Watermark Solarium

5.0

Stevensville, MI
  • Up to 251 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,500

A former Pabst Blue Ribbon distribution warehouse has been transformed into Watermark Solarium, showcasing barrel-aged beer and private events / weddings. Our venue was designed around the goal of helping our clients host the "best party of their entire lives".

Picking Watermark Solarium was truly the best decision we made when starting our wedding planning journey. They are easy to work with, effectively communicate and make sure we and our guests had everything we needed. It was also a huge win that we were able to get the airbnb next door, it made it easy to run back and forth if we forgot something while getting ready. The ladies and I utilized the bridal suite which is a must! We also used the outdoor ceremony space, which was breath taking. Our guests talked all night how much the loved the space and how friendly everyone was. We truly had the party of the year and a lifetime of memories because of this place.

Journeyman Distillery

3.5

Three Oaks, MI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $9,000

The historic Featherbone Factory was established by E.K. Warren in 1883. An ardent prohibitionist, Warren revolutionized the manufacturing of ladies’ corsets and buggy whips. Just 5 miles from I-94, Journeyman is located in the quaint village of Three Oaks—the heart of Michigan’s Harbor Country. Located 75 miles east from Chicago, 30 miles west of South Bend, and 70 miles south of Kalamazoo, our one-of-a-kind distillery includes a full-service restaurant, gorgeous event spaces, lodging for up to 20 guests, and a 30,000-square-foot putting green.

We had a wonderful wedding at Journeyman in Valparaiso, IN. The East room space was beautifully decorated and was exactly what we wanted for our big day! Lenore and the team were extremely helpful throughout the process, ensuring our vision was brought to life. We received many compliments on the food, drinks and overall space. As a newer property Journeyman is growing into a popular spot and creating a brand for themselves similar to their Michigan location. Patience, communication and flexibility went both ways and at the end of the night - we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you!

19 North by Froehlich's

5.0

Three Oaks, MI
  • Up to 350 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $35,000

Breathtaking floor to ceiling windows, refinished hardwood floors, handmade farm tables, gold charivari chairs, 8' tall chandelier, built-in custom bar, exposed brick and wood beams & private rooms for your bridal party. 19 North is a gorgeous 11,000 sqft venue located above Froehlich's charming Kitchen & Pantry restaurant. With the original wood floors and over 800 tin ceiling tiles still intact and beautifully restored, this space embodies a rustic opulence that offers couples the feel of a big city event in a quaint village. At the top of the grand staircase in the all-glass foyer, guests will find a tall corridor, flanked by two sets of massive, 12 foot turn-of-the-century doors, leading to a grand ballroom, complete with a show-stopping chandelier.

My fiancé and I discovered the hidden gem of 19 North by Froehlich's while initially visiting for a delightful breakfast at Froehlich's restaurant. We were thrilled to learn it doubles as a stunning wedding venue! From the grandeur of the 8-foot chandelier and star-like pendant lights to the vintage charm of the ornate tin ceiling tiles, this venue marries historical preservation with modern elegance. The impressive wooden doors promise an unforgettable ceremony entrance, complemented by antique lounge sets and a private entrance through a picturesque glass atrium, perfect for a cocktail hour. The photos I'm including are frames from a video I took during the tour and they simply do not do this beautiful space justice! As a Chicago couple seeking a beautiful wedding without the metropolitan price tag, we were thrilled by 19 North's proximity to Chicago and charming towns like Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Michigan City. The all-inclusive experience, from the beautiful furnishings to the option of building a custom menu, means fewer details to manage and more time to enjoy the journey to our special day. There are also tons of walkable Airbnbs which will be great for us and our out-of-town guests. The array of options and pricing transparency for catering and staffing have been impressive, reflecting the venue's commitment to ease and excellence. Drew, our point of contact, embodies professionalism and attentiveness, answering every query quickly with patience and insight. For those on the market for a wedding venue that promises a seamless blend of historical allure and contemporary services, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend scheduling a visit to 19 North by Froehlich's - a true embodiment of vintage elegance and an all-encompassing wedding experience. We eagerly await our wedding day at this enchanting venue and are confident it will create memories that we and our guests will cherish forever!

Barrelhouse The Venue

5.0

Michigan City, IN
  • Up to 200 guests

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Our wedding at Barrelhouse the Venue was perfect. Everything went exactly as we had hoped. It’s such an interesting historic building and Michigan City is a great place to visit.

From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. MillCreek Wilde sits deep in the countryside of Southwest Michigan just 1.5 hours from Chicago and 2 hours from Detroit. It's a perfect central location for your out of town guests. As you approach MillCreek you are surrounded by rolling fields, fragrant orchard blossoms, fruiting trees and beautiful working farms which sets the stage for your day. In fact, Millcreek Wilde is noted for offering one of the most private and secluded wedding day experiences.

MillCreek Wilde provided the perfect rustic yet elegant backdrop for our special day. Communication with the venue owner, Amelia, was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout the planning process. She responded to all our questions promptly and helped ensure everything came together smoothly. The venue itself is simply stunning with tall trees, string lights, and beautiful landscaping that made bringing in additional decor almost unnecessary. We felt the venue was very fairly priced given the beautiful setting and helpful staff. Amelia even took the time during the reception to capture photos for an Instagram reel to help us remember our special moments at MillCreek Wilde. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, naturally beautiful venue with an accommodating team to match for our wedding day! It was a magical setting - exactly right for our personalities and hopes for our “enchanted woodland” wedding!

The venue also includes all your seating, plates/silverware/glasses, linens, cute Photo Booth area, along with tables for your welcome set up. We've been to many venues where you get charged extra for security, plating, linens, extra chairs, etc. They also have plenty of space to have over 200 people! We never felt cramped or crowded. The Design Barn also has beautiful and fun SPACIOUS rooms for the bridal parties. They also have a very cute and fun room for when the bride gets ready. We've been to other venues where there were no bridal suites or they were extremely small. Our bridal party had 9 people on each side so room to get ready was a must. The venue also provides drinks and lunch for when you are getting ready. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We are so glad we picked the Design Barn. It was PERFECT!!
