Journeyman Distillery was a wonderful choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent - they were always prompt, effective, and helpful in addressing any questions or concerns we had. On the day of our wedding, the Journeyman team made sure we had everything we needed and guided us through multiple walk-throughs to ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself was beautifully put together, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally clean. From our family and friends to the vendors and the Journeyman staff, everyone came together to make our special day truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding experience.

South Bend does not offer a lot of premier, elite, and professional venue spaces, so The Brick is truly in a class all its own. It was very easy to coordinate a visit with the venue coordinator, DeAsarae, who streamlined the process and it made it very easy upon booking. She connected me to the catering company which was also very professional and worked to ensure my vendors had access to the venue space on the day of the event to pull off a great celebration of my husband's milestone birthday! I highly recommend The Brick to anyone interested in a quality event in a beautiful space!

From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.
