I love to create… I’m in my happy place when I’m able to create. My career in floral design started while I was still in college obtaining a business degree. Like a lot of college students, I spent my summer interning in an office environment…and quickly realized that wasn’t how I wanted to live my life. I needed something different, something that would allow me to more fully utilize my creativity and desire to design. When I returned to campus in the fall, I started working part time at a small floral shop. It wasn’t long before I knew I’d found my love and my passion.

I grew up in a small country town in Illinois, where my family owns a greenhouse. Growing up in a greenhouse environment is unlike any other. Surrounded by beauty constantly and learning to work hard at a young age. Since I was a young girl, I was always playing with flowers from the plants of my family’s greenhouse. I would arrange all sorts of bouquets for the kitchen table at home. Thus began my dream to be a florist.
