Jesse was always there when I needed her and was fast to help me with any questions or needs I had. Jesse and Julia helped run my special day and they were on top of everything! I didn’t feel pulled in 100 directions trying to get things just the way I wanted it, because they had it locked down. This made it to where I was able to enjoy my night. AND THE DECORATION…. Oh my goodness they KILLED IT! I gave them a canva of how I wanted it to look throughout my venue and they nailed it to the very last detail ! We booked Teyanna in 2022 for our August 2024 wedding and did not regret it one bit. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. My guests came to me after the ceremony and said it was the best ceremony they had ever seen and I couldnt agree more it had so much emotion, romance and pure magic sprinkled in and brooklyn was incredibly calm collected and well spoken capturing my husband and Is love story perfectly. I cannot recommend her services enough, not only can she officiate the most romantic ceremony ever She is also an incredible wedding coordinator and will make sure your wedding runs smoothly allowing you to have a stress free wedding day! I literally didn't have to handle a single thing on my wedding day because she was there to handle it all. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. When we were looking for a day-of coordinator, I immediately thought of a friend who worked in wedding planning. It was a while since we were in touch but despite no longer working at Calmerin anymore (decided to go on a different career path), she highly recommended booking them and working with Glennie, the owner. Glennie was so communicative throughout the whole process. She explained what was included in the different package levels, which is especially helpful to understand if you’re just starting the wedding planning process. I let her know that I would only need a day-of coordinator since I was already pretty far along in the process having booked multiple vendors already on my own. Glennie and her team were AMAZING. Understood the assignment. They provided detailed instructions and spreadsheets to help better understand your vision and start compiling all the information together to make sure your big day goes smoothly. Drew was assigned to be the on-site coordinator and worked alongside Glennie. We also had a few other coordinators join us if Glennie wasn't available (she's physically based in SoCal but has a steady team based in NorCal). All were absolute sweethearts! Asked all the right questions during the venue walkthrough and made sure to follow up with you and your vendors in a timely manner. Made rehearsal a breeze when none of us knew what we were doing. Took all my DIY décor and placed them better than I could ever imagine. My family members told me after the wedding how they really enjoyed having Drew and Glennie around to help them be at the right place at the right time and how they were helpful throughout the whole day. If I ever had a question or needed anything throughout the entire process, especially during the day-of, they were there for me. They had an emergency kit ready to go (which really helped when we had a lapse of planning for our video game station where we needed a flat screen to project on). They made sure we were taken care of, fed and hydrated, and ready to go. We had SUCH a blast enjoying our day without needing to worry about the little details or our guests. At the end of the night, they made sure to have everything that we wanted back packed up and ready to go. I honestly recommend Calmerin Designs and Events if you're looking for a planner and/or coordinator!

Her calm nature, professional and fun staff and her deep understanding of how to organize a wedding truly was apparent from the moment we hired her. She knows what to spend her time on, calms you down when you are freaking out about the little things, politely ushers you to the next event to keep the day on schedule. I never felt rushed, stressed, or worried about anything the entire day. She just handles it and everything happens in the background. I also had her do my floral arrangements. We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

From conversations prior to details the day of, Emily & Nat were absolutely amazing at coordinating our wedding. Michele was our full wedding planner. Our wedding went perfect without a single hitch and it was all thanks to Michele. We had the caterer for our rehearsal dinner drop out one week before the event and Michele found us a replacement within an hour; and the replacement caterer was a slam dunk. Everyone loved the food. On the day of the wedding and rehearsal dinner Michele and Dan did everything. And I mean everything. She set up tables, positioned flowers and welcome signs and seating charts. She ironed over disagreements with vendors and never once did we have to lift a finger. I can honestly say that Ali was our wedding-planning superhero! When we first started planning our wedding, I wasn’t even considering hiring a wedding planner since our venue came with a coordinator. We cannot recommend Jackie enough! Jackie was essential in our wedding planning and coordination. She was extremely responsive, organized and proactive. If you are planning your first (and hopefully last!) wedding, go with Jackie. She has the experience, knows what she is talking about, has a great vendor list, knows what to expect and most importantly is an excellent problem solver. I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. She guided myself and my partner though logistics for the wedding day and then on the wedding day, she was proactive, did an excellent job wrangling our guests and bridal party. When the weather didn't cooperate, she took charge and helped keep things moving smoothly for us and our guests. Jackie also had excellent vendor recommendations, many of which we ended up going well and we are so happy we did. As a gay couple, it was also really important for us to partner with someone that was excited about planning a gay wedding and Jackie was not only enthusiastic but understood our vision and contributed great ideas.
