The Edison Downtown is a brand new wedding and event venue in downtown Schenectady and established in 2021. The venue is exclusively catered and owned by Seasons Catering where they are excited to begin hosting events. This venue holds the history from when Thomas Edison came to Schenectady to start up Edison Machine Works and when he combined it into the Edison General Electric company in 1889. After - the building transformed into the Schenectady Gazette headquarters. The Greenport The Greenport is perhaps the most elegant space of its type in the Hudson Valley. It features a historic school gymnasium, which has been refurbished while still retaining many breathtaking architectural details. The Greenport offers 2 getting ready rooms, use of our full catering kitchen for your caterer, ballroom, cocktail lounge and patio (weather permitting), guest tables, 6’ & 8’ tables, china, flatware, glassware, stage, venue coordinator, mahogany chiavari chairs, and on-site guest parking.

Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s.
