Our stunning, spiraling outdoor space features a barn, a serene stream, vibrant flowers, and a picturesque meadow, providing the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding. Celebrate your love story in a way that's uniquely yours, free from the ordinary and predictable. Our barn accommodates intimate gatherings of up to 50 people for seated dinners and 75 for dancing, while the expansive outdoor space can host larger celebrations. With the flexibility to configure any area of the property to fit your vision and the option to bring in tents for outdoor festivities, every detail can be tailored to create a memorable experience that stands out. Together, we are committed to making your wedding day a remarkable celebration filled with love, beauty, and creativity. Our in house food team is lead by led by Stephanie Skiadas, formerly Chef du Cuisine at Gaskins.

    When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.

    This was the perfect setting for our wedding! With a flowing brook, hay bales, a magnificent barn, beautiful trees, and a sprawling, lush field, it offered even more than we ever envisioned. The stunning location was easily accessible for vendors and guests, providing ample space to create our ideal ceremony and reception. Its proximity to charming hotels and Airbnbs also made it convenient for out-of-town guests! We wanted a joyful, natural celebration that reflected our unique vision, and your property provided the perfect canvas. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, readily answering all of our questions. Our guests were captivated by the beauty of the setting, and we're so, so grateful to have shared our special day in such a remarkable place.

    I can't say enough about this beautiful, expansive property and the warmth and vision of the team running it. With a background in the performing arts and Hudson Valley culinary scene, the care and thoughtfulness they've put into curating a truly special place for events is unparalleled. They were kind and communicative throughout the booking and planning process, and really helped bring my dream wedding to life.
