The Notary Hotel, Autograph Collection, is where 1920s-era grandeur meets modern hospitality in the center of downtown Philadelphia. Back when the hotel was a working civic building (the City Hall Annex) a notary public's mark or stamp of approval was placed on a couples' marriage license to "make it official". We are casual sports bar and restaurant with great food and nightlife. If you are looking to have a casual and fun gathering after a wedding we are the perfect place for that, we have DJs Friday/Saturday night, a dancefloor, and pizza til 2am. We can accomodate private section reservations, but the rest of our venue space will be open to the public for our normal weekend entertainment.

The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is Philadelphia's Library of American History and contains over 21 million historic documents covering every topic imaginable. HSP can create a personalized experience that will thrill and engage your guests! HSP docents can pull historic documents from their enormous collection and display a curated selection of treasures selected specifically for your event. Guests can view and learn about these documents in The Reading Room, which can also host dinners for up to 60 people. Upstairs, the newly renovated Patterson Room can host up to 150 guests for seated receptions.

The original Vesper Club was founded more than a century ago as a social dining club that has been in this location since 1941.
