our other vendors were able to communicate easily with the venue owners and it allowed for our day to go by stress-free. Day of coordination is included and truly made the experience. We met with Mandy and Greg multiple times during the planning process and it allowed us to put full faith in them. The venue is spacious which is ideal for a variety of different vendors, allowing for personalization of your day without fear that things won’t fit. Meeting Mandy and Greg was fate, and led to our day being more than we ever could have imagined. We cannot thank them enough for taking our vision and making it a reality! We can’t wait to come back for future events, both ours and others, and see the venue flourish and grow.

    Riverbend Events provided fantastic communication throughout our entire wedding planning process - we never had any issues. The quality of their work and value was excellent, as we always had more than enough space and all the necessary outlets were readily available. They really went above and beyond to contribute to our special day, offering a convenient shuttle service and flawless service.

    We recently held our wedding at Riverbend, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was in place. Our guests had plenty of space to enjoy the celebration, and the venue provided a fantastic backdrop for some of the most beautiful photos we could have hoped for.
