We have spent the last 10 years hosting a variety of events throughout Evanston + Chicagoland and kept coming back to how we could bring a city-vibe venue to the far north side. We’ve thrown enough parties to know what’s most important, and want to help you simplify the event planning process to make it everything you dreamed of, without the fuss — and with that, PALMHOUSE was born. Evanston’s first brewery, Temperance Beer Co. is host to weddings, corporate events, family reunions, board meetings, team building events, birthday parties, and fundraisers. In 14,000 square feet, the spaces feature full ceiling sky lights, architectural award winning tap room, exposed brick, gleaming tanks, and wooden barrels. Get out of the banquet halls, boardrooms, and tired hotels and into the living, breathing space where award-winning elixirs are made. You may used just the brewery or do a full buy-out and use the entire space which includes the tap room and outdoor deck.

Welcome to the kitchen studio! With over 1800 sqft. of Indoor and outdoor private space. The space features a large open living area, full kitchen and private outdoor patio w/ fire pit. The kitchen includes a curated living room with a mix of vintage and new Mid-Century Modern furniture, free wifi, Sonos speakers, dual LG built-in wall ovens, electric countertop Whirlpool range, two reach-in LG refrigerator/freezers, tons of countertop space for prep and seating, and coffee/ wet bar. Equipped with all of the essential cooking tools and dining accessories. this bright kitchen studio is great for hosting a friends get-together, showers, meetings, family reunions and small intimate dinner parties.

Located on Chicago’s Northside in the beautiful Edgewater neighborhood, our pristine vintage firehouse, filled with rich wood, modern subway tile, and shiny tin ceilings, is the ideal venue for your next event! Our intimate venue comfortably accommodates up to 120 guests. Host your ceremony or cocktail hour in our lush, green garden space, and enjoy dinner in our vintage, rustic Engine Room. With our personal, hands-on approach, including pre-planning and day-of coordination, Firehouse Chicago is the ideal, charming space for your guests to celebrate any occasion!

The Lytle House is the perfect space to gather and celebrate with up to ​80 of your closest family + friends. Chairs, tables, good lighting, multiple backdrops within the space for ceremony or photos....we specifically designed the space in a way that makes it easy to plan a beautiful event with minimal effort. Focus on good food, good booze, and invite your favorite people to surround you as you celebrate your union.
